Any help on this guy? Not sure if the head is original.

Torso and legs appear to be Cole ZX, from polybag #30087 from 2012.

Hi Lego builders, we recently came across a box of Legos but no manuals. Anybody recognize the pieces? My kids and I would love to find the manual online so we can build them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

First suggestion is the minifigure isn't Lego so toss him. The parts you are showing are so common it would be impossible to suggest one set. More pictures are needed. You might also make sure you have actual Lego parts in your photos also. Look at the pieces for the word LEGO on them.

The black part with a 2 x 2 end on it came in black in one of these sets. There are only 5 sets it came in so it should be an easy one to find. Unless you are missing a lot of the pieces.  https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=57779&in=S

Thank you pointing out it’s not a Lego minifigure so he gets tossed out. Thank you also for your tip that it may have come from one of the 5 sets you’ve included a like. That really helps. I just attached 2 more photos. Hope it narrows down the sets.

#7642 Garage. The dark grey plate with the "JM 7642" gives it away- LEGO often use the set number as a license plate, and the Trasparent Brown garage door pieces confirm it.

That tablecloth or whatever it is, is seizure-inducing...do you build directly on it? I find it difficult to discern parts

Thank you so much for the information. My kids and I will work on the set tomorrow. The (tablecloth) is actually the inside of the cardboard shipping box from Lego. It does look dizzying in the photos. Thank you again for all the information.

Lego never made horses with relief on them. They aren't Lego. The search you were looking for is animal, land. It's at the top of the parts section.

^^^ I can already tell the 2 studs where the saddle or minifig fits, don't say "LEGO"

I’m trying to purchase the parts that I’ve circled but have no idea what their part numbers are. Is there an app that can identify lego parts? If anybody knows their part numbers, I’d appreciate it. Thank you. Also feel free to recommend sellers I could purchase these parts from. Thanks.

Is it a custom set? Doesn't it provide a parts list?
  • stluxstlux Member Posts: 2,450
Those are the instructions of #3451 Sopwith Camel, so the part list is available here on Brickset...
As it's an older set, the inventory here is however incomplete; Rebrickable and Bricklink have a complete one.

    The highlighted parts are
32015 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Angled #5 - 112.5 degrees
    3707 Technic, Axle 8
    x136 Technic Wishbone Suspension Arm

All 3 parts are in brown, an old colour no longer in use. Plenty for sale on Bricklink, but a bit pricey if you want them new as all 3 were only used in 2 sets in 2001-2002.

My parents found a small bag of parts from when I was younger containing, among other things, some Ice Planet pieces, and the below.  Any idea what set this may have come from? I can only find the unprinted part on BrickLink in orange… there's one seller with what they're describing as the same piece as this, but BrickLink doesn't know what set it may be from.

  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,566
^ Wow, you gotta wonder why TLG thought it was worth it to make that piece for one set.

The mold was used in several 1980's space sets, and Arctic from 2000 as well. The Aquashark set was about $3, so I bet they sold a lot.

The same piece “cockpit space nose” was used in orange in the Arctic sets from 2000... below is a pic of the different variations...

whoops! My mistake. It threw me that BL didn’t show any other colors for that printed piece.

Fantastic thank you! I don't know why I didn't think of searching for "cockpit nose" after I found the orange ones, but like @Astrobricks it threw me that it didn't show other colours.

My mum has sent me a photo of a small tub of Lego she found, can anybody help identify what set(s) it may contain? I don't recognise the logo on the printed piece.

^The logo on that slope piece looks to be from one of these Exploriens sets. It seems to be a mix of parts though since some of the pieces in the picture aren't in any of those sets.

Nice puzzle! The printed piece is probably from Exploriens, 1996 Space, but in a couple other sets too. The white hexagon with a clip and a shiny, prism-y sticker was only in Exploriens sets. The blue thing with a small gear in the middle and a black 2x2 round brick on the side was (in blue) only in #6394, a Town set. The 3x3x2 white things were only in #6879, an Ice Planet 2002 (1993 Space) set, and #4537, a Train car set. Overall, it looks like mostly parts from Space sets. Were these your childhood LEGO?

@560Heliport yes, I think it is! More my brother's though, I think, he's a little older than me.

Thanks for your help, I'll send that back to mum and see if she can build any of them!

I came across these lego sets today and wondering what set they came from. I would like to complete them. Thank you in advance for the help.
  • bandit778bandit778 Member Posts: 2,398

    @Legojack10231
The build circled in purple is from set #79017
The two builds circled in red are two half of a mech from #70737
And the last build appears to be a mash up as the two yellow slopes with the vent sticker on only came in #7968 but a lot of the other parts in the build didn't.

Can anyone think of a minifig with multicoloured stripes printed on it's arms? Ideally, the base would be a dark colour.
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,277
Not sure if these help, but from CMF: series 2 Mime, 5 Lumberjack, 6 Skater Girl, 7 Hippie, 9 Roller Derby Girl, 10 Tomahawk Warrior, Sea Captain, 14 Tiger Woman.

Skater girl is pretty close to what I want, actually. If I can't find something more colourful, that'll probably work. Thanks!

I was trying to search on Bricklink, but I was sifting through pages of striped torsos despite specifically identifying arms in my queries. One day I will master their system, I swear. Hahaha.
I'm just tinkering with the Trolls sets and it suddenly irked me that the mermaid Troll has solid arms when they clearly have rainbow banded arms in all of the promotional art. The Skater Girl's base colour is actually perfect, and black stripes are better than none at all. :p

Thank you for your input on this set. I was able to put the mech together. There’s about 3 pieces missing. I hope to find them on BrickLink.

Do these belong in a set or were they put together?
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,277
The one at front left is #30265 with a missile launcher added, and missing some smaller pieces. Right rear is from #70500. Right front possibly #7977. Left rear, the emblem on the 2x2 round tile is the Eagle tribe from Legends of China, but the rest of it is not directly from any Chima set.
