I got the last Benny’s Space Squad #70841 at my Target, where I also got Ultrakatty #70827 for 20% off and found this new Lego Movie 2 Polybag #30529. They had all of the 2019 sets, but I resisted the urge to completely drain my wallet.

Picked up #40270 and #40273 for $4.99 each on clearance from my local LEGO store on Friday as well as #40379.  Pretty sure those are the last of the Brickheadz I'll be buying as I never had a huge interest in the theme. The two Valentine's day sets are truly for my wife instead of myself anyways.

Also grabbed some of the Xtra polybags while I was there. Glanced through the BaM bar while I was there, but I didn't have a ton of time to dig for all the pieces I would have liked to have gotten.

They did not have the 100th store minifigs when I was there.

Nice! I wonder if they're going to celebrate 000 Lego Stores in Australia too.
Yes, you'll get a special Clear VIP card, where you can pay 10% above RRP and no free shipping.  And half the sets aren't available.

But I hear the packages are delivered by Shrimp-Eating, Coral-Reef-Adorned Aboriginal Tasmanian Devil Dingos riding Boxing Kangaroos wearing Kiwi Feathered Hats, with an autographed photo of Crocodile Dundee, Ian Thorpe and Wolverine, and a Keith Urban CD from the Sydney Opera House.

I think that covers just about every America-Centric stereotype of Australians.

Oh, and Nicole Kidman.  And those handsome Hemsworths.  George Kirk!!!
You forgot- each set comes with a complimentary jar of Marmite...

Having a supportive partner can have it's own issues, especially if they end up getting into Lego too. I've had to have arguments over who is building what sets, I'm currently having to bargain with @xiahna over who gets to build the #21037 set I grabbed off BrickLink for me.
Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine, Mine!!!

I was about to ask @VorpalRyu if that was as bad as children wanting these expensive sets for their own, then @xiahna cleared that up for me! :-D

My 'problem' is children. My 8 year old thinks Lego is a toy?! His expression when he checked out all the features on the Aston Martin was priceless!

Yep, purely as an insult to Australians, because Marmite isn't actually sold anywhere here (to my knowledge).

    WHAT?!?

Actually @Baby_Yoda, Marmite is sold in most supermarkets, at least it is in South Australia, according to several friends, Marmite is the evil twin of Vegemite (wouldn't know can't stand Vegemite, ain't going near Marmite).

My project for the day, #76038, thanks Kijiji.  No deals to brag about as it was merely in line with the cheapest bricklink & ebay sales.  But that just makes it a good reminder that I need to buy #76108 on sale while it’s current.

Huh, there you go. I certainly haven't seen it anywhere in Tasmania, but it's not like I prowl every supermarket in the state for tar-like spreads. I suppose it'd be fairly unpopular in comparison to Vegemite.

And this is precisely why Australians had to be exiled to a big island on the other side of the planet - Marmite is in fact the actual nectar of the gods and vegemite is just the chinese clone equivalent, trying to make up for paradise lost! So there.

Thanks!  I’ve done bags 1-3 so far, and it’s turning out great.  It comes together fairly quick to create a sizeable building, which shouldn’t be surprising given the large panels used to give it a modern look.  I wanted this (along with #76108) to complement modulars in a city layout, as ‘smaller’ more free form type of buildings.  Which I think it will work great for that!  As a kid though I’m sure I would’ve loved all the play features in it.

First time buying from local Amazon Prime Now.

Ordered at around 10am and delivered at 1:40pm, total time less than 4 hrs.

2 sets come without any packaging, and with a big sticker pasted on the front of the boxes, the other 2 are in big recycle bags that looked like food take outs.

Surprisingly easy to peel off, actually. Not that I needed the box once the content is out of it.

Thank you costco for #42078 and #70620!  But please, no matter how good your prices are (and they’re lower than anybody else...) could you please use a shipping box?  Is that too much to ask?  I’m not a box saver mostly, glad #70620 came in a shipping box.  #42078 I’ll live with a less than pristine box, but I can see somebody being offended by this.

I've had plenty like this. A hot hairdryer on the label and a careful peel will take it off with no sign of it ever having been there.

Not Lego exactly ... but related. I finally tired of the Lego being everywhere. the problem seems so much worse after Christmas. It's not only taken over the lounge but it was filling up the kids toy boxes leaving no room for the other toys.

So we decided we were going to move all the Lego into our room and set up an area to build in there. But before we begin moving it we just needed better storage.

So after some research decided to pick up a set of the 8x9.5 Really Useful Scrapbook Drawers. They had them reduced in our local hobbycraft. I also ordered some of the 15 section trays from the Really Useful site to go with them and wow, I love it!

All the Lego in one place, I can wheel it about easily and it looks great. The latest problem is I've only sorted a small amount so far and it's getting pretty full. I'm going to need at least one more, if not two.

Downside of all of this, no spare money for Lego this month. :(

Got my hands on #75224 and #75225 today, which had only just come out in local stores. I'm a little disappointed to be only getting this year's sets a month later than last year. I guess if Lego have cracked down on leaks, maybe they're cracking down on early store releases too?
