Did they just re-add the Cartwheel coupon for #75204 Sandspeeder today?

I feel bad, because my wife used the same coupon on the set for me for Christmas a couple weeks ago but it was still full price then, so ended up being $23.99. When she used the coupon it had an expiration date on it. Of course the flip side is if she hadn't, there wouldn't be any left around here right now.  She bought some other stuff to get the gift card too though, so returning it would be an absolute hassle (especially as she's used the gift card already). I guess this is what we get for trying to not be last minute shoppers.

#75207 Imperial Battle Back is also down to $6.29 online.
    #21029 Buckingham Palace is $39.99.
    #41156 Princess Rapunzel's Castle Bedroom is $11.20.
The receipt should tell you how much you'll receive back if you return the item.  The way Target does it is they split the cost of the gift card across all the items that were part of the deal and each item will have a new return value stated on the receipt.  If the current sale price + CW discount is less than what you'd receive if you returned it, you might still want to do a return/rebuy.

I did the exact same thing this past Sunday for the BTTF Brickheadz set.  I bought it as part of the $10 gift card promo they ran recently but the 30% off CW for this week made it a few dollars cheaper compared to how much the receipt said I could return it for.  Since I was at Target anyway and had the receipt on me, I asked if I could do a return/rebuy with the CW and they allowed it.

LEGO design on Target giftcard, a couple minifigs and a lego-ized version of the Target dog. May as well get one with the minimum load

This is something you saw today?

    Edit:

    Ah. This.

I thought it was a gift card that came with two Minifigures and a dog.

Found it so weird that most of the sets were gone except a large selection of a particular Target exclusive.

I finally found the Target LEGO gift card with the Doghouse. It was at only one Target near me.

11.99 is a pretty great deal for that set IMO, 10 is just a round number :-)

Other than this set, the local Targets near me had stacks of the Target Exclusive Sandspeeder.

I did ok at the Burnsville target tonight. Got a #21041 Great Wall (last on the shelf) for $34.98, and two #76085 Battle of Atlantis for $7.98. I didn’t see any other great deals, but I arrived late to the party.

Walmart.com still has them (for some reason). I ordered them from Walmart when I missed out on [email protected] and Target (guessing people bought out Target because of the 5% red card discount)

    Picked up
    2 #41631 Newt and Grindelwald for $9.98,
    a #41620 Stormtrooper for $6.98,
and a #76100 Royal Talon Fighter for $20.98 at Edina.

Saw a few 30% clearance brickheadz near me as well, and a hanful of other sets. Not quite worth it for parts
Yes, minifigure and dog referred to the design of the gift card rather than any actual LEGO.

Back up to $19.99 at that Target.

The Friday before Christmas they had maybe 6 on the shelf for the $11.98 price.  I expected them to all be gone, but when I returned after Christmas they had maybe a dozen more at the regular price on the shelf.   Makes you wonder if they still have plenty more in back.

  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,481
A couple Targets near me have suddenly acquired sets that were long gone before Christmas, like #75168 and #76100. But their shelves are getting pretty bare of clearance sets now.

I picked up two of those to add to the 8 I already had that were $7 at Walmart last August.
I like the sand green parts, but I must say, there are four pretty useless minifigs in that set, so it’s probably not as great a deal as it seems (for parts). Even Aquaman is only going for <$2 on BL.

Edina has a bunch of #31066 and #76077 for $16.78. I picked up another of each.

Bloomington store has a pretty packed clearance aisle. Some highlights:
    #75887 $10.48
    #76103 $19.98
    #60164 $13.98
    #76085 $11.18 (cheaper elsewhere)
    #10739 $13.98

I grabbed a few #76103 for parts and figs. It’s a good price/parts deal, but I’ll hold them and see if it gets even cheaper. 20+ left on the shelf.

Didn't know it existed, Thanks. I see they made a Friends version. A couple days after Christmas, I've seen Both Target LEGO gift cards at every Target now. Mountain View, Redwood City, Sunnyvale. They must have got them in late.

Ordered #21148, #21149, #21150 Minecraft bigfigs and #70821 Emmet and Benny's Build and Fix workshop today, 20% off retail and %5 Red Card, free ship-to-store. A little odd that they are listed as in stock at the store where I'm picking up, but cannot order for "store pickup" instead of "ship to store".

Recently I have seen a lot of in-store prices higher than website prices at Target, so don't forget to check the site if making a purchase at a brick-and-mortar store.

Yep...I just price matched for 20% off the systar Starship. Also if they don't have something on the shelf, they can get it from the back.

Trying to get the local Target to check in the back is just an exercise in frustration. On December 1 all 3 Advent calendars were listed as in stock, but none on the shelves. Three different Target employees looked them up and told me "they're in the back, come back tomorrow or Monday and they might be out". Saved me some money because I decided I did not really need the calendars.

It is because they have not redone their aisles. I had someone check for me today, since it shows as at the store, but not on the shelf, and when they check their inventory is wonky. The other person working their explained it is because they are redoing that aisle, and the sets should be on the shelves in a few days. The only one I found at another target was the bigfig skeleton one. I had them price match that,

I bought a #70614 at the Brooklyn Center store for $41.98. Considering it has 876 pieces, I thought that was pretty good. They had one or two left.

I also noticed a sign saying that store is closing permanently on February 2nd. Might be worth checking out for deals if you live nearby. It’s a bit out of the way for me.

More likely they're working on other people's cars.  A little Spinjitzu helps getting a transmission to work, or to fire up a rebuilt engine.

I found a #75180 for $39.21 with a “Repackage” sticker, a big rip in the front, and an opened bag 3. Assuming there is only supposed to be one bag of each number, it looks like everything is probably there. All the figs seem to be.
