Not much detail on the patronus stag.  Not sure how much I like the glittery plastic.  It looks like it's dual molded, with the body made from a hard plastic and the antlers from a rubbery material.
  • milambermilamber Member Posts: 637
Neither of them do anything for me. The stag looks like it's from a Friends set. The Buckbeak isn't terrible, but still not a patch on the one from the Dimensions fun pack.

Where are the leaks? I was casually checking Instagram and Reddit and wasn't seeing anything.
  • J0rgenJ0rgen Member Posts: 591
    @pharmjod Check #legoleaks on Instagram.

I saw a YouTube video suggesting the Yule Ball torsos that have been leaked are from the rumoured advent calendar. It made a lot of sense to me. It had me thinking; what if the advent calendar is entirely based on the Yule Ball, with mini builds based on the Hogwarts Christmas decorations and main characters in dress robes. It wouldn't make sense to have a separate Yule Ball set as it takes place in the Great Hall which we already have, and it would be fun to have an advent calendar with a coherent theme. It will probably be a mix of Christmas scenes from PS, CoS and GoF though.

J0rgen, sources on other forums have pretty well refuted any idea that the Yule Ball figs are from the Advent Calendar. They are from the "Watchtower"/Clocktower set.

Oh, okay. I'm really curious about what that set will be! What part of the castle is it?

    Found em. Thanks!

Just went to Barnes and noble and found a ton of the bricktober 5005254 sets! Checked online and they are in stock and can be shipped. Jump on it if you’ve been wanting these minifigs

That patronus is a bit too glittery and those circles on the side are quite unsightly, but it otherwise inclines me to purchase the set, depending on its price.

    $14.99 I believe

I'm from Australia, and we don't usually find out prices until well after the official reveal, but if you're right it'll probably be around $20-25 AUD.

More substantial rumoured set list on Instagram now. Here are mye updated speculations:

75945 Expecto Patronum 14.99$ - Harry (blue jacket), Sirius, dementor, patronus stag and small tree build. There could be two dementors, but for such a low price I think there will only be one.

75946 Triwizard Tournament 34.99$ - Harry (First Task), Cedric (First Task), Fleur (First Task), Krum (First Task), Rita Skeeter, semi-brick built Horntail and a spectators stand. All the champions are rumoured to be included, and I think they will use this opportunity to include Rita Skeeter as well plus one more fig. Hermione, Skeeter's photographer or Crouch maybe.

75947 Hagrid's Hut and Buckbeak Rescue 49.99$ - Hagrid, Dumbledore, Fudge, McNair, Hermione (pink sweater), Ron, Fang, Scabbers, Buckbeak, Hagrid's Hut (both parts) and a small pumpkin patch. The fake picture that made the rounds earlier had a reasonable selection of minifigs, but I think they might leave Harry out of this one, and if they want to include Ron, this is the set to do it. Unless they're saving Fudge for future Order of the Phoenix sets, I think he will be in either this or the Knight Bus set.

75948 Hogwarts Clock Tower 89.99$ - Apparently this is going to be the Yule Ball set, which actually makes a lot of sense, since a PoA version would be bound to have a lot of repeated minifigs, so: Harry (Yule Ball), Cedric (Yule Ball), Fleur (Yule Ball), Krum (Yule Ball), Hermione (Yule Ball), Ron (Yule Ball), and... 2-4 more figs in Yule Ball robes. Possible candidates are Cho, Parvati, Hagrid and Neville. A fun fig to include would be Moaning Myrtle, as this is a sizeable part of the castle, and the prefects' bathroom could be one of the rooms included. I'm still hoping for the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets with Myrtle, Lockhart and Ginny though...

75957 Knight Bus 39.99$ - Harry (blue jacket), Ernie Prang, Stan Shunpike, Sirius as dog and the Knight Bus. I expect at least one more fig, which could be Fudge, Tom the Barman, uncle Vernon or Aunt Marge. Maybe some small playground build too.

    75958 Confidential 54.99$ - I'm blank.

759565 Confidential 14.99$ - If there is a graveyard set, this is probably it. If so, it should include Harry (Third Task), Wormtail, Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, a small cauldron build and Tom Riddle's tomb. Having Cedric with the Tri-wizard cup as a CMF would make sense if this scene is just a small set.

75964 Advent Calendar 39.99$ - Since this is not the Yule Ball set I speculated yesterday, it will probably include some repeated figs, and some exclusive ones. I expect at least one exclusive Yule Ball fig in this, as well as Ron in his Christmas jumper. This could also be where we finally see Moaning Myrtle and Gilderoy Lockhart.

