Oh, cool, mine is In Warehouse now too!

So are mine.. but didn’t they not have any updated heads and helmets in stock, 1 or 2 weeks ago....
Hope these are not the old style...

Really intrigued to know if Finch will be included in such a small production run. I'd have taken the risk and ordered a new set. Fortunate that they were out of stock of the set but were still able to send me a Finch (which won't end up on ebay).

There are now 26 Finch on eBay, the lowest price is $55 OBO. There are still 12 on BL, but the price is remaining above $100.

A lot fewer bids (or none at all) are being placed on these figures now, interest has waned severely from the hype that existed just a week or two ago.

@Brainslugged Surely a new production run will have Finch... they already changed the box and instructions for the ones that were available around November. Why would they go back to the old, incorrect version?

@560Heliport - Changing to Finch for just a small production run at the set's end of life seems just as illogical as not updating that run with Finch when he's available in other countries. I'd assume this run will have Finch, but also wouldn't be totally surprised if it didn't.

Mine was delivered today, I think it's the old style one looking at the box.

My set was delivered today but old box and minifigure.  But CS have been brilliant, they have sent me a head and helmet.  I have got the legs and body from a reduced to clear set 75195 and CS even chucked me some bonus VIP points for the trouble.

So I am disappointed I don't have the two versions of the box side by side but very happy with Lego Customer Service and their response.  Hopefully Finch will be available in a new set so he is not so rare in the future.

Mine is also delivered, old style.. it’s going to be returned.. :(

Speaking to customer service, I don’t think there will be any updated boxes for the UK.. you cannot order them anymore with CS or even ask for the updated to be sent in return for the old one they sent out..
Not sure if the codes on the boxes are different these have: 25S7

@560Heliport - I just realised you are based in the US, but I'm in the UK. Over here the updated boxes have never been seen (as far as I'm aware) and judging by the four comments above, it isn't ever going to be available here. Odd that customer services had a limited supply of them initially.

Yes likewise, spoke to cs and they are sending me the headgear but they are all out of the replacement head. So now I’m hoping the head will appear somewhere else. Alternatively If anyone has a spare head piece I’d love to trade for one.

Also apparently LEGO CS have been told to stop sending any more replacement heads and helmets out for Finch. Not enough stock apparently, but more likely they can see what’s happening on eBay..

Has anyone else realized how perfectly Finch's face would work for an unmasked T'Challa?

I got mine today - old skool.  So will take it back, I think, unless can exchange for a n o version.  Probably turn to eBay as the price is falling quick as per @samiam391  ‘s good prognosis...

    I'm glad I have a good prognosis.

Anyone got a finch helmet for sale/trade in the UK. I was sent the his head by lego and the helmet is "waiting for stock" on my order. However dont hold out much hope of this being fullfilled.

If anyone is still interested in getting a new sealed box 75188 Finch Dallow edition set, there is a seller on eBay Canada that had 9 of them for sale, reasonable price, and shipping to the UK. Take into account the import duty on them though, but for UK / EU where it didn’t exist still worth it in my eyes.

    Ebay item: 303102917701

6 left currently, and 3 on the way to the UK :)

Just a just a bump to see if anyone has a Finch Dallow helmet they would part with? Have the correct head but he’s missing something to keep his head warm

Have to laugh or cry.. they have only just arrived, never known a parcel to take so long (Canada to UK).
Nice to see the Brickset database listing these separately as 75188-2

UK here, finally got around to contacting Lego customer services. Got a nice quick reply and I'm being sent the head and helmet from the figure free of charge. It seems like an automated message but I definitely appreciate it nonetheless as I wasn't keen on paying crazy aftermarket prices for the figure. As frustrating as [email protected], can be, I've always found Lego's customer service to be top notch.

It's not like it's anything we didn't already know, but I don't think I've ever seen or heard TLG acknowledge they sometimes design sets based on loose concepts, resulting in inaccurate designs. Interesting to see.

Great they've got it in stock again, I might contact them as they only had the helmet left when I asked last time.
  • todlertodler Member Posts: 117
Thanks Matt89190, contacted CS and they are sending me the Finch Dallow helmet that has been in my orders for months.
Great customer service by Lego yet again. However they do need to sort out their shipping services. Received the Marvel poster No2 in the following, and the Lego came in a separate box.

    That shipping is ridiculous!

They ship in standard sized boxes and that is probably the smallest one that the poster fits in. I doubt you'd be happy if they folded it to put it in an A5 envelope, or if it got creased in an A4 envelope.
  • playwellplaywell Member Posts: 2,280
You can get a A4 envelope with card backing, it would be nice if Lego put posters in one even if they are then going in a box.

I'd like them to tape that envelope to some filler like a Rollercoaster or a Cinderella Castle they have strewn about the warehouse.

Matt89190 If that is just an automated reply, misspelling helmet is a nice touch. I'd guess there's a standard form that customer service uses, with the details filled in by real live people.

@datsunrobbie good spot - I didn't even catch that. You're probably right. I just got that kinda vibe where you can tell somethings been written very impersonally.
