I took the last Grindelwalds Escape from Arnold Sainsbury's,
unless they restock from the Argos cupboard at the back of the store... :)

Worth £6 for the parts alone.
But it is also quite a good stage coach.

^NICE FIND! I'm super jealous! I made it a goal to get all of the Toy Story 1-3 sets (don't care much for the new stuff). I've pieced together a couple of them, but have been looking for #7590 for awhile now. It'll happen eventually with a find like this.

    Congrats!
  • pxchrispxchris Member Posts: 2,438
I'm not going for all of the Toy Story 1-3 sets but I have been collecting the primary TS1 ones that interest me. #7598 is still my "hardest to find at a decent price" at though... Searching high & low.

It's definitely on my list @gelkster! It's a delicate balance of budget and trades. I haven't forgot!

Picked up #4494709 Toolbox Storage for $25, completely full of random Lego parts. After sorting though it I only had to toss out 5 small megablock parts, one army man and a couple of plastic bugs.

Got #7751 Ahsoka's Starfighter for 40 dollars, missing the stickers, at least according the the description. Probably going to order them on bricklink.

It's definitely a 'win' if there were no cat turds.

I mean if @Astrobricks is into that stuff, I know where to send cat faeces the next time they pop up in a bulk lot.

He who dies with the most cat turds wins.

I can just about put up with cat turds, chewing gum and pubes, but Megablocks and Cobi, man, I never feel clean after touching that stuff ;-)

Nope, no they don't.  Even though I saw this on the internet, it is not true.  Less turds = More wins.

Received #10188 Death Star for 139 dollars, but it is missing all the #1 bags, which means all the figures, and perhaps some of the #2 and 3 bags. Will be a project.....

$200 for 11 sets (Ferrari sealed, but the rest open and about 99% complete separated with boxes and instructions):
    - Monster Fighters: 9467, 9468, 9464
    - Ultra Agents 70173
    - Lone Ranger - 79110, 79108
    - Castle - 70400, 70403
    - Lord of the Rings - 79006
    - Technic - 42038
    - Ferrari - 10248

Wanted to sell them all in my BL store, but I don't think the kids will let me get rid of that Ferrari.... it is a nice looking set.

#6085 and #6990 99% complete for $10 at a garage sale but missing instructions.
If you want the instructions, I've got them for sale in my bricklink store from a recent bulk purchase that included most, but unfortunately not all, of the monorail.  I decided to list it for parts, but seeing it laid out, I sort of wish I kept it.  Already sold the straight tracks and up/down sections, but still have the motor... maybe I'll make a tiny circle for my single car monorail.  :o

I Catan decide what I would want to play first!

Can't be bothered to talk about board games as it's sunny outside and I've just put a large animal carcassonne the BBQ.

Me too - I love looking for/finding deals! They had lots of other deals that I might just have to go back and snag as well. Most of them were on Creator 3-in-1 and Star Wars sets, with a few City and Friends sets as well.

@Koolbrix2018 @eMJeeNL Yeah, I actually ordered online for ~$56, but happened to walk to the Lego section after pick-up and saw they had 1 on the shelf at $19 clearance lol.  Best deal I've gotten since I learned about Walmart clearances. Excited to build.

Picked up Pirate Roller Coaster for $19 at Walmart tonight!
That's what I'm hoping for.  Several in stock in my area at $54.  None seemed to drop today as I had hoped.

    Enjoy that Pirate Coaster!
