I'm surprised your order went though. I've been having a bit of trouble lately so gave up and will try again later. Getting unexpected errors/order cancelled when the order was going through. Very annoying.

Toll from my experience has been good, so far. I was quite worried a month and a bit ago when I made a big order and was worried about delivery. Just by reading the reviews. Then you look a bit more and every company has 1 star so these reviews seem to just be people venting because things didn't go someones way posts.
That said if you're not at home when they deliver they seem to have random pick up points like Newsagencys not the Post Office.

I did see Disney Castle was in stock last night. I was going to try and order it this morning but out of stock. Ah well next time.

I usually ask to get packages delivered at the post office 2 min from here. When you only have the options to get stuff delivered at home, they'll come, and if you aren't here, they'll drop a notification to say the package will be available at the post office. works fine for me.
actually the one problem I remember right now is the post office employee claiming the package wasn't there cause she input the tracking number wrong.

Thanks for the information @VorpalRyu @Charmiefcb
I ordered the package Monday and it's looking to get here today (Friday), which is very fast given I'm in a remote area. The nearest centre is only four hours drive away, so if they do redeliver it'll be here next week. Regardless, I should be here all day, so fingers crossed nothing goes wrong...

Sighing a bit - Bricks&Pieces is closed. Unless apparently if you're in Germany, UK or USA?

Wonder if they're going to make it better or worse.

Are you seeing a message @sid3windr? Or just only those three countries in the drop down list?

I mean, for the love of pete, are LEGO determined to test their fans until they all turn to dark ages? No wonder you are sighing a bit.

If I had to guess it's either a) another error or b) the t's and c's being re-written which tbh, I can't see being a good thing.

I'm going with yet another error since I just opened up shop.lego.com to find my region changed to US from UK for no apparent reason. Was going to try to put a bnp order in my basket and see what the t's and c's said, what countries it mentioned.

Have not followed any LEGO link to cause my region to be changed. Like an old s@h link to a retired set in the UK yet still on sale in the US for example or a US only set.

EDIT: I wonder if it's closed because they messed something up or intentional.

I still haven't been able to get into the reward centre despite having already tried with the very same browser as someone who successfully ordered a batpod.
  • Lego_StarLego_Star Member Posts: 2,144
The t's and c's list many European countries including Belgium and appear unchanged. Basket update appears to be unbelievably slow and problematic.

More people with errors with Legos store? I have been having troubles with their site for a few weeks trying to make a couple of orders. First when I put my order in it would be unexpected error and now that has changed to we cannot authorize your payment. It's beyond a joke now. I tried using a VIP code it says it doesn't exist after I tried it after yet another cancelled order due to their errors. I cleared cookies, different browsers. Even used my phone. No luck same errors.

TRU had all of thier Friends sets under 40$ at 25% off today. I went looking for #41376 (baby turtles, yo!), and ended up grabbing a couple of others that looked interesting. I dunno why I always overlook the Friends stuff, tbh. The few sets that I've grabbed have always impressed me (well, except for the insane abuse of stickers in every second step). They're like deluxe City sets. Sorry again for my crap photography (an outmoded device and an unsteady hand don't mix well, haha), but you get the gist.

But seeeeriously: baby turtles! That they fit snugly in the recoloured crown parts just amps up how freaking cute they are. There are three of them included in the set, as well as a mom. It's a brilliant little set!

@Speedman29, is that your original #886? Fantastic condition! My original looks like a Nik-Nak :-( Sadly, I was a 'biter' as a child.

@Speedman29 Completely agree. The figures are awesome, but the buggy just looks... Odd...
I've got a couple of #886 as well, one of which I was lucky enough to pick up off eBay for a good price in mint condition, with box and instructions. Definitely one of my prized Classic Space possessions! :-)

The buggy really needs the spare oxygen tank on the front. It just isn't quite Classic Space without it!

Bacheloring it up this week as the family is away to summer camp... so of course I'm building, building, building!
Built #21315 and #75258 so far and am planning on #10266 next. May break into #10248 as well.

Sadly this was me as well in early childhood.  Thankfully I was able to restore most of my old sets, including some smaller classic space stuff, but some were beyond saving, like #487 / #924 with a similar buggy (but with that cool spring forklift piece!).

Yep. I've got about 30 of my old Classic Space sets from the late 70s early 80s. My parents binned a lot of my old toys or sent them to charity shops. But all the LEGO I inherited from my brother and mine up to my Technic sets from the late 80s survived in a huge box in their loft. I've rebuilt lots of them

Whew, got a small shipment from LEGO today, and the warehouse did a... less than spectacular job.  I don't by any means expect boxes to show up in perfect condition, but was probably the worst I've seen.  This is the kind of box mangling I expect from Amazon!

Don't know that the pictures do the crushing justice... the box is probably about 1/2 of it's original thickness at the most crushed portion.  The outer box didn't even have smashed corners, let alone real damage. :(

Yeah, I had been waiting for a good time to buy it, because it looks fantastic.  Honestly, I wish I had gotten into Speed Champions earlier, because I don't think I've gotten a car yet that wasn't great.  (Even with the half billion stickers on each one :P )

Puzzled on where the 7th https://rebrickable.com/parts/30136/brick-special-1-x-2-palisade-aka-log/ goes on the UCS-MF. had it as a leftover from the build and didn't get a pointer when quickly scanning thru the manual (the other 6 are used for the dejaarik table bench so only one other location exists)

Fixing would be a PITA since the spot would require removing the MF from the efferman stand and then a partial disassembly. Not worth the hassle for now.....

Not to bring it back up but I don't believe that LegoFan2 and thehoarder are the same person. I iust sold a list of sets to LegoFan2 (He can still PM and read apparently, just not post). It's been a couple weeks and thehoarder just commented about missing out on a few sets on my marketplace thread recently. I worked with LegoFan2 on his order for like 2 months so he had plenty of time to get everything he wanted.

On another note saying goodbye to a few more things from the collection. Man it's hard lol. You'd think it would be easier since it is my 4th time selling out... but it's a never ending struggle (I think I have a problem).

I FINALLY had a Lego order go through. I had just been getting errors and cancelled orders for certain sets I wanted.
Today it went through and now is In Process so hopefully it goes through smoothly and I get it next week.

Seems you were right about Toll. After sitting in the same spot for a week, then bizarrely moving to a city further away, my parcel finally arrived today.

Looking good! The box was bigger than I expected, and the outer box was oddly unmarked save for the sticker with all the delivery information. I can't remember if Lego normally does this.

I'm currently parting out the Skull's Eye Schooner and trying to see if all the parts are there. So far the anchor is missing and the head of one crew member (sadly, the exclusive one). But the hull parts, the masts and the sails are all there.

I have a dumb question - is this version of Bastion 'scale' with the character minifigures?  I don't follow the game, but inexplicably have all of these sets.
    Baby_Yoda
  • FowlerBricksFowlerBricks Member Posts: 1,731
@SumoLego Neither of the Bastions are quite right with the scale, but then, Lego blew Reinhardt WAY too big, so I suppose you could call the smaller one minifig scale

^ Exactly. It's heavily upscaled, kind of in the vein of the big #75230 Porg, except Bastion in-game is still taller than a regular human. The Omnic Bastion is about as close as you can get without deviating too much from Bastion's actual appearance.
