Bricks to mount LEGO ledlights?

I like to add lights to big LEGO builds (like the London Bridge or Elizabeth Tower with Big Ben). I do have some LEGO ledlights, but no mounting bricks. So far the lights just hang loose (dangle from the cables) in the buildings. What bricks do you recommend to mount the ledlight to be able to connect them to other bricks?

I’ve been tempted to try the LEGO led lights, but never gotten to ordering some. I’ve always thought if the tip of the light was sized to fit in a hole you could use a trans clear headlight brick to house the led, sticking it in behind and holding it in the hole. Then you can put the light anywhere at that point.

I have extensive experience of LEGO's lights. I used 60 sets in a recent build.

They are the same diameter of a LEGO stud, pin, axle, etc... So you can fit them into the hole of a Technic brick or beam, or into the back or bottom of a #4070 headlight/Ehrlinger brick.

There are many other obscure ways to connect them, of course.

Yes, they should hook up to powered up or power functions battery boxes, though I haven’t tried any to see how it would work exactly, but should be plug & play I’d think:
