Thanks Secret Santa.

I have wanted the mini castle set for a while now but haven’t had a chance to get to go anywhere that sells one so I will build that first.

I remember the other set from it’s review on brickset. It looks really cool as well and links into my like of cars and rare sets.

I have been after that fountain for a long time! Now I can modify my assembly square with it :D.
Naboo I have also been after to round out my series 6. It will go nicely with the original one.

The fudge is not pictured as I ate that last week to get me through work! It did not let long!

So my Secret Santa knows me well! With an impressive combination of cyber-sleuthing and intuition they combined my love for hard-to-find exclusives, Star Wars, and micro scale builds to get me the Tatooine Mini-Build from the Star Wars Celebration in 2015. Well done and many thanks, Santa!

That’s not good. I’m sitting on an unopened android phone today which is supposed to replace my aging iPhone. Compatibility is my main concern as I also have a MacBook. Want the Samsung largely for the superior camera, but no good if I can’t get the photos off the phone!

So many awesome gifts!

My Santa blessed me with 10 days worth of an older Star Wars advent calendar! So happy to get those as this was my first year to get a calendar. They also included some super fun block candy, a Santa poly bag and a totally awesome legoland train set! Can't wait to build!

I guess I'm just being lazy, as I'm used to just plugging in the phone with a cable and pulling photos off it and deleting them from the phone from my laptop. There's supposed to be an app (android file transfer or something like that), but it just freezes up and barely works for me. I could use something like FTPDroid, but then I have to go back and delete them from inside the phone (using the phone), so doing the work twice. I've meant to look for a different app to use, but it always slips my mind...

I am absolutely blown away by my gift!!! A long desired set on my Wanted List and an incredible Rebrickable MOC from It's a Wonderful Life with an exclusive Jimmy Stewart! Both vehicles will take places of honor in my winter village!

Couldn't wait to build this as I love the old Pharoh's Quest sets (a modern take on this sort of theme would be a must buy for me).

Thanks so much Secret Santa for these awesome presents! My son already claimed the Minecraft polybag and candy cane :)). I've been looking for the pelican polybag but can't find it in the stores here. I also love the Deep Sea creature set. SS, you truly made this Christmas extra special.

Wow. Completely blown away by my SS’s generosity! I’d gone through & added as many smalls as I could think of between GWP’s & Super Heroes that we didn’t have, hoping that I wouldn’t be a challenge for my SS to find something for. Today has been a very busy day. I mean, insanely busy! And so so so tired. But I managed to open my secret Santa gift, and lo and behold it's Marvel Super Heroes!

Ghost Spider is one of my favourite SM characters, and I love the mech versus mech idea, and the Venom mech head is awesome! I'll be building with my youngest tomorrow (it's after 3 am now, so probably not a good idea to wake him).

Thank you so much my Secret Santa, what a great gift and so generous! And thanks also to @kiki180703 @snowhitie and @stlux for organising us. You guys are great!

This is the story of how my mind got blown.

It all started very late on Christmas Eve when I decided it was time to open my presents. All the gifts had been residing safely in the shipping box since the day I took pictures of the unboxing. If the mood strikes me, there are no limits to the research I am willing to go through in order to figure out what lies behind the wrapper. I did not want to ruin the surprise for this.

The first surprise was the wrapping.

Not only is a Lego wrapping used, but my SS has taken the time to adorn the front of every single gift with stickers as well. I thought this was a lovely gesture and worth mentioning.

First up is #40187 Flower Display.

This set has been on my [email protected] wishlist for the longest time, but there is no chance that my SS could have known that... Or is it? *makes spooky noises* Anyway, this is some next-level stalking.

Next is #30408 Tulips.

Friends sets are always welcome with me. In fact, it was the Friends series that, after the Green Grocer and a few other select sets had planted the seed, pulled me by the hair screaming and kicking out of my Dark Age. Originally, I had wanted to collect every single set and minidoll, but I soon realised that TLG is capable of launching Friends sets faster than I can make money and I put that idea to rest.

And then there is this one, #41181 Naida's Gondola & the Goblin Thief.

God jul, indeed! If there ever was a top-of-the-list, fingers-crossed-since-signed-up-for-this set, it is this one, and I am very happy to have gotten it. I can guarantee you that it will be enjoyed! Thank you very much, and may you have a fortsatt god jul and godt nytt år!

I can mention that I am still kicking myself for missing out on most of the Elves series. I initially really liked them, but I feared TLG would spam them to the same extent as they did with Friends and so I did my best to just overlook them. Had I known back then that their release would be as limited as it was, I would have picked up the entire line. It was only when I heard news that the series were being cancelled and found a whole lot of sets on clearence that I seriously started collecting these.

Storytime over. Let us move on with #40106 Toy Workshop.

