Was having a look round a small toy shop and saw this..

Was tempted for the Dogpound figure but dragged myself away,  bought just a Friends polybag instead!

@Odeinoichus I'm in the same situation, but I wanted the Halo stuff. I'm still collecting Lego for sure, but Mega Construx is taking the front seat for now. (Funny bit of info: you cannot mention Lego on the MCX forum. They will replace it with 'competitor')

I've revised my "Build time = one minute per dollar of RRP" equation. Or formula, or theory, or whatever. Last night's build of #75240 Major Vonreg's TIE Fighter only took 50 minutes. So at 496 pieces for $69.99, it seems a better estimate is 10 pieces per minute. By the way, no stickers in #75240. :)

I figured this day would come at some point. Long story short I am most certain I have decided to close my Bricklink store, or at least drastically reduce my inventory ( currently about 40k parts with an additional 60k waiting to be parted out and added), and dedicate my time to being a builder, maybe even one day a full time builder. Well that's my Lego status for the day, feel good to be finally be truly come out of the dark ages.

Trying to figure out to do with about two freezer bags full of extremely chewed/broken Lego pieces. I can't put them in the recycling and it feels wrong to add so much more plastic to the landfill. :/

And with this, I have the full collection of player figures...

No doubt a $500 set will be released next year including a single exclusive player fig.

My mum sent me a parcel for my birthday which had  2 Lego sets, which turned out I already own. I guess it’s the thought that counts.

Stayed up to put an order in for a Slave 1 at midnight, to make sure I got a 'mystery box', glad I did because I now can't log in to [email protected] at all. It's been glitchy for a couple of days, so another colossal win there for LEGOs I.T department (sigh).

Although with regard to promotions, I'm wondering "if I will ever learn" in the light of what I found out about LEGO with the black VIP debacle... in my defence, I don't have very high hopes... it's got a nice box though, and I've always had a weakness for a nice box.

@Basty happy belated birthday! At least you get Lego from your mum. Mine asked, have you got a wishlist? But it's not allowed to have any Lego on it! Luckily I got some fun Lego from my husband and son and a coupon for a toyshop from my friend last week. My mother-in-law has given me some money towards the upcoming Disney CMF's, so that's exciting too!

As to our status, we've been playing with the moviemaker app. Well mostly my son, I was allowed to help set up a 'studio' and he really does very concentrated work on it. The app isn't without it's flaws but a fun introduction to stop motion filming.

Thanks. My birthday isn’t for another week and a bit but my mum is going on holiday so sent it sooner. Shame you can’t have Lego on your list :(

Just arrived today from [email protected] Also got the notification today that the Podracer that was a part of this order but backordered has shipped today.

    The polybag plastic feels different.

If that's what I think it is, that will be 'OneCase' where the property values drop once the upstairs neighbor move in. :)

Fantastic looking MOC and on my to do list once current projects are finished with.

    I am so incredibly jealous of you right now.  That one is on my to-do list, but I have to finish getting together pieces for Docking Bay 327 and the Sisyphus Automata first.  I just can't justify buying pieces for 3 large+ sized MOCs at the same time ;_;

My easter gift to myself arrived yesterday.  #10264 CG, so now my modular street will be complete again.

    Missing Falcon and Crossbones?  Hmmm.

Looking at your collection makes me hate that there still is no Daredevil minifig.  Such a glaring absence!

I do have the red falcon in the back, but the newer one and crossbones are on my want list. I am sure my collection pales in comparison to many others, but it’s still growing. I’d really like an official Punisher minifig, but I’m not holding my breath.

Well my eye can stop twitching now. Got my laptop back from repairs a couple days ago and have been reinstalling and setting up everything again.

Been fighting with LPub since yesterday. No matter what I tried everything looked like a blocky mess and I would get errors about even basic parts missing. Following some suggestions I found online, I messed with something and managed to fix it. Just wish I had figured that out yesterday.

^ That's a cool idea. Kind of like those mosaics you often see, but more interesting, in a way.

Well I'm glad I'm not 10 years old as I probably would be very upset over not being able to complete the LEGO Steamboat Willie build. There are a lot of pieces missing in bag(s) 3 it is as if LEGO forgot to put a bag in the box. I find this very surprising as LEGO's quality control is usually very high though it might be the fault of the place that shipped me the set. Anyways here's where my build is until I receive the missing pieces from LEGO.

Starting to consider selling off my modular street. I still love the builds and everything but realistically it is just going to sit in boxes in an attic on a different continent than I am on.

Of course if I sell stuff like Town Hall and Fire Brigade there is no going back on it later.

You're not going to be over there forever, I'm assuming? Just let it sit in the attic for now. It will wait for you until the day comes when you wish to unpack it all and enjoy it all over again.

Trying to decide if I need all of the 20th Anniversary sets. The Slave 1 price is hard to swallow.

I am back and forth more here than there. Most of my modulars are disassembled so by the time I got them put together it would be time to take them apart again. I think my interests have moved more towards mocing my own stuff over static sets too.

My Lego status: bummed. My package wss multiple days late, so I called FedEx several times last week. They kept telling me someone would call the next day, and it never happened. I called again yesterday and they told me they had a new driver who lost my package, so I should tell Lego and they will refund me. I'm just annoyed that I missed out on the promo and that all these clearance items and promo chicken figure won't be arriving.
