After a slight panic when the SW advent calendar went out of stock at [email protected], I was in London and managed to nab one in Leicester Square today. Got given a couple of the Captain Marvel posters that were behind the tills.

In the midst of driving all over the Eastern half of the US and getting Lego passport stamps with the kids when possible. AL, GA, NC all in the books and hit Potomac Mills near DC today. They had the 1/4 curve tiles in teal so that was enough to prompt a cup filling.

Got the parts to improve Casey Jr, working on that and designing a circus tent for it. 140 supporters isn't the best, but it's better than 0, so I'm fortunate, and blessed to have that many. Been on a Technic buildiding kick lately, as I never understood Technic as a kid, wanted to, and I figure the gears and things can go into future animated models. Still trying to pursue the dream on designig a set, Lord willing.

Evening all. Just completed collecting all the 2019 LEGO Space sets, with #40345 Mars Exploration Minifigure Pack and #60229 Rocket Assembly &Transport turning up today. Got double VIP and also the free #40336 Newbury Juice Bar, which is a fun little set with some nice pieces.

Looking forward to building them all together. :-)

With Halloween now behind us, it's time to start thinking about Christmas. Or at least this forum's Secret Santa!

Last day to throw your name in Santa's hat and join the fun!
Santa's little helpers are on standby to help you choose a gift for your Santee and to arrange transport!

Are those Custom Prints or am I missing a Unikitty set?

Wet and windy day here, lazing on the sofa watching a program about road hauling trains around the country. Little Miss snuggles in to watch and after a few minutes exclaims
"we haven't built a lego train set for ages"
Lounge floor is now taken over by a huge L shaped loop with a partial inner loop and a multi siding goods yard. Both cargo trains are buzzing around and once she's gone to bed I'll get the shattered remains of the WV train rebuilt and running.

Sorting, planning Christmas stuff. Still working on suggesting people look at Casey Jr., so I have a feeling he's going to haul the WV Train this year, and various other things will happen....

Debating whether to get: Ideas Fossils, Shrimp Shack and x12 BURPS from LEGO this week or wait for Black Friday offers.....
Edit: not interested in any Christmas related GWP but the parts can go to the rebuilding plate.

I like the use of the trans blue 1x1 rounds for Marge's hair instead of just using plain blue @KungFuKenny!

Yeah, I was trying to make it shiny like the minifig and also accentuate the bumpiness of the hairdo...

Custom prints. I'm generally not into custom printed Lego, but am unable to resist temptation when I see a custom Unikitty... (Or any Unikitty really)

These Santa and Rudolph Unikitties were obtained from BrickSanity and CrayonBricks, but neither have these available anymore.

On a different note I just wanted to plug the Build to Give campaign which starts today -  links below give details but the short version is that Lego will donate up to 1,000,000 sets to kids in hospitals, underprivileged kids, foster-care settings etc... This year's partner charities include Toys for Tots, Caritas, Fairy Bricks, Save the Children, Make-a-Wish, and many more.

From the website "Visit a participating store or use your LEGO® bricks at home to build a fun holiday ornament. Display it in-store or share it online with #BuildtoGive. For every ornament built and shared, we will donate a LEGO set to a child in need of play."

Got 60226 and 75891 today and plan on getting 70419 and possibly 70422 when Canadian Tire gets their Hidden Side sets on the shelves.

Any fellow Canucks, any idea when Walmart started selling Speed Champions because today is the first time I've seen any there?

The level of detail in central perk is impressive, maybe even better than in modulars.

@TheOriginalSimonB I'm with on that one! Lego blew the previous ones out of the water with these new sets.

I made a few BL purchases last night and have an odd sense of guilt this morning. I feel like my hobby has maybe reached an interesting tipping point. The funny thing is, my purchases weren't anything crazy. The money had already been set aside and budgeted for Lego. But still...it's a VERY different feeling than I've experienced before after a purchase.

Anyone else ever run into this?

It could be seasonal? I know that at this time of year I do tend to feel a bit of guilt when spending on myself, knowing that there are pricier things on my Christmas list that I need to spend on. Even the little personal buys feel a bit selfish, as it could overlap with someone's shopping on my behalf (I literally devastated my kid brother one time, having purchased an action figure I'd been hunting for that he had been so proud to have found for me).

I wish LEGO had done Toy Story Brickheadz. I was hoping for an official Buzz and Woody, (and maybe Rex, like my avatar,(he's my favorite Pixar character.) Hopefully one day, they'll do a runnable Casey Jr., like mine, (read:hopefully they'll do mine, and it hits 10K.) and I'd love a small Disney places series to scale with the Beast's Castle minibuild from a few years ago, that I bought. They did a small Cinderella's Castle years ago, missed it. I hope to see a Speed Champions Chevy next year. (Or maybe one in Expert?)Oh, and  doing some sorting. I wish I'd been more organized..

The last picture I recall seeing of @sumolego he had his wife's scarf wrapped around his head and looked like Kylo Ren. Last Halloween perhaps?

At least that Sumo didn't jump out of the van suddenly...

I finally got around to looking up an identification guide for CMF s19 which included taking a closer look at the figures in the set.

I already knew my LEGO food and especially LEGO pizza junkie would want that guy but:
As a dog person I'll probably go for Dog Sitter as well
I've done medieval army building with CMFs before, not sure if I'll go for Fright Knight
The mountain biker is another maybe
Perhaps Mummy Queen to go with an Ancient Egypt model I have somewhere

Monkey King is highest value so would go for him as a chase figure

I've seen @SumoLego in the suit before, I figured that because as a lawyer he might be on his way to/from court or something. It is weird in a good way discussing in real life what you normally talk about only in online fan groups.
