When it comes to City/Creator we can get lucky & they'll turn up at Woolworths about seven to nine months after initial release date, it's the Superheroes & Star Wars polys that really hurt. Out of the Marvel ones, we got #30525, #30610, #5002946, #5002943, #5003084 & #30168, several of which were pre-order bonuses for buying Lego Marvel video games. We've done about as well on the DC front, SW is mildly better, but not by much.

Looking at all these cool new polys on Instagram & in the Brickset database, plus in this thread, I wonder how many we'll get versus how many we don't (expecting the Popcorn won't be one as I'd want three or four of that printed part). You guys are so lucky in this regard.
The grass is always greener: Sure, I have easy access to most LEGO polybags; but you should see how people stare at me when I am playing my didgeridoo.

Anybody spotted #30408 anywhere yet? I'm a sucker for these small flower builds!

Isn’t that the goal when playing a didgeridoo?

Today I grabbed #31084 for $35, can't believe that set is already being cleared out.

    It’s not really a polybag, though :)

Two Walmarts I stopped at today had #30528 at $2.

I saw the same thing at a Walmart today. Also grabbed that Harry Potter Poly and Jurassic World 2 Velociraptor Playpen, same price.

Anyone have the UPC for the popcorn

I picked up 2 #30381 polys at Walmart in the clearance aisle. If I'd had more money, I probably would have bought more and put them around my UCS Star Destroyer, though they'd be a little to large in scale.

Yay, I got my popcorn cart at Walmart!

I'll have to keep an eye out for the popcorn vendor.

Found the Popcorn cart at a Walmart.
LEGO stores now have the #40341 Xtra polybag with sea accessories in it at the stores.
Also at the Schaumburg IL LDC, no new polys or the #40374 LEGOland Vehicle safety set yet, but found #853810 LEGO locomotive ornament for 8 dollars
Looks like it was a UK exclusive

Does anybody else wish that Target would just clearance out the checkout lane polys? The stores around me are still full of TLBM, TLNM, Kylo's shuttle, mini Milano, etc, with Harry Potter and now the 3-in-1 Emmet one stuck on the front.of the racks.

Meanwhile the Wal-Mart I visited today had not yet reset and had zero polybags.Hoping that next time I stop by there will be all new selections.

I’m beginning to think my stores will still have them and those TLNM CMFs until the end of time...

Walmart stores will discount polys to 1 to 2 dollars, Targets seem to hold them as long as they can at retail, but Walmart's lifecycle plan for LEGO is apparently about 6 months, then discount them to move them off the shelves (and sometimes much quicker than that as the Metalbeard poly is being found for 2 dollars I believe)

Problem with target is they use the same dpci code of 90% of polybags. Only the ones with different codes they get around holidays get clearanced.

#30354 Hot Rod polybags from 2017 are still hanging at the checkout at the Target closest to me, along with Ninjago CMFs. The closest Walmart rarely gets any polybags at all.

I did manage to pick up a few of the Jurassic World poly for $2 at my Walmart as well, which is a great surprise since my Walmart sucks big and almost never has any of the awesome mark downs I see others post about.
  • BrickByBrickBrickByBrick Member Posts: 748
My Walmart never carried the JW poly but a week ago there was a single one for $3, bought it because I couldn't see it lasting til next markdown
  • CaptainRogersCaptainRogers Member Posts: 869
I also found it for $2 at most Walmart stores around here.
  • MegtheCatMegtheCat Member Posts: 500
I don't think my Walmart has the polys marked down because they have tons of them. But then, there are no clearance stickers on them or the shelves, so maybe no one would notice.

I almost never see clearance tags on polys. Gotta scan ‘em.
  • MegtheCatMegtheCat Member Posts: 500
^Well, I already have all of the old ones I want so I didn't check them. I am only looking for new polys at the moment. As long as they tend to stick around in the stores closest to me I don't know what the hurry is :-)

But if they are on clearance some lucky person could really clean up!

I picked up the Popcorn Vendor today and I also found the Hot Dog Vendor and Jurassic World bags marked down to $2.00.

YEah unfortunately I think all of the hot dog vendor bags are gone in most, if not all, of the Walmarts I have gone to.
So, are the #30529 Emmet polys only available in certain areas of the US? I checked brickseek and I find nothing at all in Target's system (even though some reportedly found them there) and none for Walmart in my area

I went to a Walmart that brickseek said had two dozen #30382 at $2, only to find none. Came home with a Metalbeard and Kylo’s shuttle at $2 each as a consolation :-/
I really wanted an army of baby velociraptors.

Probably embargoed until closer to the Movie release...

Or stuck in shipping containers waiting for the government shutdown to end so they can be processed...

After finding the Popcorn cart at Walmart, I decided I wanted the matching Hot Dog cart, and bought it off eBay. I poured the pieces into a little tray, and began assembling the minifig first. Then I couldn't find the head. Where the hell is the head?? Then I found it - it was inside the little Lego trashcan. :) So I guess the moral of the story is, look inside the trashcan.

Which poly is this? Comes up as picture on brickseek for target's generic polys but link to amazon takes to #30405 stephanie's hockey practice.
LEGO Value Pack - Styles May Vary

Edit: Found it #30062 from 2010.

And, unsurprisingly, a Target exclusive apparently.

^That one stayed on the pegs for a loooong time. You could really say that about all Target polys though, as previously mentioned .

Yep, meanwhile, 30062-2 Walmart Practice went on clearance at some locations before others had even put them on shelves and 30062-3 TRU Practice was free with a minimum purchase, but sold out immediately because  LEGO "collectors" convinced a store employee to sell them all of the polybags directly.

A thorough summary of the U.S. polybag supply chain, nice!

Walmart, Mountain View, Calif. has plenty of #30364 Popcorn Cart, #30340 Emmet's Piece Offering, #30572 Creator Race Car. Lot's of new LEGO in general.

Was at local LDC on Saturday and found 2 #30525.  Just 2 which was perfect.  I had picked up only 1 previously at TrU the only time I found this poly before I realized I NEED all 3 to hook together.  Like 3 days later went back to TrU and they were gone, and next thing I know, TrU was gone.  Never thought I'd find them in store again.

Also found #40347 at LDC so that was cool.

My guess is the #30408 Tulip polybag will, IIRC the LDC got the #30404 sunflower poly before anyone else did and it probably will be cheaper in other places as LDC is 5 dollars, I just bought a few because I did not want to make that assumption and find out I missed out on them for some reason

A typo again on my part, I meant #30408 (the new tulip poly) in reply to @madforLEGO's post. I actually was able to pick up a number of #30404 both at retail and at 50% off.
