Kidding...
I don't want to see more Toy Story stuff, tbh. I passed on most of the last wave, grabbing only two of the sets. I was just hoping for lLuca and/or Alberto sea monster minifigs.
Makes me wonder if the internal franchise costs for LEGO merchandise is far costlier than we know. And if the folks at Pixar are shy about pushing LEGO merch for each project.
Also we didn't even get Frozen sets until it had been out almost a year and was a proven mega hit.
I think Toy Story is the only Pixar movie translated to LEGO.
Edit: and Cars.
...and The Incredibles 2...
Admittedly it was released 1.5 years after the movie, but still.
So only Toy Story, Cars, Brave and The Incredibles got general release sets, and WALL-E got one through Ideas. That's less than a third of Pixar movies/franchises.
Nemo was a huge success and had no LEGO. Maybe it's not only success but also playability? I can't imagine LEGO doing cute Nemo sets back in the day...
Disappointing.
-Slides box into storage tote with Galidor, Clikits and Primo-
One of the few moderately/high priced sets in stock at [email protected], and local LEGO Stores.
I happen to like the set, but seems to be in the sweet-spot of too-expensive and light demand...
