    There is a fair amount of things I am interested in but nothing I probably can't find in dumpy WalMart for 50-70% off next month

    I just want the Christmas box. I thought they were to be giving the Peguine Hut out in store too? The email only mentions the Ninjago Bricktober set. I held off going in last weekend (with double points) in order to get the penguin today. None of the sets I intend to grab were ever going to be on sale. :/

    I work Friday afternoon like usual, so I wouldn't be able to detour to the mall, especially since the bus there doesn't run in the middle of the day. Since I'm not interested in the big exclusives, the sales I see online don't stand out. Tapped out at stores closer to home anyway.

    The Ghostbusters Firehouse was $279.99 for me in the store. I used $100 of VIP points and got it for $190 after tax.

    Sorry, I didn't ask what all they had. I knew what I wanted before I got to the store. I would call before heading out to the store.

    I think they must have pulled some items to fix their entries as the Ferrari #75889 set is no longer found on the site (it was showing on sale, but was full price in the cart)

    DO on backorder, but Brick Bank shows sold out when checking its actual entry

    Last night shortly after midnight the FO Star Destroyer was listed on sale, but showed up full price in the cart. I ordered it anyway, and now it is not even listed on S@H. I saved the screen shot, and will use that as proof when I call Lego.

    I just got back from my local store. They still had plenty of the Detectives Office,  Brick Bank and GBHQ. They only had 2 of the Vesta sets. Those went early. They also were still handing out the exclusive store opening minifigs....lol. I got numbers #454 and #459 out of 500. Only took them a month to go through them.

    Just got back from Tysons store.
    They had like 6-8 DO left for 20% off.  They first had it labeled original prices as $200 and marked down to $160 which is probably why no one touched it.
    The GB firehouse was $280 like others have mentioned.  As for speed champions, it was the Mercedes set that was discounted and not the Ferrari so this is probably why the markdown didn't show online.  Also, the sanctum sanctorum was marked down 30% rather than 20% online.

    One more thing, they were making sure to only give one ninjago bricktober set.  When I made two separate transactions to get two ninjago bricktober sets, the manager said no.  When I told her a worker said it would be okay, shereemphasized to the employees over her headset that they need to be strict with the ninjago bricktober set.  Funny thing is on the receipt, the bricktober set comes up as "TRU bricktober."

    This was the list of door busters at my store, I didn't buy any of them, but the detectives office tempted me. Just went for the Bricktober figs

    Update: Called Lego, they would not honor the price saying it was a glitch in their system. Told them I would just return it since they are other places that sell it for cheaper. Asked for a prepaid return shipping, which they initially said they would not cover, but decided they would in this case. Comped me 500 VIP points for the snafu and said I could keep the Christmas promotion set. Not exactly a happy customer, but I appreciate the effort.

    They sucked me back in again. Went to MoA LEGO store around 5 pm. Got the #76108 Sanctum Sanctorum for $69.99, #21019 Eiffel Tower for $27.99, and #41606 Star Lord for $7.99. That got me over $99 so I got another #40292. Then I used my $70 in VIP points, so I paid about $39 after tax. 

    They still had DO, Tower Bridge, GBHQ, Slave I. Didn’t see either BB or Fishing Store on the shelves. An employee told me that the sale on Tower Bridge was essentially permanent, strongly implying an impending retirement.

    oh noes did i miss the brick bank :( how long did it last? tell me it went out in the first minute to make me feel better? ;). Hopefully I'll be able to get a copy before it's out.

    So last night I ordered the Detectives Office @ 143.99. This morning the price was 127.99. I tried to get customer service to change the price but they could not since the item was about to be shipped. Instead I was given $20 in vip points so not bad. 

    Later in the day I get shipping info and boom the price on the invoice is 127.99. So much win!

    Has anybody else had trouble emailing their wish list to someone else? I have tried twice now last night and this morning, and the person has not gotten the email. The second time I added my own address so I could see what was going on. Nothing, several hours later.

    I'm convinced that "backorder" for them just means it's on a pallet at a warehouse rather than sorted at one of their shipping facilities because everything I've ever ordered that was "backorder" shipped within a couple days.

    I placed an order yesterday for the holiday train. It was listed as "backorder". It shipped today.

    Good counterpoint. I'm guessing the difference is that was a new product that was still in active production, so they could backorder as many they wanted. With things like the Old Fishing Store and other near-retirement products, what they have produced is all that will ever be available so their inventory management should be pretty set.

    I ordered a Ultimate Batmobile at 11 PM central time and managed to snag the 30% off discount. It showed up from the get-go as "Backorders Accepted - Will Ship in 30 Days". Whatever. I'm in no rush. Just glad I finally got it for under $100.

    Not surprised. While 97.99 is a good price (IMO), I think many got this set from Walmart when it was reduced down to 60 dollars, or less in some instances.

    I only want it for the Polka Dot Man and I just can't spend $100 on Polka Dot Man. My Arkham plans are getting really crowded anyway.

    (I've long since given up on the Rogues Gallery.  Just too many obscure villains to keep track of.  Or I just refused to own that terrible brick-built Steppenwolf.  Or because - Steppenwolf.)

    Really? I kinda love that the hoards of Apokolips are kinda ramshackle in Lego. It seems somehow fitting. Darksied is a big fig, Steppenwolf is a brick built cinematic version, the Female Furies are minidolls, and the Parademons are minifigs. The entire ensemble is somehow much more menacing for it's violent disharmony. :D

    I'm hoping that, by some miracle, the Winter Gift GWP will still show up on orders of $99+ once the Holiday Carousel GWP goes live on Saturday.

    I guess these aren't exactly good deals but S@H added more sets to the sale list. This includes Tower Bridge and Mountain Cave at 10% off. A few sets were added for 20% too like the City Cargo Terminal, Friends snow resort sets, the Modular Family Villa, and Fun at the Beach.

    According to the Brick Fan, the Jurassic World Bricktober minifigure set will be available at Lego stores only (no online) Dec. 14-16.

    Ian Malcolm is not worth $99! Does every GWP really need such a ridiculously expensive threshold? What happened to $35, $50 or even $75? I know it's the holidays but it just seems greedy on Lego's part.

    By the way, I'd probably cave if it was the Marvel Bricktober set😚!
