Not the biggest of bargains. I really liked the ride on mower polybag that came on the front of the last City magazine. Our WHSmiths local stocks it, and then the owner sticks the unsold sets in a bucket. Got four of them and a friend's cover gift for the cost of one magazine.
Anybody else missed out on getting it as I don't need them all!

An ebay seller. The same one re-posted the listing after I bought it, so wasn't sure if it was real or not but it came today. I best-offered the seller 30 dollars and they accepted, the shipping was 7. I can link to the new listing if you want...

Awesome! I still want to get the Daphne and Velma minifigs to complete the gang. I only got the Mystery Machine from this series, but I regret not getting more.

@TheBrickTank Keep an eye out on selling groups/Facebook Marketplace etc. This seems to be one of those sets that people bought for their children, who have now outgrown their Lego collection, and who may not be aware of the AFOL market value. I picked one up for £40 last year; used but in good condition.

Saturday, I found #60216 Downtown Fire Brigade at the Roseville, MN Walmart. There was one on the top shelf, no price tag anywhere. I thought, "I'll go scan it. If it's less than $75, I'll probably get it; if it's $50, definitely." Scanned at $25! Mine now. I beat you to it, @Astrobricks! :)

Well, that brings #75199 down to what it should cost without the Disney tax :)

That's about right.  RRP made no sense at on this one.  Don't know what Lego was thinking.  $20 / 20€ maybe.  Which would have made Walmart's regular price $16.

Over 70 sets from the early 90's to the mid 2000's, including some big classic technic sets like Super Car (8880) and Pneumatic Crane Truck (8460).  Armada Flagship (6280), Deep Freeze defender (6973), Ice Station Odyssey (6983), Launch and Load Seaport (6542), Space Shuttle (1682) and way too many more to list... probably 45 medium to large and 30 small sets.  Very good condition with probably a few pieces missing.  All sorted pretty well by color and type too.

    $150.

Now when am I going to find time to inventory this stuff?

Just picked up a #10261 Creator Roller Coaster new in the sealed box for $300 CDN (about $225US). This set was a way down on my wish list, but at that price I couldn't pass it up!

^ Crikey, over £800,  just in those three sets!
If you had the boxes and instructions.

Still a good haul, if you just has the lego.... :)
  • alexwilalexwil Member Posts: 376
Unfortunately no boxes or instructions but considering I couldn’t even see any minifigures in the picture it’s definitely a great haul!!

At a local salvage store "Give Me $5" found #17101 Boost Creative Toolbox box crushed with all but one bag sealed for, you guessed it, $5!  The all important power modules were still sealed.  Not bad for a $170 set!

When I check my local Salvation Army, Savers or other second-hand stores - I rarely find anything.

    Lots of duplo-sized Mega Bloks.

My LEGO Racers CD-ROM.  I remember where I put my Island 2 CD-ROM, but it's so scratched up, it will need to be replaced. The Racers disk is actually not half-bad.

I wish LEGO would re-release these titles on Steam.
