    Now this is a pleasant display model, if I may this can serve as a lookout post for the Imperial Armada, as the SD dwarf this, protect the Sol System:

    Now this Lego Theme does places a smile on my face, the new DOTS theme sure is a great parts pack:

    My picks from the DOTS line are:
    -Booster Bags (41908);
    -Pineapple Pencil Holder (41906);
    -Jewellery Stand (41905);
    -Picture Holders (41904).
    Those 4 will make awesome part packs to be honest.

    Incoming Nuremberg 2020 lists. City only has two sets that call me and according to the link:
    -an airport as I am working in a MOC (good pieces);
    -a large ship that apperantly drops submarines from the center (Ocean Exploration Ship):

    Booo! ;-) i was really hoping Lego would give it a go on something like a farm (with animals). I know a lot of AFOLs dont care about animals but kids (making a set especially targeted towards kids) generally likes animals. My 2yo loves animals, among the first words he said were different animals. His first Duplo set was the 10863 animal train at 18months - still his favourite, until i gave in and let him play with my animals from the friends line... So I wish Lego would humor us that want to see the goats in production again...even if they dont have to, because Lego sets sell well anyway (common argument). One can wish, thou right?!

    I am making a farm MOC so buying parts outside of BrickLink prices will definetly help.

    I want to do it too, have the horses and chickens. Pigs and cows are affordable but i want sheep/goats too. (I dont want to mix in the sheep from the minidoll lines).

    Putting off buying goats, since im still hoping Lego will make new releases with goats in. Dont want to terribly regret buying goats (its not a farm to only have two goats...one needs at least three!) for ca 30USD each, if they will be released in sets = probably much cheaper.
    Last years farm vehicle really got my hopes up, thinking there was a chance for farm animals 2020. Oh well..

    I’m looking forward to the whitehouse!  I’m still honestly curious about the 18+ age rating.  Could this rating actually indicate even more challenging building techniques than the 16+ age rating?

    I’m actually kinda curious about the iron man bust, though admittedly I’m a marvel fan.  But again, curious about what the 18+ age rating means for the build.

    To cover both of your posts I was always interested in the Architect line but never bit into it now, I have heard that the WH will have a bigger model than the previous one as it includes it completely but we shall see.
    Aa for the Marvel line I usually get sets that can be incorporated into my builds like the upcomimg Widow Helicopter but we shall see. It's a shame LEGO and Disney is exercising a lot of restrictions to SW but considering that the CW show premiers on my Birthday we will get pictures soon.

    I read this as if LEGO announced another one from that line but it turns out it's the official statements. I also find it interesting that LEGO is catering more to AFOL.

    The architecture line got more interesting, it's almost like creator expert sometimes. The capitol caught my attention few years ago but I didn't get it. I got and built statue of liberty, I think it may be in my top 10 best sets. I have the empire state building but it's still in the box and I like the look of trafalgar square, dunno if it's worth the price though.

    It must be because of greater growth in that segment. I could be wrong but it seems Lego spend for kids is somewhat limited to the $20-$50 sets where there’s some competition for the toy dollar in that range. Adults with disposable income however seem willing to spend into the hundreds for a set with thousands of pieces.

    Ordinarily you might think that would be a limited market but with the numbers of sets coming out with that size/price they must be seeing a lot of sales growth there.  While large sets seem to have a better cost per piece as the costs of developing & packaging are spread over more pieces, it must also be more profitable as well. Perhaps because the sales & returns are more limited & distribution is all done at retail pricing through their own channels. IDK.

    To update my last post on this, after all the news:

    Brickheadz:
    #40379 : Bear - bought
    #40436 : Lucky Cat - bought

    Creator:
    #30575 : Train - it just looks really nice and well-made - no other Creator sets inspire me at the minute

    Marvel Super Heroes:
    #30453 : Captain Marvel and Nick Fury - just because it's a polybag and so shouldn't be too expensive (cries as he thinks of the potential GWP threshold) and I want that uniform on Vers.

    #76144 : Hulk Helicopter Drop - yep, it's a 2020 release so it goes on here - to complete (I think) my Endgame time travel nano-suit versions of the Avengers. And Rescue. And a helicopter.

