    Never ever before have I done so much at once, even on a Black Friday!  Haven’t even pulled anything out of 2 of the 3 bags already.  

    #76139 - normally I’m more of a Marvel guy, but this model looks seriously awesome!  A trip to Chinook was in order close to opening, since of course the LEGO site was non functional.

    #40433 - ok I might’ve bought the above in part because of it’s awesome GWP which I didn’t expect to last past Black Friday.  

    #71044 - the set my wife wanted most to go with our #71040.  I’d actually bought it earlier this month, not expecting such a steep Black Friday discount.  Thankfully the LEGO store was awesome about doing a return & repurchase to make sure I had credit enough to go towards the above.

    #76119 - I’d wanted to build this to compare with the GWP and it was kinda an impulse buy given it wasn’t on sale with any particular immediate need to purchase.

    #76137 - Given it was a Batmobile day, one day when I bust out #76119 above to build, the Grandson & I will do this one.  He’s learning & getting better at building, but given he’s almost 3, anything more difficult is a bit much yet.

    #70831 - As a 4 sided house with a vintage town vibe, I’d wanted to add this one to my city, but it always seemed there were higher priorities.  At 30% off & retiring soon, it was probably now or never.

    #40367 - impulse buy close to the cashier, on sale, and gave enough to get another Christmas tree, which I didn’t need.

    #40338 - I ended up with 3 of these, and I never get multiple GWP’s.  So should trade 2 off.  

    Surfer Van - as above, I also ended up with 3 of these.

    Is it wierd that I'm genuinely excited that you finally got Emmett's house? You commented on it several times over the past few months, and now you get to build it! It's a freaking perfect little house build! :D

    ^ not weird at all. We e talked over it a few times this year I just always found something else to pull the trigger on instead. Not missing out on it this time.

    I know that feeling. I still have three sets from this year that I really want, but there is always something newer and shinier that I end up grabbing. One day, Steamboat Willie will indeed sail by a treehouse on it's way to see a giant t-rex in my basement... but likely not before I snap up the second wave of Hidden Side due next month, hahaha.

    You'll have to share pics when you find a place for Emmet's house in your Lego city! :D

    I'll start your descent. That X -Wing you bought comes with tiles and stickers to make Red 5 or Red 3. I bought two of them so I can display Luke in one and Biggs in the other.

    I already had 2 other X-wings (Poe and an older set), so I was a good boy and just set up a small display for Biggs and the Red 3 tiles that sits under the X-Wing set up as Red 5. But it was REALLY tempting.

    Actually, the stickers are for Red 5 and Red 2. Red 3 is Wedge Antilles. Which is why I bought a third copy of #75218 last Wednesday for $30 off RRP, so Luke, Biggs, and Wedge can fly together.

    Red 3 is definitely Biggs Darklighter, and the set is right in front of me. 3 stripes on the wing tiles. Wedge is Red Two in ANH and Red Leader in RotJ.

    @autolycus you're right- I didn't look closely enough! I'd trimmed the stickers for my 2nd X-Wing to be Red 2 and Red 4.

    Right? I like Star Wars well enough, but it was always an extremely exhaustive hobby for me, even as a child. I left all of my figures and ships with my kid brother when I moved out and have never bought another Star Wars 'collectible' since. It's just a hole I don't wish to go down again.
    I avoid Star Wars sets like the disease that they are. They almost always intrigue me (the Jabba the Hutt palace and barge sets always test my resolve), but I know that buying that first one will end me. Hahaha.

    I have bought like 10 star wars sets or so since the end of my dark age in 2014 I think, and only one of them is UCS. so that works if you aren't a huge star wars fan.

    Is it wrong that, especially after my Black Friday haul, that I can get excited over finding a single poly bag in my visit to Walmart today?  Not sure I needed to buy anything more lol.  But This has been completely non-existent on store shelves here since it came out.  Looks like they ordered a bunch of all different poly bags to have for Christmas impulse stocking purchasing.  LOL now I’m wondering, given this was on my want list, if it made my secret Santa gift & I might wind up with 2.

    Now that’s an awesome idea I might just have to try!  Perfect addition to our village, which I didn’t even put up this year.  

    And yes, thankfully I feel much less guilty now about my Black Friday haul!

    And yes, those blue/black items count as Lego - they are Lego Education storage boxes with trays.
    There's 1 non-Lego set: a modular of the Ronald McDonald House. As it's by Lego Certified Professional Dirk Denoyelle, I think it counts.
    Not pictured: a couple 1000s loose bricks, and some small sets I have already build.

    November was a good Lego month thanks to all the great promotions, at least here in BE/LU 😁
    Where do you work and can I have a job there?

    I didn’t mention earlier, but that is a tremendous and jaw-dropping haul!  You may need to take an extended leave of absence from work just to make a dent in building them all.  Interestingly, of all the sets shown, the ones that caught my eye were the JW Duplo sets (which I also just purchased on Amazon at a great discount) and this set, which looks like a GWP of some sort ...was it from the Amsterdam store opening or something similar?

    Of your whole pile I think that is the one I covet the most!

    ^ after seeing how fast the other recents GWPs went I may stay up late tomorrow night.  Then I can order at midnight when the promotion goes live (or is that hopelessly optimistic? )

    There's been a few times in the last couple months were the new offerings went live at 10pm mountain for me. so that's when I'm gonna give it a look.

    Any upcoming double vip offerings that anyone knows about?

    @panchox1, other's may have more insight, but they just ran a x2 VIP event. From my recollection of previous years, this tends to be the final one of the year. The usually run one in February-ish when the yearly modular is released I believe? 

    Sorry I'm not giving super firm information, but it's the best I have right now.

    Got into work a bit early and while waiting for the coffee machine to do its thing accidentally bought #75254 on a whim. I love an AT-ST and wanted the Mandalorian minifigure, could probably have BL him at some point, but wheres the fun in that!

    haha! no joke. I have one unopened and one on the way. I had planned that purchase before they dropped the update and the new ghosts. Only needing the bus and the school now. The school is low on the want list but I need that haunted/Gloomed port a potty! lol.

    As hyped as I am to play the new levels for the sets that come out December 27, I kinda hope they don't add them until after this event. Playing every set, every day is already getting tedious.

    Got my 1st promotional item (scarecrow). Feel all warm and fuzzy. There were also Frozen2 one, but I chose the scarecrow for being more suitable for Ron and Harry (awesome broomsticks).

    My Black Friday order finally arrived (luckily no box damage either! )...
    I ordered 10 random TLM2 CMFs and amazingly (to me anyway) there were no duplicates.  Even better, 7 of the 10 were ones I still needed... (I will probably trade out the others). 

    All in all a good Lego day, and hopefully I will score the Gingerbread House plus promo at the local Lego store tomorrow — after that I am done shopping (fingers crossed for no more irresistible promos!)

    Perhaps they can add the Batmobile Promo to the Gingerbread House and the Gingerbread House Promo to the Batmobile.

    Finally won #60059 the City logging truck from a couple of years ago. £20 with postage, so not too horrendous. I'll go nicely with the cargo train I've built with three logging wagons.
    Ebay package arrived yesterday and my 100% complete set, was missing three or four parts including the end fences from the load area and had four parts supplied in different colours to this in the set. Its not a massive problem, but its certainly not 100% complete, plus it looked like a set that had sat on a shelf gathering dust for several months. I'd at least give a dust first!