This was a surprise! When I read all of the cards first before opening, I initially thought that this one might just be Naida's Gondola. Imagine my surprise when I opened the one with Naida before this one.

But the biggest surprise came with #853791 Unikitty Hydration Bottle.

I knew that one of the gifts were round, and after some extensive research casual browsing on Brickset a few weeks ago, I learned that this set exists. Eager to confirm my long held suspicion and get the obvious one out of the way, I actually opened this one first.

Little did I know that I would find this inside of the bottle.

22 minidolls in various stages of completion and a cat! All either brand new or seemingly brand new!

This is the point where my mind blew, and it was only on the first gift I opened. Just the Unikitty bottle and the minidolls alone would make for a great gift, and yet, there were still four more amazing gifts included. Makes me kind of lost for words just thinking about it.

I like how all four main elves are included.

Farran is the only one that did not come in a bag. That particular Farran is also, from what I can tell, the only one of the minidolls I already own. (No, I do not mind duplicates at all.) Is that why he is the only one not bagged? Because of some attention to detail? Or am I overthinking this?

Secret Santa went far above and beyond my expectations. I had requested some Classic Space set or MOC because "blue, grey, and trans yellow runs in my veins." I received four wrapped gifts of various sizes.

Each package contained a Space delight: trans yellow tiles, the Galactic Bounty Hunter CMF, and the "modern Classic Space" satellite repair polybag.

Opening the largest package left me completely stunned. Inside was a 1985 complete in box WITH instructions 6805 Astro Dasher set in brilliant condition. I have not held a Classic Space set in 30 years and own maybe three from back then. This set and the other perfectly chosen gifts have truly brought me joy. Thank you.

And thanks to @stlux and the other organizers for creating and managing this fun event.

The Speed Champions and Star Wars are both right up my street, but boy am I a sucker for anything limited edition! The Jurassic World minifig set was a real surprise.

Ok, I finally have a moment to post the coolest gift I got this Christmas. Thank you so much Santa! I appreciated the origami wizardry that went into packing and wrapping the packages - impressive and beautiful! (Dear Santa, please don’t think for a minute that I missed how the first box was magically wrapped in a piece of paper most people could never fit around that box, let alone with diagonal designs that lined up, and those magical wrapping paper creative bags!)

So my gift was an MOC creation either from Santa or a credited friend, and came in 5 sequential packages to open. The first revealed instructions by the creator, and each following bag an ‘individual brick’ to build with enclosed pieces, a base 1x6 black, and three, two-studs with a classic space logo! They are each stackable, buildable, and these pictures will not do it justice; I tried to take good ones. My son is so jealous, as seen handling it in one pic. I absolutely love this gift. It was so fun to build and loved the creator’s attention to detail. I appreciate it and the organizers so very much. I can’t wait for next year. Thank you so much Santa, for all the thoughtful time and effort - whoever you are! It makes me crazy to not know! May my gratitude return to you somehow!

Thank you, thank you SO MUCH Secret Santa!! I am sooo thrilled with everything! I can’t even get the polys anywhere local to me, and I LOVE Hidden Side - I didn’t have the Graveyard set so I was so excited to see it when I opened the wrapping paper. (I may have jumped up & down and squealed a bit!!!). And the Snickers & Santa are such thoughtful extra treats!
Now to see if Belgian Snickers taste the same as Irish ones....for science of course!

Unfortunately Santa attempted to deliver my presents a couple of days before the big night but, alas, no-one was home to feed the reindeer or take possession of said gifts. The parcel sat, alone, but not unwanted... in a drafty depot where Mail of the Royal variety awaits before being re-distributed to intended recipient!

And lo, so it was, that on 27th December (also known as "The Day After Boxing Day", also known as "The Day That is Today"), aforementioned gifts were united with aforementioned intended recipient and it was glorious!!

The receptical, whose origins were of a cardboard nature, was hastily - but carefully - slit open and 'twas greeted by such a bounty (well, a Double Decker, if truth be told):

In short shrift, the prismatic paper was torn asunder and the contents laid bear for all to see:

My rather vague gift ideas along the lines of "Dragons and beasties and promo items" allowed Santa to show his creativity and Sleuthing skills (I vaguely recall mentioning Double Deckers be amongst my favourite choccies!). The Dragon will be my first build of 2020!!

Thank you, secret santa for the super fun LEGO magazines and mini-builds!!! The kids have torn everything asunder already, but, heck, its LEGO, so its all good.

And, special thanks for the tasty chocolate treat included as a bonus!!!! Lesson learned for next year - LEGO Secret Santa = LEGO + Chocolate!!!

After a few days away visiting with family, the first thing I did when returning home was open my Brickset presents. Thank you, Secret Santa, for the wonderful LEGO gifts, as well as the candy treat--I love anything mint chocolate!
