  After much reassurance by @stlux that my gift was on the way and anxious waiting on my part, Santa's helper delivered a package last night! 
  
  Thank you for the handwritten note by Santa! The note had the words, "There can always be joy!" 
  
  I appreciate these words more than my Santa will ever know! 6 weeks ago my mother suffered cardiac arrest. She was technically dead for 6 minutes before paramedics were able to get her heart going again. It stopped two more times before she stabilized. 11 days later, she walked out of the hospital on her own strength to head home. 
  
  She came home the day before Thanksgiving. Needless to say, it was the best Thanksgiving ever! Joy has defined my life every since she opened get eyes the first time and will continue to define how I see this world. This will easily be the best Christmas ever too! Thank God in heaven for his miracle!!!

  A package arrived today! Thanks secret santa! I saw some of you mention your significant others reactions. I havent participated before, so my wife was mostly confused and then called me a nerd after I explained this isnt from some secret admirer. She isn't wrong :)

  Hallelujah!  3 separate rattling US postal service envelopes arrived in the last couple of days.  When the wife said they needed Christmasy wrapping I think she meant to match the other presents under the tree.  I, however, felt obligated to make my SS gifts stand apart from the humdrum monotony of matching paper...
  
  

  Needless to say she was slightly annoyed and my kids rolled their eyes at the lame “Beary Christmas” pun, so mission accomplished!

  2 more packages were delivered yesterday, leaving just 3 US/CA participants waiting for their gift. Tracking information shows all 3 very close to their destination, so fingers crossed they all manage to make the last mile to their recipients today!
  
  I'm very grateful for the wonderful community on this forum - this is the only way there is Lego for me under the tree 🤗

  I've managed to be patient, but now the anticipation is starting to build. I'm usually really good at guessing sets based on the box size and shape, but my Santa has completely bamboozled me! I suppose that means they've done a good job...

  I wrote down a list of guesses for the gifts I received.  An extra challenge for myself to hold me over till it's time to open!

  Excitement has been slowly building.  Now that a bunch of presents have been wrapped and under the tree, the ones my Secret Santa have sent are standing out (I kept them in the original packaging for fear of something not being wrapped).  They might be the first things I open tomorrow.  Merry Christmas eve, everyone!

  I opened my first present, and it was a yellow 1x1 storage brick. I was like "yay - a storage brick" but my wife exclaimed "it has Brainslugged written on it!" I didn't know what she was talking about till I turned it round and saw something that totally blew my mind with its awesomeness:
  
  But then I opened it, and found four more wrapped presents inside it!
  
  I'm just worried that Santa dropped off the wrong box as I'm sure I haven't been this good in 2019:
  
  My Secret Santa even included my little girls in on the fun as the package with the chocolate and Friends polybags was addressed to them. And on top of this pile, there's also the two baubles that we'd previously opened.
  
  The finishing touch was the handmade card and gift labels. I wasn't 100% sure they were handmade until I noticed the matching font on the card and the storage box.
  
  What an amazing pile of gifts! Thank you, thank you, thank you Secret Santa. You have been so generous and brought some real excitement, happiness and thoughtfulness into our home. We are all very grateful.
  
  Merry Christmas to every Bricksetter around the world!!!!!

  Taking a break between flipping the turkey over and starting the veg to unwrap our SS presents.

  

  I'm hoping the flaming burger is not a premonition of my cooking skills! Looks like a cool set and my first fire engine since the 1980s! Little Miss Speedy was very pleased with her Friends. And the two Lego house polys are brilliant, I really need to get there next year. Feel very spoilt by our SS, thank you.

  My Santa did some fantastic stalking! Opening the smaller package revealed two S19 figures, one of which was the Galactic Bounty Hunter (who was my most wanted of the series). Then the strange roll that had me very confused turned out to be a bundle of polys! I mentioned that I had no Lego Santa of any sort. Problem solved! My nostalgia itch has been scratched by the Atlantis poly. I loved that theme so much, yet somehow not a single figure or set made it to present day, so this set is VERY welcome. Good ol' Lance. :) The R2 poly was one I drooled over for awhile, but never got for some reason. The final unwrapping revealed the set that had my brain spinning and I must say, I was very surprised (in the best way) to see that Creator set! It will fit perfectly with my modulars. Some sweets added the final touch. Dang Santa, you rock!

  We could do a survey about the popularity of certain poly bags and other small sets sent by Santa's all over the world. Seems like an appropriate job for @SumoLego although I'm afraid he is just too busy pixel spying this whole thread :-)
