Keeping it related to LEGO at least: my two boys' (six and nine) "playing voice" is with a Dutch accent.
When playing with minifigs they allways use some sort of Dutch accent to let the figs talk to each other. The Ninjago TV series had some test runs with Flemish dubs initially but the series has been Dutch-only for years now. At least the LEGO movies do get a proper Flemish voice-over. I also blame Cartoon Network.
Screen time is severely restricted for both BTW.
Anyone who will attend? My 10:00 appointment has been cancelled (not by me...), so I'll probably be there for a little while.
You do need Fun's (free) loyalty card, there's a 50 € minimum purchase and the offer is not valid on "Fun Stunt" promo's. However, some of their prices are below RRP, the offer typically does stack with ordinary promo's and Fun does carry larger and rarer sets so some sets can reach a lowest ever with an additional 20% off.
Many staffers from Leicester Square and other branches to help the start. PaBwall pretty small, 10 bins wide. All the action around openingsrebates etc will be in November.
did manage to drop my PaB-container, though, although not as bad as someone else a little later. Some Nice ppl helped clean up, thanks might you be reading along.
didn’t see any BSers there, unfortunately.
did i already say it was really hot in the store? Oh, one good thing, PaB costs the same as in Germany (9,99/17,99), I was expecting the BeNeLuxtax to be applied here. The (UK) storemanager almost sold it to me for the LeicesterSquare price. 😊
Would it be a good idea to start a combined BaM/PaB thread for the Dutch/Belgian stores, by the way?
Still no word or sign of my order, a week after they said it would probably ship...
Any news on your end @TheBigLegoski?
The ToyChamp store was also nicely stocked. Did not get anything myself, as my order from A-Tembo had just come in...
Afterwards we walked to the LEGO Store in Hoog Catharijne. It was bloody hot in there, as there were lots of people, most of them coming from the Jaarbeurs as well, having the "goodie bag" with them (which was a bit disappointing, but gift horse etc.. ;-))
We both built our own minifigs, so got some nice parts out of the BAM stand. The PAB wall looked good as well, did not get a good look due to the amount of people there. Also did not get the Utrecht tile, as it will be handed out during the official opening...
Apart from this, there is lots of news about the opening in Amsterdam:
So also a free tile and a free Windmill for VIP's when you buy over 75 Euro...
Too bad I will not be able to go, as my second child will be born around that time. So if anyone manages to snag up an extra windmill, consider me interested. ;-)
Small wtf the moment you spot the Yoda set in page 56 :O :O

I'm trying to be there 29/11 - anyone else? Maybe a little BSF-meet?
You get a voucher for 100% of the purchase price when buying one of the following sets:
At least their webserver will be happy.
I guess if you have one nearby it can't hurt to look.
Anyone has details when the shop in Brussels will be open? I passed by today, logo already in the door :D
No exclusive tile / figurine. (they have said will be for later most likely). Looked like a soft opening, not promoted anywhere
(sorry, i just wrote super quick msg as i had to go back to work after comingfrom the shop)
