Love the Shrimp Hidden side set, is that the Star Wars Unkar Plutt awning?, the Ninjago strider set, forge (as you mention), the temple of light large round piece on the back....any many more references to Ninjago.
However torrii's are usually not square, so they might look more elegant if using round bricks, like 3941 or 3062?
Did you look at how TLG has constructed torii's before? There's quite some in Ninjago, including in #30530, #70734, #70728, #2254 and #2507.
I could happily live without the pool sign lights as they are an addition.
The other outside side lights on the building add a nice ambiance and realism, so I would be sad to loose those.
The street lamp lamp I really do like and that is easily to hide the wire for.
Once I have enjoyed the lights for a bit, I might get brave and look at rejigging the wiring
Any chance that might also work with the Lighttailing kits? Or might at least be a starting point for you to DIY a fix?
Just finished building mine.
Really enjoyed putting it together, it's so well thought out.
My only complaint is that if there was ever a Lego set that deserved lashings of chrome, this is it.
Apart from that, whether your into bikes or not, I would heartily recommend it as it's a wonderful build and a great addition to any collection.
Here's a puzzle for you city planners/railroaders out there...how can I add 51 curved tracks & 1 straight track piece to this setup? Build out a "bump" on the bottom straightaway?
