We all do, brother.
Picked up this 38Ltr tub full of LEGO Friends/ Elves the other day for £25.
Unfortunately there are no instruction manuals, but I will be able to identify most of the sets via the mini-figure dolls & Bricklink, also this has to be the first bulk Lego pick-up I have had that is 100% LEGO, there is not 1 piece of "not Lego" in the whole tub 😁
They also had some 60 years of the lego brick sets at 50% off, which was nice. So I got them too.
And Lego Ludo, which was really too expensive, and definitely doesn't belong on this thread, but I was on a roll, so...
Incredible either way. Well, unless they're just empty boxes...
She wasn’t completely giving it away, but it was definitely priced in the realm of ‘kids used lego’ as opposed to ‘collectors item’. I don’t even recall what I paid for all of it now, but it was about BrickLink price for one of the smaller sets. We never did get them broken out to build with the grandson while he was here (the thought was that if we lost pieces building these, I’d be less worried than if they were ‘my’ sets) so they’re still sitting collecting our house dust to add on top of theirs.
SO today’s goal, as one of about 3 directions I need to go with my collection today, is to break them down, ensure no missing pieces, & see what I’ve actually got here, and just see how good of a deal this might’ve turned out to be. They’ll wind up in my collection for now, but can always be passed on to the grandsons if they get more into Batman & get a little older to actually play with these. We tried a 4+ Spider-Man set, which was a hit, but we’re probably still in the Duplo stages yet. LOL who knew the age ranges on the boxes aren’t completely random :D.
:P

Bumblepants: Yes, yes it was. Premium Spinach.
Mrs. Bumblepants: I guess it's cheaper than last year's premium carrots.
