Bumblepants BonusBall Bonanza! Vibrant Coral Edition

BumblepantsBumblepants DFWMember Posts: 6,049
To start the year off right I will do a new bonusball. You know the drill, first 59 to comment with an answer to the question are in the running. Someone in the UK who knows stuff will tell us what number gets picked and the corresponding comment wins something I will send them. (It will be the end of the month before I can mail something so you will have to be a little patient.)

As per the title, the question revolves around the new Lego color Vibrant Coral. Tell us what brick(s) you really want to be made available in Vibrant Coral now that it is in the color palate. If you hate Coral you can pick another recolor you would want to see happen. My choices would be the 1x2 brick pattern brick or 1x2 with groove brick!

I do love a cheese slope.  That would be my only wish!

I don’t know the technical name but the 2x1 bricks that look like brickwork. I’m imagining some underwater buildings.

Ohhh never new there was a new colour. My choice would be a whole monofigure in a cheap set. That would save me a few pennies.

As with any new colours - 1x4, 1x2 and 1x1 bricks, and in decent quantities.

15429 Cat Tail - or "DESIGNING PLATE 1X2X2". I'm sure that combined with the right colours for the other parts, Unikitty would look great with a Vibrant Coral tail! :)

    Thanks for hosting @Bumblepants!

I've not been lucky enough to pick up one of the new sets yet so not sure what is available in the new colour. But my answer to this (and any new colour for that matter) would be a 2×2 Round brick. No other reason other than I love them. :) I also like the same ones but with the little grooves in. Starting to think I might have a problem...

Might sound obvious but any of the plant pieces would look good in this colour and would be a nice addition to any underwater landscape.

    Thanks for hosting @Bumblepants

    Happy New Year!

I’d like to see leaves, flowers and ‘brick, modified 2x2 curved top with 2 top studs’ in vibrant coral.

    Thanks for hosting.

Only thing I can think of is the plant pieces, and maybe the 1x2 and 1x4 masonry bricks.

Thanks for hosting the first one of the year.

I'd have the Speedchampions wheel arch pieces in the new colour!

i'd have said 2x4 but @DeMontes beat me to it, so 2x2 instead then :)

Thanks for hosting & Happy new year

I think I'd like a 2x1 plate or possibly the 2x2 brick with bow- a new colour to mod a MF X-wing

I didn't have an answer, but seeing this I'm seconding this choice ;-)...or brick separators :-P

I might have put her up to it / given her a head start but my daughter collects "hearts" (made out of 2x part 3176) in all available colours. Vibrant Coral would obviously be a great addition to the palette ;-)

This has to be my pick as well! Would look awesome for underwater coral formations. It's even in the name :)

Like others, I'd definitely be up for a monofig and a 2x4, but also Mixel ball joints just to prove they don't have to be grey.

Another vote for plant, especially flower parts. I get the feeling it might be too bright and colourful to be an effective stalk/base piece, but would add some great colour to a flower display. In that respect, even something like a 1x1 round plate with open stud would be great!

My vote would be for a 2x2 tile.  It would make for a nice sidewalk.
  • amokamok Istanbul, TurkeyMember Posts: 43
My vote would be the "fish" piece.

I think it's a great trim color for buildings, so I would like to see the 1x2x2 or 1x2x3 windows. Or even better, shutter pieces

First off - thanks for hosting @Bumblepants!

This seems like the perfect color to add some flair to the landscape, so my vote would be for some plant/flower elements in the color. Also, the fish seems like an absolutely perfect fit!

    Thanks for doing this @Bumblepants.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a teal baseplate. I could see how this could be pulled off as frozen water and would look good in a winter village scene.

I would love to see a window frame in this color in order to make a custom modular with an entire floor that uses coral and other blues (similar to the Detective's Office)

Not a fan of pink / salmon bricks, but sand red / blue / green always appeals, so anything extra in those!

Definately 1x1, 1x2 and 2x4’s, and obviously in decent amounts to actually be useful.

    thanks for hosting
