Star Wars and City advent calendars are 20% off on line at walmart....which falls in line with everything at retail is 20% at some point. But $32.82 for the Star Wars one you dont see much cheaper before Christmas

At WalMart in Roseville, MN Saturday I found the new Overwatch set, #75976 Wrecking Ball. It was just $16, so I bought it. And I am the first person to list it as "owned" on Brickset! :)

Uh, are the new Star Wars sets released on Friday already supposed to be discounted? I got the AT-ST Raider set for exactly $40 at a Wal-Mart in Northeast Houston, TX today. Looking at Amazon now, I see it is already marked down to $40 there. Instantaneous price match?

It's an absolutely fantastic deal at $70. I felt that I got all my money's worth when I purchased it at full price a couple years back.

When it went back on sale at $80 last week, I had my mom pick up one for herself. It'll be her first large creator expert vehicle too and I know she's going to love it.

The Creator Expert Vehicles line was not a rabbit hole I wanted to fall into but I couldn't resist the Mustang and now, I go the Beetle to go with it...I think I'm in trouble!

She's not at all. Happens nearly every year. It's a bulk brick box, not a traditional "set" with minifigures. I got a ton last year for $10 and donated them to my daughters school to sell as a fundraiser. The $10 was a random markdown at two stores. $20 - $25 is the norm.

Like @pharmjod said, they have massive deals for Black Friday on at least one bulk brick box usually, but for my area getting a ton would be nearly impossible :P There can be a huge amount of competition depending on your store location and other LEGO fans in your areas. I wasn't super vigilant about getting it last year, but I wasn't totally lax either, and I had no chance at all ;_;

I used to go to the local stores and get frustrated that I couldn't get one of the
Black Friday bulk boxes. Then I figured out 2 years ago that you can get them online. They limit you to 1 box, but I ordered 2 and they both came. MUCH easier that way, and no annoying Black Friday shopping to deal with.

WM near me has S19 CMF but I still haven't gotten around to looking up an indentification guide and values

Some 20% rollbacks including #60234, I love the people packs and rarely see them lower

Not too much of a rush on Thanksgiving for LEGO in my area.
My favorite NFL team is playing that afternoon but I'm not worried about not rushing to the store.
I still haven't gotten around to sorting everything I got last year, hopefully I can clear space in the next month

Below is my walmart process, hope it helps someone.

Limit 1 online..... Place multiple orders :? And after they start cancelling your orders, order more from another account :)

Toy clearance starts within the first 3 weeks of January (at least in VA). My money is by January 13th of 2020. Start by checking your local walmart daily to see when they setup the clearance tables. Once one walmart has clearance out, check a few more stores. Look at the clearance price stickers, they'll have a date to tell you how early or late you are. Not all walmarts run the same clearance schedules or items but typically walmarts close to each other will be similar. Prices ending in .00 (ie. 15.00) is bottom dollar.

Download the walmart app. Not only for a price scanner, but to compare prices at other walmarts.

When you do find a clearance item at a good price and you want more items.... go to sporting goods and scan the item on their cash register (if an employee is there ask them to scan it for you or if it's vacant just scan the item.) Their screen will show the inventory level at the store. If you see an high # search the shelves again and/or ask someone to check in the back for more inventory :)

Hidden items, good deals tend to hide. Selfie stick is awesome for checking the top shelf and under the bottom.

Walmart may setup toy clearances in multiple locations within the store. Typically I see them at the main entrance (on home/living side), in front of the toy aisles and possibility an entire aisle mix with toys and other items. Look for the yellow balloons or ask a store employee.

My yearly walmart run takes 3 days, I hit 35 stores last year and plan to add 5 more this year, about 800 miles in travel. Also a lot of fun.

#30571 Pelican polybag rang up at $2 even - I was pleased since I had missed it earlier this year. BTW I’m really enjoying the price scan feature on the Walmart app— don’t know why it took me so long to find out about it but it sure beats lugging sets around trying to find a scanner or employee to check prices

The #10701 xtra large baseplates are/were online for 7.99.

CMF 19 and Disney series 2 are being sold by the box on s@h so guessing they made a lot of those. As the CMFs are rumored to rise in price (cannot recall if that is confirmed) I feel more people will be waiting for the figures to be discounted.