If the rumours and my guesses based on them are about right, this will be a great wave. The final act of Prisoner of Azkaban involves a lot of characters, so spreading them out across several sets would make sense. I am certain we will get Harry, Hermione, Sirius, Buckbeak and at least one dementor from Expecto Patronum and Hagrid's Hut, and we already have Lupin, Snape, Ron (his sweater in Whomping Willow is a good match for PoA as well) and one more dementor from the last wave, so if we get Wormtail in a new graveyard set and Sirius' dog form with the Knight Bus, we will have all the key players. The only fig I will be missing from a PoA version of the Clock Tower is Madame Pomfrey, but that's a small price to pay for a full set of exclusive figs in that set.

My biggest question, if all this turns out to be correct, is; Where are the Weasleys?! There is nothing about these rumoured sets that suggest we will see Ginny, Fred and George, or Mr. and Mrs. Weasley in this wave either. I guess they're saving them for the third wave as film six is very Weasley-centric and they can do another attack on the Burrow and maybe Fred and George's shop.

Interesting. I'm going to guess #75945 will be battle pack scale, putting it at A$23. The others look decent, but I still need to get last year's Whomping Willow and battle pack-size set.
  • J0rgenJ0rgen Member Posts: 591
All four champions are on Instagram now, although Krum has Cedric's face.
  • wardmwardm Member Posts: 887
If LEGO keeps up with that first great wave of HP sets, I think I’m going to get all of them.
I think the problem with the patronus is that we see patronuses as white and transparant in the movies instead of this more solid sparkling ‘transparant’ blue. I would never have thought they’d do a patronus though, so I’m still very happy to be able to get one.
I also hope the rumoured advent calendar is interesting enough as a whole (mini builds, exclusive prints/characters/animals) to justify a purchase. I think christmas sweater Ron and Harry from the first movie are a MUST in the calendar!
I’m also sad that we apparently won’t be getting a shrieking shack in the PoA wave.

New prisoner of azkaban figure leaks: ron, harry, hermione (I love the hair they used for her!)
There's also a recolour of the Dumbledore CMF hair-hat combo (hat now in dark tan), but the leaker mistakenly put his head on fleur's Jule Ball body and vice versa.

Hermione's jacket is too open, and I think Harry and Ron's legs were switched around, apart from that, these are looking very good. Surprised we're getting an obscure Dumbledore variant!
  • wardmwardm Member Posts: 887
Sirius Black will have the Luke ep8 hair in dark brown. Not sure if I like that... Would’ve thought they’d go for the Mad-Eye hair in black (like on the wanted poster in the Hogwarts Express set)
  • J0rgenJ0rgen Member Posts: 591
Yeah, I wanted Moody's hair too. This will look good for the OotP version though.

We’re getting a Fudge and Macnair fig (probably with Hagrid’s hut set)
  • wardmwardm Member Posts: 887
Set number #75964 will be the advent calendar and will cost €29.99
Set number #75957 will cost €39.99 so I’m guessing this will be the Knight Bus set or the Patronus set (since it’s the first number in the row)

  • J0rgenJ0rgen Member Posts: 591
I think it's pretty certain the patronus set will be 15-20€, so the Knight Bus is more likely to be the 40€ set. There have also been leaks of the full Ernie Prang fig, as well as the shrunken head (a printed minifig head this time) and Stan Shunpike's head. I hope Shunpike will come with the sea captain's hat in purple.

Sort of a shame, considering they could have instead opted for the newer baby head.

New pumpkin leaked, and the Hungarian Horntail's head is rumoured to be the Occamy's/Thunderbird's. I see from the pictures of Newt's Case of Magical Creatures that you can have at least two spikes sticking out from that head, but are there holes for more? The Horntail in the film is quite... horny. I shouldn't have said that... I should not have said that.

Yup. There are four holes on the back of the head. Two go unused on both of the creatures included with the case.

Sounds like they know what they're doing then :) Kudos to the designer who realized they could make one piece for all three creatures.

Complete Yule Ball Harry and Stan Shunpike (looking very good with a recoloured captain's hat) have been leaked.
  • J0rgenJ0rgen Member Posts: 591
Yule Ball Cedric and Ron are leaked. There are two Rons in the picture, and Yule Ball Ron's head seems to have been put on the wrong one, because the Azkaban version is turning his nose up, which he only does at his dress robes.

First HP 2019 set leak: expecto patronum! Nice tree builds, harry, sirius, 2 dementors, small place to put minifigs (lakeside) and patronus stag. I’m afraid this will cost more than the rumoured 15$ though...

With both this and the advent calendar leaking today, the rest are hopefully not that far away. I hope the Expecto Patronum set won't be more than 20$, because I'm definitely getting two (even though I prefer the 2010 dementors).

Thanks @wardm - I'm guessing that it will have the same RRP as #75951.

I'm eagerly awaiting the first images of the Tri-Wizard Challenge & Hagrid's Hut; the Hungarian Horntail has been rumoured to be partially brick-built which could be interesting!

The Clock Tower, Hagrid's Hut & Expecto Patronum look great. The Knight Bus is just...purple. The horntail doesn't look horrible but not particularly menacing either. It should probably be bigger, too. With more horns.
