  There are far worse ratios than that, where the set was easily available and cheap or a giveaway. A high Owned/wanted ratio (or low wanted/owned ratio) is not necessarily a sign of a crappy set.

  They are certainly not crappy sets, just ones where the people that want them tend to have them. 

  
  

  For crappy sets, you could look for ones where the total owned and the total wanted is low. And even then, you probably want to ignore all old sets as numbers tend to be low for those anyway, ignore all gear, duplo and non-AFOL interest items. But even that picks up things people don't know much about, for example:

  
  

  #SHIMAO-1 (3 own 42 want), certainly not crappy. Just unknown.

  
  

  So maybe you are after a low total (wants+haves) but a high ratio of have/want.
