Have fun Tomong and good luck to all those on the tour next week, say a big hi to the LEGO family (Astrid, Line, Mike, Stuart...)
I agree with the comment that June tour should see the newer sets and buy them but I still wouldn't swap having been on the first one in May.. but I totally understand... Just having to pay full price for those new sets instead.
Finally booked my trip in September :D
Since Legoland is closed several days during the week, I decided to arrive on Sunday and go there on Monday. I am sure I find something to do on Tuesday as well ;) I found a cheap hotel outside Billund that cost the same for 3 nights as the ones in Billund cost for 1 night, so I stay there before the tour start. Since everyone is complaining how difficult it is to bring all the Lego in the suitcases on the airplane I am coming by car, so the short distance from Billund is no problem ;)
I wish everyone going next week a fabulous stay :)
Surprisingly, LEGO has published the instructions on its server already but I'm not going to provide a link yet...
I was there so can confirm that the embargo on "the set" lifts at 11am UK time (noon CET) on 14th June, which is the exact time the 2nd tour will have just been given their set with the big reveal - tada..
My impression was they've shortened as the longer the embargo the more likely to leak.
And, yes, they are still there but not linked to on the BI portal so you need to know the 7-digit number of the instructions to find them.
I would love to see the resolution LEGO has achieved on the printed part and how it looks against the molded pieces.
This also opens up a whole realm of other interesting opportunities. I can't imagine it will be very widely used at any point in the near future, but eventually, 3D plastic printing could get close to the quality of a standard molded part.
Can't wait to get mine in September. I will not be selling mine. :D As a fan of modular buildings I'm looking forward to integrating it into my street!
Unfortunately I personally know the person selling theirs...
and they were lovely people too on the tour.
Nice to finally be able to talk about the set. I din't even show it to family and friends. Not even my kids. Guess I CAN keep secrets ;-)
"one to open, one to keep sealed and one just in case"...
I'm planning to bring some 40358: Bean There, Donut That , 4620157: Target Bullseye Gift Card 2010 and 4659758: Target Bullseye Gift Card 2011 sets for trading. My preference is to trade for something else unique to other regions or events. Send me a PM if you would like to prearrange a trade.

Have anyone on the inside tour the last coupe of years meet Lego designer Nicholas Groves?
Rediscovered now that he has made some incredible sets like 10193 Medieval Market Village and 7189 Mill Village Raid in addition to;
If he still works there I guess he has been promoted from designer because civilian castle sets packed with new animal moulds have been sorely missing from the line up the last few years..
Is this a good spot to look for rare animals?
If it is only possible to buy 2 packs I guess that is not much point..
Do anyone know if those also fall under the maximum 2 rule or if they are a exception? One could argue that 16 (or more) in a series is different so one should be aloud to buy 32 loose figs :P
I only plan on getting 3-4 from the Lego movie series that's why I am asking ;)
I know this is a long shot but if anyone has a little extra room in their suitcases and is feeling extra generous, could someone pick up one of each for me? I collect the Architecture stuff and it'd be cool to have those in my collection.
If anyone can help, please PM me. I'd greatly appreciate any help.
It didn't in May
all stock was current plus addition of a handful of very recent retired small sets on "sale" and I mean a handful plus GWP's plus Lego Gear, stationery etc. they did have things left from promotions such as Bricktober minifigure packs / GWP (eg. battle of hoth, avengers tower). but nothing i'd call both retired and hard to find.
Just a couple of weeks to go until I depart on my Sept tour and I’m getting quite excited. I’ve started compiling a list of all the exclusives I’m gonna need to buy!
I think I might need to bring a second bag...

Any other takers? Almost time to pack!
I will be in Billund a few days in advance and are planning on visiting Legoland on Monday (since it is not open every day) if someone wants to join me :)
I have a lot of extra new series 18 figs and have read that is possible to change figs there. Is it worth bringing some to swap or is it mostly worn used minifigs from sets?
Do the P-shop have sets on sale like Lego@home? Lego retire old sets several times a year and sell them with a discount, do this also apply to the P-shop then?
I guess the most likely answer is no, they just sell them out with the normal discount and then they disappear from shelves in due time...
The Norwegian currency is really low now, so I am not planning on buying a lot there, but hope I get all the wizarding world sets (that I do not have yet), the last modular, some minifigs, a idea set or two and maybe some polybags for a decent discount at least :D
