Meanwhile, in Odeinoichus land, the great disassembly for storage project is nearly done. I have officially disassembled over half of my LEGO Collection in storage for better use of space, my entire Kre-O collection minus the Enterprise which I'm still unsure if I want to disassemble or leave on the limited shelving space for display and my complete Mega Construx collection minus the Classic TMNT stuff. I'm getting a nice looking display case for my desk at work so I can put them there without fear of goofing off by playing with toys at work. ;)
All in all I have reduced my space needs for my LEGO quite nicely. Now if I can just get a dedicated display room before I hit 40 maybe I'll have a Great Rebuilding Project come this time in three years. :D
Looks great! Did you put those together yourself or find a kit?
Also, should I try to read anything into the relative order in which you have placed the cities? 😀
Not sure what this means... a return to Fabuland? A new human-Chima mashup? I’m also confused...
Sometimes there just isn't a mug big enough for the amount of soothing one needs from a cup of tea but that one the lion is holding might just do it. (Especially after trying (and failing) to be able to use the LEGO website - yet again - since early July).
All weekend I’ve been having lots of fun posing them in “non-traditional” vignettes...
Rather pleased as the ball joints move better, and stay attached better. Just need more potential supporters to understand that logging in and clicking support means more than linking on some other website.
Have you thought about marketing your idea to groups outside of the Lego community? It will be hard to garner 10,000 votes from sites like Brickset and Eurobricks alone. For someone to support this project they would need to be a train fan and/or a Dumbo/Disneyland fan. Lot's of projects get big pushes of support from fan groups and blogs that feature them. You might look at Disneyland (and Disney in general) fan forums, model train sites, etc... Just a cursory search pulled up several ideas

Best of luck with your project!
We tiled the floor near the coffee shop and burger place with a coffee cup and burger/chips.
He`s at a great age now with his creativity! Loving all the different ideas he is bringing.
We had a great weekend too, visiting @stlux and mrsstlux, inspecting their Lego, chatting, having some great food and generally having a lovely weekend. I've made some nice friendships thanks to this forum. I do sometimes wonder at the internet (especially the hatred and bile that social media seems to create) but it's also important to acknowledge the very positive side where people who initially just have Lego as a link, end up sharing much more. So big cheer for Brickset (and it's creator @Huw) and the lovely people who are on it!
Just read an interesting article/designer interview on the LAN about the role of Ultrakatty in the genesis of the 1x5x2 brick...

On the tour you visit it on the first day and get a little "Lego Idea House" minifigure, so it's a nice link. :)
I guess I need to brainstorm an MOC that requires an army of Dales now...