    Star Wars:
    #75267 : Mandalorian Battle Pack - bought.
    But now I want The Mandalorian from #75254 even more. Let's see what the bricklink prices are for the minifig... TWENTY QUID?!??!!?!? Hmm...

    Overwatch:
    Still wait and see on these...

    Speed Champions:
    #30342 : Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO - it's a poly, and I'd be annoyed if I didn't get this to go with the larger version. Looks like a dog's dinner though. Which brings me on to...
    #76899 : Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO & Urus ST-X - I love the Huracan (which is why I want the poly) so I'll get this. That Urus though. Words fail me.
    #76895 : Ferrari F8 Tributo - lovely looking Ferrari. Might be nice to MOC into an F40 or Testarossa. Might get 2... or 3... Hmm...
    #76896 : Nissan GT-R Nismo - bought
    #76897 : 1985 Audi Sport Quattro S1 - removed: I saw this on the shelf and it just didn't inspire me.

    And that's it. I'm sure it'll get longer. Spoiler alert - it has:

    Creator:
    #31107 : Space Rover - a good addition to the NASA series, it's well-built and is in scale with the lander it'll look lovely.

    Technic:
    #42115 : Lambrghini - please look good, please look good, please look good, please look good - I'm sure technically it'll be just as complex as the Porsche and the Chiron

    Marvel:
    #76162 : Black Widow's Helicopter Chase - another helicopter? My dedication to getting at least one set from every MCU film is no longer accurate (I bricklinked Mysterio) so I might not get this, but I actually haven't yet got one of those helicopter cockpits, and in some version of the future where I have some free time and a serious increase in skills I might MOC the AoS Bus and the cockpit here might help - one can dream...
    #76151 : Spider-Man vs Venom - the new helmet for Venom is great, but I'm on the fence about the entire set. We'll see when it's officially revealed.

    And that's it until the next lot are announced. Probably. Hopefully.

    The Porsche is constantly moving around my wish list, from On, to Maybe, to Off. The main reasons are:

    1. The proportions are gorgeous and the mechanicals technically impressive.

    2. The price!

    3. I don't normally buy Technic.

    4. One of the most iconic supercars in the world.

    5. The colour (this can switch between a pro and a con depending on my mood)!

    Repeat ad nauseam.

    Other sets:

    #21029-1 Buckingham Palace

    #76058-1 Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-Up

    #76060-1 Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum

    #76067-1 Marvel Super Heroes Captain America: Civil War 2016

    #ISBN1465450459-1 LEGO Star Wars: Build Your Own Adventure

    Just to return to this year - I ended up getting the Porsche, Palace, Ghost Rider set, Sanctum and the Star Wars book, along with a load from Marvel & DC movies (but not the Tanker Truck Takedown).

    Sadly, I have since added Vader's TIE Fighter vs A-Wing & the U-Wing to my wants list, which are probably always going to be there...

    Looking back at 2017, although I participated in this thread, I didn't actually list anything! Looking at my 'owned' from this year, it's easy to see why though. Forty-five sets, from many different themes, including 6 movies. The only set I want that is outstanding from this year's releases is... I'll let you guys guess, but there's an obvious reason I haven't bought it yet.

    Well from my list I created back at the beginning of February, the following has happened:
    1. Tron set definitely on my list.
    2. Five out of six IW sets are not only on my list but I've got 4 of them and the fifth is on it's way. Still not sure about the Wakandan set.
    3. Two Speed Champions have been bought. So far there aren't any more I want.
    4. My son no longer wants the Talon Fighter, so I'm free to get that as it falls further in price.

    Brickheadz, Wizarding World sets and Star Wars are all still up in the air.
    Well, we're (almost) in the latter half of the year, and looking at my want and own lists and the list above...
    1. I now own Tron
    2. I have all IW sets except for the polybag - I'll get that eventually, hopefully
    3. SC remains the same - no new ones to be added
    4. I have the Talon Fighter
    5. I've added several Brickhaedz to my want list (Mr & Mrs Claus, Mickey, Minnie, Darth, Stormtrooper, Luke & Yoda, Leia, Boba, Groot & Rocket), and several more to my owned list (Gamora, Star Lord, Thanos, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Batman & Superman) but I don't want another version of Iron Man so I've left him out.
    6. HP sets - I'm tempted by the rumoured microscale Hogwarts... we'll see... Nothing else interests me.
    7. Star Wars sets - I want the UCS Y wing, the TIE from Solo and the X Wing.

