It looks like a 2x2 tile. What is on the other side?

No, he's right. A double triple jumper 2x2 tile. It's a Russian facsimile of a old Eurasian piece that stems from the set #7120202014 . Very rare. Very valuable. You lucky lucky b*stard.

There are two images there. What if one's the front side, and one's the back side? If so, that is an interesting piece, though probably not real Lego.

it doesn't seem to have the small groove to insert a brick separator. I think very old tiles were like that?

When I zoom in on it, it does seem to have that notch/groove.

    Hello.

Not quite Lego but, a weird oddity with studs on it.

Two Tomy cars... Plastic...Studs on roof.

They look like London taxis,  any clues to the origins?

Tomy had Lego style studs on their old Tomy Trains range in the 90's. I don't know if they had Lego style studs on any other range. They could be out of a Trains set from back in the day.

On the individual parts, I'm looking for a verbal description and/or part number.  On the assembled parts, I'm trying to find out which set(s) they go to.  Thanks!

There is a dedicated thread for this. The last part on the bottom right is.  https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6125#T=C

Most of the Bionicle stuff could be from any number of sets, but part numbers I see for the Bionicle and Bionicle-ish stuff include:
    • Row 1, column 1: 53549
    • Row 1, column 2: 32175
    • Row 1, column 3: non-LEGO
    • Row 2, column 1: non-LEGO
    • Row 2, column 2: 32551
    • Row 2, column 3: 47299
    • Row 3, column 1: 41668
    • Row 3, column 2: 53543
    • Row 4, column 2: 32576
    • Row 4, column 3: 57562
    • Row 5, column 2: 53543
    • Row 6, column 3: non-LEGO
    • Row 6, column 4: 44810
    • Row 7, columns 2 and 3: non-LEGO
    • Row 8, column 1: 32174, 47297, and 47298. This is probably from a MOC since no set had all three of these parts in these particular colors.
    • Row 8, columns 2 and 4: non-LEGO
    • Row 8, column 3: 47298
    • Row 9, column 1: non-LEGO
    • Row 9, column 2: 47298
Also, row 5, column 1 is the cannon from set #8106

EDIT: Just realized you didn't have stuff broken into separate rows with enter key so it might display differently on your screen… but the order should be roughly correct.

Thanks Aanchir for the Bionicle id's ... there are a couple of mistakes you made, however:  The part at Row2, col 1 you identified as non-lego very much is; it's some sort of Bionicle part, though clear.  The end looks like it's made to fit in a light connector.

Also, the part at Row 6, col. 3 IS lego (new pic attached).  The blue cannon...
It has a screw in it; I'm not sure what's inside.

AFAIK the parts at 7-2, 8-2 and 8-4 are all Bionicle as well.  The ball joint is the same size.  That's ALL of the first set of parts identified!  Thanks SO MUCH!

    Now all that's left is pic 2, 3 & 4 from the 2nd set.

oldtodd33:  I only saw one post from you, where you identified the horse's head piece; you also mentioned that there's a specific thread for parts identification.  It looks to me like my posts are now inside that thread... unless I'm seeing things wrong...

Yes, the mods are good about moving such posts here when they stray from home. Which is why I finally learned not to complain about it :)

    01  02
    03A  03B

    04A  04B
    05  06  07
    08  09  10
    11

This is pretty much what's left; I've numbered them this time to make it easier.  Both #3 and #4 are definitively Lego, as they both bear the logo.  It might be a long shot identifying the sets on #5 - 9, but I'm hopeful.  Thanks in advance!

Number six is from #7171 Mos Espa Podrace. It's part of Sebulba's podracer.

Number seven is from #7092 Skeletons' Prison Carriage.

On picture 11, the white base only comes in two sets but neither of those sets came with the black top so you'll have to figure that one out for yourself. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=30516&in=S

    Picture 4a and 4b is.  https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=87601#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}

Number eleven: design 30516, element number 4296249; it came in just five sets: #7669, #7697, #7721, #10179, and #7048.
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,262
I don't know why #7669 didn't get "blued". Maybe this time.
  • oldtodd33oldtodd33 Member Posts: 2,728
For picture 6, the round tile only comes in 3 sets so that should be easy to figure. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4150ps1&in=S

Thanks for your help - actually, the base is light bluish gray; I found it on BrickLink, part #30516c02, as part of the #10174 AT-ST set - for which I have MANY pieces!
Also, you were close on the stockade door; it's actually part #30223, from kit #8874 Battle Wagon (I have at least one other part of that as well).
    ...
    So we've got #4A, 4B, 6, 7 & 11... that leaves 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 & 10.  I'm almost there!!

    Here's my contributions:

    1: Still searching
    2: #6738 Skateboard Challenge
    3: Still searching
    5: #5616 Mini-Robot
    8: I can't find any set with a combination using parts 609121, 4243812, and 4210984
9: Also struggling to find this combination of parts using a variety of mixes
10: Part 32307 seems to be the closest I can find. Is it the same on both sides as far as the finish? Something just seems non-Lego to me with the color/finish.
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 Member Posts: 3,482
For parts 1 and 3, they are large enough that it would be reasonable to see some printed LEGO logo (especially #3 on the underside). Can you confirm if they're stamped at all?
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,262
Part 1 is 2516. In white, it is part of the brick-built "Gasgano" figure in set #7171 Mos Espa Podrace. In other sets too, but we know you have other parts of #7171.
  • TheWebExpert1TheWebExpert1 Member Posts: 35
You all are awesome.  Switchfoot, you were right on target with #10.  That's the part.  I was wondering if #9 might also be from the AT-ST.

Is 4 Lego? Closest I can think of is https://brickset.com/parts/design-30223 but both sides look the same with the studs on it. I can't find a version that has the second side your door has.

If 3 was Lego, it looks like a piece that might go to a line like Bionicle, Hero Factory or Galidor. Unfortunately I didn't see any sets that look like they have a part like that.
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,262
Part 9 is indeed from the AT-ST- it's on the front of the, um, pelvis.
  • TheWebExpert1TheWebExpert1 Member Posts: 35
#4 is definitely Lego; once the part had been identified, it was pretty clear that this particular one is just like the ones in the Harry Potter Hogwarts set.  Ok; I'm pretty sure that #3A/3B may not be Lego after all.  Yes, it does have the connection on the bottom - but there's no markings ANYWHERE.  And although there ARE legit Lego pieces that don't have any markings, on a piece THIS big I'm sure there would be.

What I wish for is a site where I could enter part numbers on a list, and then hit a button & have it find any set with those pieces.

Ok, thanks for that link; I really needed that.  Switchfoot had his numbers wrong for #8; they're actually 4162206, 4211403 and 241926.  However, the problem remains:  There's no set with these.  That makes me think that they're from separate sets.
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 Member Posts: 3,482
^I wondered if I had botched the numbers. Thanks for the fix. Sorry it still came up empty!

Was just looking over the Hidden Side images and noticed this piece on the end of the train track

I'm not particularly up to date on Train pieces, is this an existing piece and if so what is its function?

It is new, I think it's just so kids can drive the train onto the floor. Could be fun to try and find other uses though.
