Happy Halloween everyone. :)
I had to go to BrickLink to get enough orange bricks to make 2 of these pumpkins...
(I used the design available on the LEGO House site here, and this one on Rebrickable.)
It was easy to add a LED tealight candle in both, and I then added some more lights to other parts of my display:
Pretty happy how this low-budget/effort looks in a completely dark room:
Happy Halloween everybody!
As for me, late posting my Halloween pic... oh well :)
Last day to throw your name in Santa's hat and join the fun!
Santa's little helpers are on standby to help you choose a gift for your Santee and to arrange transport!
Looking forward to building them all together. :-)
Oh, for just a #10210 Imperial Flagship, #70413 The Brick Bounty and a #6243 Brickbeard's Bounty! ;-)
Edit: not interested in any Christmas related GWP but the parts can go to the rebuilding plate.
These Santa and Rudolph Unikitties were obtained from BrickSanity and CrayonBricks, but neither have these available anymore.

Any fellow Canucks, any idea when Walmart started selling Speed Champions because today is the first time I've seen any there?
The past few years have been spent studying and learning everything that I can to get a degree in industrial design and I certainly feel like a part of this journey has been building up to this moment.
Now it is just a matter of waiting to hear back from them. Fingers crossed!
5005584. LEGO House exclusive. :(
Anyone else ever run into this?

However - I made a point to set aside some extra Nexo Knights and Ninjago Movie keychains for a fellow Bricksetter - as a surprise. However, I can't remember who it is. So... if I was chit-chatting with you about a trade, and you happen to have Nexo Knights and/or Ninjago Movie keychains on your 'wants' list... please let me know.
Just so I know this isn't the final straw in my descent into permanent confusion.
Thanks!
I’m really pleased with the result- looks sufficiently menacing and not too expensive either. Now I have to decide whether or not to pursue the Arvo Brothers version, which has been tempting me ever since @TheFew mentioned it to me a while back...sigh... back to BL soon I suspect...
In the meantime I put together a display for my LEGO House 6-brick combo cards:
I used the template of #5005747 Black Card Display Stand - the inspiration for card displays is at least something good that came out of the Black VIP fiasco.
This one is "modular", so I can easily expand it with cards from future visits.
The combo's of my 2 recent visits are obscured as guessing those is part of this week's Bonusball.
I love the display!
"No, no drugs. But the guy in the suit gave three humongous boxes to the guy in the mini-van. Do we need to call the police?"
Anyway, always happy to meet another Bricksetter, and very, very relieved to save on shipping.
(Wow, that photo came out much better than I expected!)
And yes, I wear a fancy suit to all of my LEGO exchanges. Only because my audacious samurai helmet doesn't fit in the truck.
By coincidence I also received some Lego from @SumoLego tonight... it’s like Secret Santa came early! Although my dogs seem less than enthusiastic - they were hoping for chew toys I believe...
Looks like I will need to visit the tailor before my next trade with him though...
The last picture I recall seeing of @sumolego he had his wife's scarf wrapped around his head and looked like Kylo Ren. Last Halloween perhaps?
At least that Sumo didn't jump out of the van suddenly...
If he had a round head made of plastic.
