Taken what we wanted out, replaced with some bits and polybags and made this creepy guy...
....where does the torso and leg combo come from. Looked Dr Whoish, but its not.
Anyway, the box will be shipped tomorrow when I get to the PO.

    ^ @Speedman29
    It's Newt's outfit from Dimensions #71253
Looks like the flesh hands have been swapped out for yellow ones...

I'd have been quicker with this but couldn't get the pic to upload!

Have to say I like the space in the eyebrow on yours though, adds to the character!

I thought it was Newt, but I have the CMF with the green stick insect in the pocket. I felt he had a Bladerunner feel to him. I swapped the hands for a flesh pair that was in the box.

^It's a bowtruckle, not a stick insect. His name is Pickett.

Box has arrived with me, already spotted a #30450 polybag from my wishlist so a happy start! Will have a proper look through later as currently recovering from surgery so all the wonderful painkillers make me tired!

Quick question - there are bags labelled "new bricks" and "used bricks", self explanatory, there is a bag of minifig parts also explanatory. But what is the loose bag of bricks in 3 colours? Theres no label so not clear why its separate? Apologies if its already been mentioned...

Are they mainly brightly coloured roof slopes or similar? If so, I think they are new. They were in a bag when I got them.

^I think that might have been me that put them in. Pink green and yellow maybe? If so, they are new.

yup the "garish" colours! Will pop the bag in with the new bricks when I'm done.

@andhe luck of the draw maybe?!

I've replaced a few of the polybags and will look through the loose bricks tonight once the kids are in bed. For now, #10771 beckons (my eldest is so desperate to build and play with it whilst the youngest is patiently waiting to do #41308 and all I can think about is sorting through bags of loose lego!)

The teal brick separater is now in the hands of the Royal Mail and its journey to @Mr_Cross has begun!

    Box is with me :-)
    Thanks for the separater @PJ76uk!
I'll have a proper dig through and hopefully get it off to @TheFew tomorrow.

Box is on its way again... it's looking quite beaten up, I would have replaced it but my boxes were either too big or too small. It should be okay for a couple more journeys.

@CCC Seems I'm last on the list before the box is due "home".  I recall @Legolis asking to be added to the list just after the order was confirmed so I'll post to them once I've received/rummaged if that's still ok?

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We've been off celebrating our Wedding Anniversary so the box was a lovely surprise when I got home this morning.

Not had chance for a proper look yet but will be doing so this evening. Is the box going home to CCC next or was there any other interest?

Back to @CCC, but I could definitely handle doing another pass of this and the minifigure box.
Many thanks to CCC for organising this fun little distraction.

Just about to head to the post office with the box. Wanted to say thanks again for including me at the end and thanks to CCC for organising. If it does another pass count me in.

I'll probably wait until after the kids holidays are done. The same box can of course go around again, but if I recognize parts form the original box I'll remove them, as there is no point sending around anything that nobody wants. As it will not have changed so much it will also be a good idea that people in the second half of the list are not near the front of the next list if participating again.

Would be interested to know what parts (if any) made/make it all the way round. Just out of curiousity!

I'd be up for joining in on the next round if I could. The minifig box was a lot of fun and I think I could enjoy a parts perusal just as much. Small parcel boxes are much easier to find in these here parts too!

I would be interested too. Especially if there was a way for all parties to share wanted lists so people could help each other get the bits they need. @Mr_Cross helped me this time, with a couple of bits I needed, and I am sure I could help some others.

I would like to take part if/when this fires up again. Thanks
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
The box came home today. There were some Ninjago legs and torsos that went all the way round and I think I recognise some of the general parts but not that much of it. Some brickforge parts came back, although possibly some found a new home as I think I put more in.

I'd be up for another loop. I'd also love to see a before and after pic of what @CCC initially sent out v what came back.

I didn't take a before pic for this one and the kids are not finished raiding the returned one yet. The bag of pastel roof slopes were first out for my daughter. Even stuff that AFOLs don't want are soon snapped up by kids.
