    I'd like to know what the '5 Star Wars *items*' are - if they're nothing special I don't mind not getting this promo so much, but still it's silly to offer special minifigure back to America again - they already won the white gold Black VIP R2-D2 - let the rest of the world have a chance!

    Not overly impressed, but not surprised with the fact this isn't being offered worldwide and after the complete lack of worthwhile Black Card promos and with the current trend of high spend thresholds to get a GWP, if I'm honest, I probably wouldn't bother for an unspecified promotional gift.
    That coupled with the fact that out of the current crop of Star Wars sets, there is very little that I would be willing to spend full price on just to get this if it was available makes it so much easier not to get pi##ed off about this.

    Doesn't seem too bad of a promo if indeed all 5 of those are in the box. Still nothing in Europe.

    So anyone in USA is able to get more exclusive items than members of the exclusive Star Wars benefit/offer.

    I meant we bought the milf, but then every time there was a promo for the black card it required other additional buying to get it. This deal gets you five polybags for a single $100 buy.

    Reached out to CS: they're not aware of any plans to release the SW promotion in Europe this month. CS doesn't have the list for January promotions yet, so no information yet whether there's any hope at all.

    The Lego Star Wars marketing team continues to drop the ball in 2018 and makes sure that the year will have been a disappointment from start to finish.

    I don't have any of those 5 figures... but the only SW LEGO I want but don't already have is #75220 Sandcrawler, and I don't really want to spend that much right now... :(

    Box isn't adding to my cart. LEGO Chat Support told me the following:

    "Okay I just spoke to my manager who spoke to the warehouse. They were supposed to receive delivery for the Star Wars™ boxes but the delivery is delayed. We can't place anything into orders that's not on stock. May I please ask you to wait a few hours and try again?"

    It is odd they would even bother this close to Christmas. If people are still shopping last-minute panic is the reason.

    Wow, this box promo is a total “FU” from LEGO to black VIP card holders. Unbelievable. I wonder if they got enough complaints to pull it from the site or if it was just meant to go live on a different day. It would have been really nice of LEGO to mail it out as a surprise gift. Oh well

    Well, my holder arrived today.  The high quality plastic bag they picked just couldn't hold in the awesomeness of this set.  Sums up kinda how I feel.

    Well the "surprise box" promo was enough to finally get me to buy something to get my Black VIP Card holder. So I bought Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter.

    I seem to have done this though after all mentions of the promo were removed from the site though - except the item still got added to my cart and is in my order confirmation? I assume this means I'll get it?

    I've got at least one of all the polybags in that fancy box - and I never win anything in lottery-style draws - so I'm not too angsty about missing that American reward. Also, my Black VIP card reward came today and was in really good shape (sealed) with decent torso printing so it's not all bad...

    Received my card holder last week, and the bag was still intact. 

    As for this new box, I have three of the five, and am only interested in one of the two I don't have (the Scarif Stormtrooper). Of course it sounds like Lego completely messed it up anyway. 

    I honestly just expected better from such a highly regarded company as Lego.

    My card holder just arrived.  Bag was split, and pieces were falling out of the cardboard box before I'd even opened it.  Just checked against the inventory, and I'm missing a 2x1 wedge - probably rattling around in the back of Mr DHL's van.  Part of me thinks it's not worth ringing CS tomorrow - I can probably find a suitable replacement in my spares box - and part of me thinks 'It's the principle of the thing!'

    Not impressed.

    I’m not normally a complanier, but with LEGO at the moment I think you have you say something.. talk to CS and say you want a replacement sent.. parts missing due to their cheap packaging!

    I will call.  Just not today.  Flipping freephone number is blocked on our work phone system, and I'm one of the three people left in the country who refuses to have a mobile phone.

    Definitely contact CS. TLG deserve to be punished badly for this whole thing and even if that's only by incurring more postage costs for them, it's worth doing.

    This final (?) offer is a pretty mediocre effort by them, at best, on a good day, with the wind behind them, being generous.

    They really could have easily offered us a few more things that wouldn't have taken any effort at all, TK-421 and scanning crew, or I dunno, five polybags in a nice commemorative box or something.

    We should feel privileged to know that the worst thing that's happened to us is a toy company didn't send us a satisfactory free gift for purchasing a $700 box full of plastic. It should put things in perspective.

    I agree with your sentiment, but, then said company shoudln't have hyped it and been a lot clearer with what 'Exclusive' and 'throughout the year' promotions were! :)

    Especially since $700 is what it would have cost me if I got it on double VIP points and considered that a “discount”, but I bought at full RRP with single VIP assuming the black card would make it worth it. To quote Chris Farley “Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!”

    Did LEGO really hype it that much? I think there was way more LEGO created hype over the "opening night" than the actual black card, and I imagine most attendees at the event would have gone to that, black card or not.
