It’s available now from Creations 4 Charity. Somebody go buy it!
Of all grey
Very tiny
Greebling!
It does look very very nice. My son will go nuts tomorrow morning! And then I'll have to go searching for the missing bits...
@Fauch - we'll have to compare notes on the build. Do you have lots of pieces left over? I have a fair few...
I enjoyed BB. The money laundering build was a lovely surprise. I knew it was in there, but the actual build caught me by surprise. I did not know what I was building until I was nearly done.
Assembly square i had mixed feelings about. Started well, then got rather bored with the build around the dance studio. Just seemed rather dull and repetitive. The roof area behind the digger buckets is just weird and unfinished feeling. Rest of the build was enjoyable. But was my least favourite build so far. Maybe was just not in the zone. As a completed build it looks great and am very happy with it on the street.
I have 2.5 baseplates of space left so can fit DD and whatever the new one will be but then the hard decisions will have to be made.
Until then the Ewok village is under attack.
Since finding some of my childhood Lego (see earlier post) I have been on a bit of a building streak.
- got BWE built. Awesome build, but blimey that is a beast. Kids really enjoyed playing with it and figured out the controls v quickly. Really itching to make a GBC now.
- keeping on the big theme I then got the Saturn V built. A straightforward build, but with some mind blowing techniques. Not had a building experience quite like it.
- then sprinkled around these I have built a scattershot of Star Wars sets: #75176 #75170 #75135 #75152. All nice little builds. Transport pod was rather meh, but I expected that. Has some nice parts and minifigs though. I also now really want a lassat and a UCS Ghost. And have an urge to watch Rogue one again.
Next build will be scarif set, and thinking I will have to get the rest of my R1 sets out and built to have a complete collection on display.
But before then I will have to make some hard descions about what to pack away.
The steering is very rudimentary and could be done much more comprehensively but I didn't want to take half the cab apart to get to the workings, that'll come at a later time.
The rest is fairly simple, and I would like to add details such as Air lines etc, and power functions too. I had to strengthen the pin plate on the first trailer (though I think it's a weak point on the original model), and the second pin had to drop another stud so all worked out nicely. I also had to move the wheels out half a stud on the leading trailer to clear the frame for lift steady.
The one thing I would like to change is the longitudinal sloppiness of the fifth wheels, it's very irritating but haven't come up with solution yet (time issue mostly)
As an aside we also managed to find the chase figure for Wizarding World so pretty chuffed with that too :)
Similar to mine then. It does seem like a lot to me, but maybe that's normal for a nearly 2k set with lots of detail...
Got lego darthvader 75534 from girlfriend. So that's what I build recently.
Always been secptical about lego buildable figures but this set is amazing. The pieces and plasict feel high quality and it does look great as a stand alone about anywhere in the house. Unfortunatly the other starwars figures dont look halve as good.
It is however a lot sturdier than I'd thought it would be...