    Still thinking about the Bugatti, AoU Hulkbuster, The Statue of Liberty, Voltron and Ship in a bottle. And definitely want the 007 car and Las Vegas.
    Oh, and I bought Quantum Realm Explorers as soon as it was available.

    It will be interesting to see how my list at the end matches the list at the beginning (and not just the increase in numbers!)
    Looking back at 2018, I got even more this year than 2017, which I thought was excessive. In the end I didn't get Hogwarts Castle or the Statue of Liberty - a combination of apathy for the subject matter along with price on those two. I did get all the Brickheadz I wanted, all the SW sets, the Bugatti (only last week), the Hulkbuster and Ship in a Bottle. What's left is pretty much just Voltron.

    So, to update the post I made back in October, now it's after err... another few weeks...?

    Bought since October:

    #31096 : Twin-Rotor Helicopter

    Taken off:

    #76144 : Hulk Helicopter Drop (only because it's a 2020 set)

    Still definitely want (with additions):

    #60228 : Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control
    #60229 : Rocket Assembly & Transport
    #10265 : Ford Mustang
    #10267 : Gingerbread House
    #21045 : Trafalgar Square
    #40353 : Reindeer, Elf & Elfie
    #70842 : Emmet's Triple-Decker Couch Mech
    #76139 : 1989 Batmobile
    #40433 : 1989 Batmobile (well, that's not confusing is it?)
    #40337 : Gingerbread House (again, totally not confusing)
    #40338 : Christmas Tree
    #75257 : Millenium Falcon - the best non-UCS Falcon in quite a few years

    Still might want (with additions):

    #76119 : Batmobile: Pursuit of The Joker - with the two new Batmobiles just launched, not sure I need a third...
    #75252 : Imperial Star Destroyer - This is very much a 'wait and see how I feel' purchase, because it's very expensive and I have the previous one and just how much do I want another big wedge of grey? I haven't even built the old one.

    Now I need to be careful, as the 2019 Brickset Secret Santa is running, and I don't wish to make my Santa's job any harder!
    Final update for 2019? Maybe - there's still a few I want: the big Gingerbread House, Rocket Assembly & Transport, Trafalgar Square, the Millenium Falcon and the 'might wants' (Batmobile & Star Destroyer) remain definitely maybe.

    All the others I got hold of - it was very touch and go for a couple of them though!

    Ok, it would appear someone edited the 2020 in my title (I need to see if my past lists are left untouched).
    Other than that let's keep having fun. My list that I already have (regardless of years and themes):
    -Barnionyx Enclousure, Triceraptops Rampage, Stark Jet, Ice Cream Van, Safari Explorer, Bulldozer Construction, Street Sweeper, Tunning Workshop, x4 White Baseplates and some $52 ish.
    The total of the order is honestly large and it won't be until May 4 that I won't be trying to buy:
    -UCS Millenium Falcon;
    -Ben Hut;
    -x2 Mandalorian Battle Packs;
    -Raider AT-ST;
    -Tantive IV (2019 version) and whatever awesome SW sets that help me qualify for the May 4th promos as I think those sets may fall just short of the threshold.

    @KungFuKenny - thanks for the info. I haven't seen it over here, and I can't find UK Bricklink sellers with it, so...

    @Lordmoral - I think an admin has merged the threads, and the reason was probably me updating the ones I participated in last (see last 4 posts by me). I didn't ask them to do that.

    Let me give LEGO one more chance with the order.

    Ok, so add that to my May list and that may be a hint that there may be more sets (Imperial Troop Transport as well Moff Gideon Tie with a great chance to have a lot Imperial Troops to add to our OT dioramas). It's a shame we get no speeder bike and that Mando is the same armor despite the fact that we know he has his jetpack with shiny Beskar armor at this point.
