Possible Jedi Fallen Order sets

LordmoralLordmoral Member Posts: 939
Hello, this year there will be a new Star Wars videogame and like both Battlefront games made from EA and The Force Unleashed there are listings for tie in sets from it (I am weary that it is also being published by EA but I will give it the benefit of doubt). Here is the trailer but I hope to see more than one Trooper Pack as well as the main ship, Saw Guerrera, Purge Troopers, creatures and a few buildings like Doctor Strange/Peter Parker building but complete ala Modular Expert:

    "Trailer" may be an understatement with a 26+ min video.

    Despite EA's involvement, I'm cautiously optimistic that this game will end up being what so many fans have been hoping for all these years.

    It'll be interesting to see what, if any sets come from it too.

    I am too cautiously optimistic about this game. I saw Rogue One Ship there at one point so it will be great to have it at long last as a set (my Imperial Army needs more cargo ships).

    Actual Purge Trooper minifigs will be welcome, although I preferred the droid ones from The Force Unleashed (even if they were a pain to defeat). Let’s face it though a vehicle would be the priority

    A Purge Trooper ship with the Inquisitor is a must and the ones from Force Unleashed were early designs of the Dark-Trooper program (robots troopers), those were a great challenge to beat and I loved the EVO Troopers as well.
    The ones in the new game are based of on the last line of Jango Fett clones in the Marvel comics.

    ^^ Good point - we never got the Seventh Sister in the Rebels range - only the seemingly Utapauan original Rebels Inquisitor with the TIE Advanced Prototype, and the Fifth Brother in Captain Rex's AT-TE (one of my favourite Star Wars sets). They're probably going to need a new helmet for the Seventh Sister.

    That is another Inquisitor sadly, Second Sister and there is a pretty possible story about her if you don't mind filling yourself with hype:

    I kind of doubt they would release sets based on an M rated video game that is not aimed at LEGOs core market. If they do great but I just don't see it happening. Happy if wrong though.
    Just hoping this is similar to Force Unleashed. I loved that game. 2 wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. Not getting my hopes up as it's EA.
    I miss pre-Disney Star Wars.

    So far it is an E game but that is likely a place holder for now as the game seems T.
    Edit: as I said I am tentatively hyped but I agree with what you said about EA games nowadays (remember the glory days of Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2).

    I saw it in a Brickset article that spoke of Star Wars sets that we would be getting for this fall: Rise of the Skywalker, The Mandalorian and Jedi Fallen Order.
    Edit: confused Brickset (LEGO news fan site with Bricklink, yes parts and half a set order, I am coming.

    Hang on. They have made Overwatch sets which is rated M here so this very well could be a thing.

    YES old EA before they got greedy and put micro transactions in everything. Video games in general are in a bad place due to the greed of publishers. Virtual Haircut $7.
    I didn't mind DLC like Bioshock 2, Batman Arkhams DLC etc. But when you hide large chunks of a game behind DLC and season passes I just get turned off.

    Batman Arkham Knight DLC was messy, they left 4 campaings off the making game (Killer Crock, Mad Batter, Rsa, Mister Freeze) and a bad fight against Deathstorke that should have culmimated in a sword battle. I have my eyes on Cyberpunk 2077, you think that has a chance (sarcasm)?

    I didn’t see any leaks of Fallen Order sets - just the one from the Mandalorian and the others mainly from Episode IX - is there something i’m missing?

    Nope. Everything that will be shown has already been leaked, and Jedi Fallen Order did not get any sets this time around

    So... less of a Triple Force Friday and more of a Double Force Friday then, at least for Lego fans

    Not all of us recognize that as a ridiculous abbreviation.

    The ones that do, we don't use that abbreviation.  It's ridiculous.

    After playing and beating the game SW Jedi Fallen Order I can propose a few sets ideas myself (I hope one of #LEGO designers sees this and is inspired):
    -The Mantis (the pilot, the Bogling found on Bogano, Cere, Cal Kestis, BD1, Nightsister Merrin, Second Sister);
    -Partisan Battle Pack (one Wookie, one female partisan, one male Partisan, one Duros Partisan);
    -Tie Reaper (Ninth Sister, x3 Purge Troopers (with various weapons), Tie Pilot, x1 Purge Trooper Commander);
    -Imperial Refinery Breakout (Saw Guerrera, x2 Partisans, x2 Storm Troopers, x1 Giant Spider);
    -Trooper Battlepack (x1 Chaingun Trooper, x1 Flame Trooper, x1 Scout Trooper with baton, x1 Rocket Trooper);
    -AT-ST (pilot, x1 Snow Trooper, x1 Security Droid, Cal Kestis (winter clothes), BD1)
    Let me hear your thoughts.
  • LordmoralLordmoral Member Posts: 939
    Adding to the list:
    - Zeta Class Shuttle (Pilot, x3 Wokeei prisioners, x1 Partisan, x2 Storm Troopers) and some orange crates;
    - Imperial Troop Transport (driver, x2 Storm Troopers (but can accomodate more as the Rebel TV show) , x1 Partisan)
  • LordmoralLordmoral Member Posts: 939
    Another one:
    - Tie Bomber (Tie pilot, Tarful, Purge Trooper).

    @Lordmoral quite the ambitious list. It'll be interesting if the game proves popular enough even for one set, let alone a whole load of them.

    Sadly, even if we do get sets, it seems unlikely that Prauf, Jaro Tapal, or Eno Cordova would get figures. Don't see many of the awesome creatures from the game getting much love either. Of course, a Gorgara set would be a great centerpiece for some Dathomir-centric characters, like Taron Mallicos and Merrin.

    I'd like to see a battle pack with a purger trooper, a scout trooper, and two stormtrooper

    and then a Mantis set with Kal, Cere, Greez, 2nd sister, a purge trooper and a brick-built BD-1
    (and I'd love to see Kal have multiple options of lightsaber blades and handles)

    Remember, there are 4 different specialist troopers and the Purge Troopers can be spread in the sets or in a BP for them as there are more as shown in the Vader comic.

    You know, I kind of hope the Fallen Order sequel takes advantage of the Pre-Rebels timeline to feature some more Inquisitors. Would be a nice way to get the Seventh Sister and Eighth Brother minifigures we missed out on when the Rebels subtheme didn't do so well. Might even be a good source for the as yet unseen Third Inquisitor and Fourth Sister; don't know that any of the others could be used, unless they want to have Cal be killed or defeated by the Grand Inquisitor or Fifth Brother.

    Having thought about it, I think a Dathomir set would be pretty sweet. It could feature Gorgara as the centerpiece/main build, maybe with a structure or two. Minifigures could include Cal, Merrin, Taron Malicos, Jaro Tapal (in a nod to the Force manifestation of him) and maybe a couple other figs or builds. A Nightbrother/Nighsister zombie battle pack might not be a bad addition either.

    @Lordmoral I like the TIE Reaper idea; might be nice to include Prauf so it's not all baddies in the set.
