@Huw Could you help me with my question above please? I have solved the Unikitty problem but still don't know about the col339 issue.
  • oldtodd33oldtodd33 Member Posts: 2,727
@Huw  The set 852998 birthday party pack contains 10 of the 852998pack from BL and each contains one gen033 minifigure. Can you add this to the 852998 set please?

Official refill sticker rolls for #70830 Sweet Mayhem's Systar Starship.
(my photo, edited)  The pocket that holds the sticker roll does not have a smooth front.  There are raised markings (a recycling triangle with "01" inside and "PET" below the triangle).
And, the back of the card (my scan).

Credit to @Tkatt for spotting these in a B&M Target and posting a photo of a pack in the TLM2 thread.
Target's website has a page for these (https://www.target.com/p/lego-movie-2-sweet-mayhem-sticker-roll/-/A-53939735) with apparently official images of the pack, including stylized images of the front of the card (direct link) -- though with apparent outlines for an adhesive blister pack* -- and the sticker roll.
UPC is 4895028523770 and Target's retail price is $2.99.

*With the actual packs, the printed cards slip into a plastic case that covers the entire front of the card.

I noticed that although we have a "packaging type" category, it doesn't seem to be the most comprehensive. We don't seem to have plastic canisters or the rarer metal canisters listed for most Bionicle or Knights' Kingdom sets. I'd be happy to help provide info on that if necessary.

That's something we've been back-filling as time permits. Please let us know what's missing.

Seen that #853606 has been added and wondered where the red elf hat came from, cant seem to find it in any sets.

Hey, quick observation. I see that https://brickset.com/sets/BAT211901-1/Batman-with-Bat-a-Rang has been added to the database, but as a LEGO Batman Movie set. However, both the gift bag and the magazine it comes with are sporting the same branding as this year's LEGO Batman sets, which are in the database as LEGO Super Heroes sets.
When I first saw this year's branding change for Batman and Spider-Man sets, I was almost wondering whether it would be smarter to move those new sets to the OLD (pre-2012) Batman and Spider-Man themes, since the box art no longer has Super Heroes branding. But lately I'm thinking keeping them as subthemes of DC Super Heroes and Marvel Super Heroes is the right call, since LEGO still categorizes them that way in their websites and catalogs, if not on the box art itself. That said, it only makes sense to do the same with the the LEGO Batman magazine gift sets for 2019 onward.
  • VorpalRyuVorpalRyu Member Posts: 2,318
^ A problem with moving 2019 Batman & Spider-Man sets into those discontinued themes, is that these new sets still contain DC & Marvel branding on the boxes, minus the word 'superheroes' under or next the comics brand connected to the heroes, while those older themes did not have the comics brands displayed. It seems that it's more of a minor marketing/box design tweek rather than a new theme or revival of older ones (I suspect other DC/Marvel sets will be following this slight change too, as the Captain Marvel set still has the Marvel logo, but not 'superheroes' logo). I think keeping these sets in the existing main comic book themes is the best solution, as the alternative would be to add new themes simply called 'DC' & 'Marvel'.

As for the gift bag set, I'd say if branding on the packaging is in line with the 2019 DCSH branding, then yeah, sounds like it needs to be switched over.

I am surprised this hasn't been given more attention. Its a really odd set, it contains more exclusive minifigures parts than Santa's Workshop. Mrs Claus has a new colour print in both the torso and legs where as the original reused an old torso. The elf hat in red is also new where as in the workshop its the same hat used for the cmf elf.

Odd also that they just put all these new parts in a pick your own minifigures box. If this had been a polybag people would be going crazy for it. Odd also that it wasn't advertised anywhere.

My wife bought me the set but she says its not a pick your own set, the three figures were sealed inside already.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I've just noticed that the current TLM2 CMFs aren't listed as containing any minifigures.

For example, there's no "Minifigures" tab here: https://brickset.com/sets/71023-8/Apocalypse-Benny when there is here: https://brickset.com/sets/71012-7/Alice

Is that something that'll be coming later?

Brickset's minifig data comes from Bricklink, and BL hasn't index the TLM2 CMF's yet.

I assume BL still relies on volunteers to do this task, whilst treating their community with scorn.

In the case of  CMFs there's some manual work to be done this end to connect them to Bricklink's data, but they are not listed at BL yet so I can't do it here yet.

The TLM2 sets haven't all been inventoried fully at BrickLink yet. Once they have it'll all be sorted out.

It would be too crazy of a business model for them to try and deliver timely set inventories. Why pay someone when you can wait a month or two for someone to do it for you? Eyeroll

Not sure if this would be the best place to ask, but with the collection data ranking, like size of collection, etc, would it be possible to get a region/country ranking for this also available? After a couple of discussions I've been in about collections, I'm kind of curious as to how the data breaks down by these measures.

Similarly, I'd be curious to see what the site stats on sets, value & pieces would look like broken down by region or country (I'll admit I'm particularly intrigued as to which has more parts, America or Europe).

While adding a few Ninjago foil packs to my list, I noticed that a number of the foil packs that contain minifigures don't link to the minifigure data. In case someone wants to fix it, I compiled a list of them with the minifigures meant to be connected (cross referenced with BrickLink):

@Huw I noticed a typo in the database entry for #75243. The set name includes the set number so that the set details page is redundantly titled "75243-1: 75243 Slave I—20th Anniversary Edition."

@Huw, I see that this year’s May the Fourth free 20th anniversary promo poster (art print 10” x 13”) is in the database as 5005888. I received this in an order from US S@H. But when I purchased at the LEGO store, I received a larger anniversary poster (24” x 36”) numbered 5005887 which is not in the database. This larger poster is printed on the back so it looks like a light saber when rolled up. They had a red dark-side version, and a blue light-side version at the store. Mine is the red version, so I can’t be sure what the item number is for the blue version.

@Huw, 5005887 has the LEGO STAR WARS 20TH ANNIVERSARY tag, but 5005888 does not.

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I've been using Brickset to track my collection, and noticed that the latest May the Fourth promo mini build from my location was missing, and last month they had an Avengers mini build which was also missing. I attached a picture of both, and the instruction sheets.

Just a quick bit of extra info for a recent addition:

    The Lego House Pick-a-Model butterfly:

    Is a reissue of a previous in-store Pick-a-Model from 2016:

#41003 Olivia's Newborn Foal does not have the tag 'Brick Built Tree' while it does have one, it just doesn't show on the set image for some reason? The box image does show the tree.

It is packaged as pictured here: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/D8sAAOSwEP9cYqFb/s-l960.jpg (i.e. no polybag, no box)

Minor error that I don't think deserves its own thread (unless somebody wants to make a general thread for reporting general sorts of corrections for the database like how this one exists for additions): #6075-2 is marked "Also Known As: Wolves' Island Lair", which is actually supposed to be an alternate name for #6075-1.

I'd like to suggest #31077 and #31097 be added to subtheme "Modular"

It confused me looking through the list why those 2 weren't included.

Actually, if you type “modular” in the search box, it appears that “modular” is a sub theme of Creator, and “Modular Buildings” is a sub theme of Creator Expert.

Right, I'm just talking about the smaller "modular" sub theme, and not sure why those 2 aren't included.
