Picked up these sets from Legoland Windsor. Was surprised to see the 2 GWP sets for sale but since I missed out on them seemed like a good idea to get. Pizza van mainly because I wanted a second one but since it’s retired everywhere has jacked up the price so happy to find it at the normal RRP.

I'm in reverse-buying mode, i.e. just sold my MISB 10188 Death Star. And also sold off some chogokin robot toys in past few weeks (someone paid US$1.85K for my vintage Godaikin Voltes V with C9 box).

Like you, wife complaining about lack of space at home so have started clearing my toys. :(

I’ve only purchased the new Brickheadz and a couple small sets so far this year.   I’m mostly “reverse buying” also.
Selling off the collections is proving difficult.  After putting the effort into deciding which sets can be sold, taking pictures, etc etc... 9 times out of 10, I change my mind and can’t sell.  The only saving grace is that LEGO isn’t churning out as many ‘must have’ sets as they did last year.  So at least the collection isn’t growing more and more out of control.  But the year is still early...

Hopefully I wont get roasted for this but I bought some off brand white baseplates and just got them yesterday. What I like about these is that they are the same size as traditional baseplates but they are the thickness of a regular plate which means they have anti-studs on the bottom for connecting if needed. This way they will line up nicely with the winter village sets. Only got a single pack of 4 but will definitely be buying more.

I'm not sure if that was the brand I bought or if the plates were from Strictly Briks. I really liked the thicker plates but found that some of my assemblies had a hard time attaching to the after market plates. Like they are just slightly off. I'd like to know how these work out for you.

Some reviews mentioned that it can't hold bricks that are of bigger size, e.g. 3 studs or bigger.

Bought the Goofy, Pluto and Donald Brickheadz and the Lunar Lander direct from Lego on Wednesday, and they were delivered today, no problems with the website or the shipping. Looking forward to a weekend of building!

Put in an order for #10271 Fiat 500 on [email protected] along with a couple of Marvel sets to bump up the price so that I'd get #40370 40 Years of LEGO Trains and #30556 DOTS Mini Frame free for my trouble!

Not yet.  The new one comes with two smaller trees and brown fences.  I like the older one better and have been buying them out whenever I find them.  That latest was through the Lego website.  I might do another 50 in a week or two.

just ordered #60197 to get the GWP steam engine. Hope to be able to get a couple more from the Lego Store when I'm there during the last weekend of the promotion. Didn't want to chance it, so I went ahead and ordered one.

The Utrecht LegoStore keeps my wallet empty... Got myself one (1!) tub of PaB, mostly consisting of tan 1x1 plates, tan 1x2 bricks, dark tan 1x2 bricks, dark orange 1x2 tiles, lbg 1x4 plates, dbg 2x2 bricks, white steering wheels and a couple of brooms.
Thanks to Thomas and Sam for the great help and talks :)

Hitting the Disney Springs Lego Store tomorrow. Planning on finally buying the Harry Potter Clock Tower #75948-1 and the Speed Champions Audi Quattro S1 #76897-1. This will nab me the GWP Train.

After raiding my potential resale stash for Petshop and Parisian Restaurant, me and my 2 girls have been bitten hard by the modular bug. With the train promo as a freebie, a visit to the Metrocentre Lego store today prompted a modular purchase.

Couldn't decide between book shop and Diner. I prefer the book shop, but would like to end up with both.

An employee said that the 50s themed Diner and Garage have been slow sellers, so there's a chance they could be in the next sale (unlikely - TLG slap a "retiring soon" tag on and they sell like hot cakes).

So I bought the book shop. Got the train and dots frame as a freebie. A few monthly builds were handed out for the kids. PAB wall looked very empty. Apparently one of the supplying warehouses has been closed.

The modulars seem to hold up to play by our 5 year old.

I usually buy on Amazon Australia. Their prices are usually the lowest in the world. So far I don't see anywhere else cheaper than that of Amazon Australia. But they only sell the newest sets.

Had a spare hour or so in Birmingham before train home so quick trip to the Bullring LEGO store. Very quiet, I was only customer for a while. Not much I actually wanted so just got the Easter bunny box thing and built some minifigures who all like teddy bears. Got home and my eBayed ‘midifigs’ had arrived - had one of the other versions of the girl figure in my collection so thought she needed some company.

That is a very.. special observation, when I usually read only complaints from AU people that they're massively overpaying? :O

I’ve never felt like we’re overpaying. But as for the above comment, maybe the exchange rate makes them cheaper for those located in Japan.

Finally decided to get some masks for my family, ordered from Aliexpress.

Yes, no masks for us since the outbreak in Jan.

As for Lego, have been slowly downsizing my collection since some time back, due to space and financial commitments.

^ I was bitten by the modular bug about 6 weeks ago. Built Pet Shop, Book Shop, Parisian Restaurant, Assembly Square and now building Palace Cinema. I had a bit of itch to buy another something - kept flitting between Corner Garage, Diner and Barracuda Bay. Couldn't decide so bought neither. In my mind, the pirate set looks far more fun. There's just something a bit lacklustre about the garage set, but then again, I thought the same about Assembly Square, but it looks far better in the flesh. Not fussed on the freebies.

    Still deciding...

I reluctantly purchased a Rexcelsior from Target.  Couldn’t wait around any longer to find/get one cheaper.  Been wanting one since it first came out.  None of the Walmart’s around here had any when they went on clearance so, I gave in and put in an order.  It came today just in time for Easter.  Funny thing though, the set came in a Friends Olivia’s Cupcake Cafe box.

Easy to see how they could mistake the two sets.  They’re so much alike.   And just FYI.... Target customer service hold time is over an hour.

Ordered #75551 Minions the other day but not due out for a week or so. Added some extras for the freebies and these chaps turned up this morning.

In the meantime #71016 Kwik-E-Mart in the early stages of deconstruction.

After many calls and long wait times, Target has shipped out another #70839.   Should be here today.   Weird thing is that the Rexcelsior weighs 6.5 lbs and the package being delivered weighs around 8 lbs.
If they screwed up the order again I hope it’s Clorox wipes.
    Or batteries.
