    @Mr_Hobbles more than likely not. Sometimes you will get whatever promo is current at the time of shipping, other times they will say the original promo had ran out by the time it ships and you'll get nothing.

    Customer service is your best help for this.

    I've ran into this in the past before. I ended up not getting the current promo, but got the future one. I chatted with CS and ended up getting more than a generous amount of VIP points in consideration of the issue. 

    But mine didn't include pre-order stuff, so YMMV

    Hmm. Thats not ideal, given that the train is the first promo I've cared about in about a year. I included one of the VIP Originals posters in the order too, I wonder if that's enough to trigger the immediate shipping?

    seems that way. I placed an order for a back ordered set and they told me they would put the current gwps aside and ship them all at the same time. unfortunately, my set went from back order to out of stock. I noticed to day that my debit card had been reimbursed. I should check on that order.....

    @Mr_Hobbles I've had a situation where they canceled my promo but most recently, i ordered the Dragon Dance when it was out of stock and came with the year of the rat promo and hidden side dragster.  The dragon dance shipped a little over a month later and both promos were included.  I think it might depend on whether they have the promo in stock in the warehouse at the point of shipping.  I don't think they will always necessarily hold the promo for you.
    It seems like they have plenty of the trains so I think you will be okay.

    It's too bad that S@H can't have a system to hold off shipping an order until all the backordered items are in stock so that the order ships all in one package rather than multiple deliveries.  I can understand that that it wouldn't be the choice for everyone as some want parts of their orders ASAP, but personally I'm rarely in a rush so it wouldn't make a difference.  It could be added as an option that could be checked off during the checkout process. 

    The plus side is that it could save LEGO money on the shipping as there would only be one delivery vs 2 or more separate deliveries, there is an environmental benefit as less fuel us used by not making multiple deliveries, and in cases where there needs to be someone at home to receive the items they would only only have to be on hand for a single delivery (not always an issue depending on where you live)

    The downside is that it may be a bit of a logistical nightmare to try and keep track of all the different orders as well as needing a place to store all the orders that are in progress.

    There could also be problems as the backordered delivery dates can change.  I'm waiting on a #80104 that had a will ship by  date of March 26 when I placed the order at the start of the month. It later changed to April 6 and is now showing the more vague statement that it "will ship in 30 days".

    Holding orders for a back ordered item is a very big challenge. In order to guarantee stock, they’d have to pull everything and set it aside for each customer choosing that option. That means storage for a whole bunch of orders that are separated already. That also means different inventory management systems. It’s less efficient than just shipping items in batches.

    BBTS does this. You can just keep buying stuff and tossing it in your "Pile of Loot" until you ask them to ship it all.

    @panchox1 I was able to display PaB and select a brick for my bag - I just did it to see if it worked so I didn't actually buy anything.

    Double VIP points on all purchases from the 20th to the 29th.
    Not sure if that was preplanned or a response to people shopping online more and going out less because of coronavirus.

    #30550 brick built bunny with $30 orders, #40371 brick built egg with $50 orders

    Might get #40198 for $27.99. Okay for parts especially when getting VIP points and promos.
    includes dark bley 32x32 baseplate, 4 16x16 plates (bright green, bright lt blue, dark tan, tan), and 16 minifigures

    Did the movie get pushed back because of Covid19? Could be they are pushing back the marketing tie-ins too.

    Hmmm ... they've disappeared from my wishlist also, it is down to the two sets only. Would be nice if they would give us some sort of reason why!

    Looks like the easter egg promo is gone in the US... at least for me when I added the Barracuda Bay set to my cart, I only see the bunny promo. :-/

    I think Ill wait. I was going to get the Barracuda Bay, but not if I cannot stack some promos or get some double points. Im not spending 200 USD for a poly that was in stores for 5-6 dollars

    I'd love to hold out for a better promo too @madforLEGO, but this is the first set in a long time that my patience is going to be severely tested. I've never been a "day one" kinda guy, but this hits all of the right buttons for me.

    I happened to still be up and browsing online shortly after midnight (fine, I stayed up and was refreshing lego.com), and managed to get both promos with my barracuda bay. All show in warehouse.

    I'm actually surprised the egg lasted as long as it did with the double points and a low purchase threshold to get double gifts w/ purchase.  Especially with Lego stores closed and people stuck at home to make purchases from home.

    I wonder of there will be a second wave of availability for some of the Gifts with Purchase.  I assume they would have already been distributed to the retail stores before all the COVID store closures came about so there should still be a supply out.

    My personal guess is that these will be available in-store as they start to reopen. Although, I could see LEGO requesting all the stores to ship them back. Who knows?

    I placed an order yesterday at around 1:30 PM CT.

    I had the Brick & Pieces part in my cart for a couple of days, modifying it a bit here and there. No issues.

    (I was not aware it was not available before)

    I had been checking often, yesterday was the first time in weeks that buying parts from the site was an option. Missing and broken pieces replacement were available during that time though.
    It took a few page reloads and changing my saved payment details to get the order to process, but that often tends to be the case for S@H.

    All my clip parts -plate or brick are broken ,and as it's an adult only collection , built and not played with ,it's dissapointing, but it is only plastic and like most things made now , not meant to last forever

    Be sure to call CS and ask for replacements. TLG has fixed formulations for some colors that were known to break easily, such as brown clips and plates as found in the UCS Sandcrawler.

    Anyone heard when they might get more stock on sets? I was kinda surprised how much was out of stock on S & H at the moment

    Longer wait times for bricks and pieces, eh? Like, two months? I had to wait a month to get stuff from them before the quarantine happened lol. Still, it's good that it's back up.

    No spare Sails for the Barracuda available yet.  No rigging ladder pieces either although you can order the Mast & the Long & Short Ropes.  No Pigs yet.  Seems that most of the new pieces & new colors aren't available to order.

    So I got my BnP order through, not sure if it was something in my BnP order or if it was trying to use that VIP Coupon for the Droid Commander promo set.

    Anyone try to get through to customer service over the phone today? I've tried 3 times. been on hold nearly an hour twice. had to hang up because i'm at work and had to make some calls. Just wondering if it's worth staying on or if I should just try again in the morning.
