I dropped Grand Emporium immediately (it's not going EOL this year anyway) and picked the best looking box of all 3 IFs. After I paid and was leaving the store the same guy told me that I was lucky, because the manager on duty (the same one that gave me the 2 PAB Boxes), ordered him to put the prices of $179.99 back on them. I think they haven't sold a single IF since Brick Friday, and the price mistakenly remained on the boxes for that long. I am glad I was able to "take advantage" and have it at that price.
So, just to keep us back on the topic: This is another of those "discrepancies" that end up benefiting us, so let's keep it like that.
"I was wondering if you could clear something up for me. On my initial purchase during the promotion [show receipt], I received a free PaB for every $75 spent. On this latest one, I was hoping it would be the same, but it fell somewhat short. If this was an oversight and I can still get one per $75, that would be great!"
At any rate, I'm glad that you have cooled off a bit.
Will try later this week, at the end of the day, will have to put something in them so they don't go to waste, but really wish there was some good stuff.
^ I've managed to pick up quite a few of the the following recently:
1x4 dark green tiles
1x4 brown tiles
1x2 lime green tiles
1x8 white tiles
1x8 navy blue tiles
2x2 tan tiles
2x2 yellow tiles
2x2 red tiles
I'm a sucker for tiles, especially those I can see as part of a sidewalk, nature scene or roofing. I also can't resist any/all transparent bricks.
I may try and load up on stuff I can use for some microscale models.
I may go to Aventura to try and get different pieces from their PAB wall too, if I get to buy some extra boxes.
(rubbish photo, sorry! This is an M&S greeting card, would you believe?!)
I only picked up two boxes but was considering buying a few more. Maybe I can do something quick if Aventura has something I'm interested but March will be over quite soon.
I might add you will never see such a well-protect polybag shipment in the history of the world. this thing was wrapped in bubble wrap, inserted inside a ziploc, which was wrapped in more layers of bubble wrap and paper wadding, which was inserted inside the bubble mailer. I felt bad for shipping him the Kendo Jay booster pack merely inserted inside a bubble mailer without any additional protection.
I have less time to build nowadays so this statistical analysis doesn't get applied to my PaB hauls but I enjoyed your photo as it definitely reminded me of this. I just filled a PaB box at the Rockefeller Center LEGO Store in NYC so perhaps this weekend I will go back to my old ways.
Here are some pics of PaB finds.

Here is a study in PaB cups in which a friend and I filled 2 large cups with 1x2 bricks in a way that once unpacked nearly filled 3 PaB cups.

I wrote my haul into a notebook, but then I transferred everything to an Excel Spreadsheet where I keep track of all my PaB items (I don't part sets, I keep all of them together). I'm an excel-freak and I use it constantly to inventory my things.
I saw on April's Lego Store Calendar that on the 10th and 11th they will have a special promotion when you fill out a large cup and pay the price of the smaller cup. Does anyone know if we can fill more than one cup on the same visit to the store. If yes, I will probably spend my day filling cups at the store.
@bmwlego how long it took to fill each cup with those 1x2 bricks on that organized manner?
