I've had that set on my want list since it was first revealed, but it keeps getting pushed down due to other spendy sets coming out that I've wanted even more at the time... still hope that I'll get a chance to pick it up before it retires.
This was me.  There was always something else a higher priority.  So when i found it on sale at costco, I decided I had to try for it before it retired.

Camaro ZL1 Race Car #75891 is complete! Stickers sucked, but the rest of it was fun..
You know you’re building a speed champions set when.....  :D. Still generally I’ve found they’re usually small enough to apply with a butter knife & add a fair bit of character to the cars

Didn't have time for moc projects on my trip like I had hoped but did get some Speed Champions together. My favorite is the #22 as I got the stickers and a few other bits I needed like the wheel arches for less than $5. Much better than forking out for a $99 set.

Making good use of a stormy Sunday to built the Tower Bridge in tandem with my son. Not found the cheese slopes too annoying to be honest. And keep thinking how I can integrated some techniques into my big Hogwarts. I got Harry Potter on the brain...

Finally had time outside of work/school to finish the Old Fishing Store I got last Black Friday. It was worth it, it’s a gorgeous set and much bigger than I expected. Got repetitive with the planks on the wall but it was to good effect. Particularly loved the work done on the docks, the color scheme, and the animals.

My son recently started getting into Lego's, and now he has a bunch of the Speed Champions sets now, so I was trying to design a place where he can park all of them.  It's still sort of a work in progress, but this is what I've come up with so far:

that looks good and i would love something like this for my speed champions cars. just seems like it might be difficult to get the cars in the middle levels.

Take a lesson from the Modular Buildings, each storey can be easily lifted off the lower storeys.

@Speedman29 I haven't seen much love for that set, but looks very interesting! Only a month left til they come to Australia...

Started re-building #75105 Episode 7 MF with my kids a few nights ago. It's slow going as all of the pieces are together in the same container as well as the fact there is a 3 and 6 year old building. Seeing as one or both of them are the reason it was unceremoniously disassembled, it felt fitting they helped put it back together.

Lots of fun and hair pulling for me.

I posted a photo a few pages back (and in a few other places) the other week of my collection of monochrome minifigs (a newer photo is below).

A few people asked how I kept track of what was available etc., and when I said I had a spreadsheet, they asked for a copy of it for them to use.

So I’ve spent a little bit of time modifying my spreadsheet so that it’s suitable for anyone to use as a reference to what (I believe) is available.

As an aside, there are two colours on there (both transparent) which don’t currently have any parts available at all. However, given they are current colours, I thought I’d include them anyway.

I haven’t differentiated between parts which are available with and without printing, as that’s quite difficult – there will always be parts which aren’t officially available without printing, but which show up anyway.

If anyone spots a mistake, or believes there’s a part available that I haven’t noted, please let me know.

The link to download it is here.

Please note I will not be responsible for anyone getting sucked into collecting these as a result of viewing my spreadsheet!

Son wanted to build some Lego so we got out #60177 for a quick build, wasn't much for me to do apart from applying stickers and my son finished the build all too soon, so grabbed #76115 to keep the build session going.

Just built Benny's Space Squad yesterday.  I can see why so many people have said it's an instant nostalgic trip to their childhood.  It's such a love letter to the fans, feels like a set we don't deserve (new CL torso color AND old-style helmet), and very well might be the best $9.99 set they've ever produced, ever.

If this were the only set of the 2019 catalogue I were to buy, it would be enough.

...of course, it won't be, what with the new Mustang coming soon and the Marvel Bricktober pack finally becoming readily available.....

Should have snapped a picture... but I built #6949 after acquiring it off eBay just recently. That one goes right into the nostalgia tank! I never owned this set previously, but I have great memories of looking at it longingly in the 1994 catalog (I was still quite into LEGO while I was in high school). It was a very satisfying build experience for me!

@stlux, thanks for the link to the display stand for your X-Wings. I just got some new shelves and was looking for a simple display stand for Poe's X-Wing and the Y-Wing. This will do the trick!

Little bit of trivia: from 1994 to 1998, all (I think) of the Space minifigure droids had leg prining. But Star Wars' C-3PO didn't get leg printing until 2014!

Just put #30533 and #70665 together for that little and large vibe. Think I will have to do some colour swapping on the small one to get a better match.

Gonna have to order a few more pieces to widen the yellow brick road I think as its more cramped than originally planned...

Friday afternoon: Perfectly timed arrival for the weekend.

    Sunday lunchtime: What weekend?
This is an awesome set. You built it quite quickly. Sadly I’m in the progress of taking mine down as it just takes up so much room :( The taking down seems to be taking me ages.

I don't remember Saturday. Seriously, it's a blur! I don't have a lot of space for sets this big either. I usually keep them assembled for a few months then pack them back away. Generally it's actually quite fun, not sure this one will be!

I've just finished #75933 T-Rex Transport. I've wanted a big Lego dinosaur for a while, so I took the plunge and picked this set up yesterday. What I like most about it is how the rest of the build, including the figures, is very generic; the truck could be used for transporting a multitude of things and the two blue figures would make good tactical police officers/military dudes/hired mercenaries/whatever. Zia Rodriguez looks great and works well as outside the Jurassic World theme.

I was surprised at the lack of stickers; I would have expected the truck to feature some JW logos, but I'm glad that it doesn't.

Just finished building #10178 and ordered some Power Function things (battery box, motor, lights) so I can start on #76042 the SHIELD Hellicarrier that I traded with @SumoLego for!

    Gonna be fun...
