How much?

About to look at the database and try and id the sets here.  so not being lazy (kind of).

A friend has offered this lot to me and I want to it but don't want to offend him by offering too little.

Can anyone advise me on how much this lot would be worth?  Some instruction and bits of the boxes are present.

I am about to look at Brickset and Ebay but thought someone here might have an idea.

Thanks in advance.

Pretty nice pile of stuff but also pretty filthy. It will take some time and effort to get it cleaned so factor that in.

maybe ask him what he wants for it?

i got offered a bulk lot a couple years ago (friend of a friend) and they were only expecting £20 for it, I ended up giving them £80. I was happy with that price and they were over the moon!

@alexwil he knows that Space Lego can go for a lot that's the problem.  He has said mates rates but don't want to go to high

I'm with Alex...let the friend tell you what he wants first.  i dont see a problem even if he does know the value of space lego.  If too high for you, make a counter offer...or if not, as a friend, suggest ideas to help him get what he wants from it.  Suggest he cleans it up, organize it into 100% complete sets, and so on and so on....he might just drop his price for you

He's got some good stuff. Really good actually and it might clean up really nicely, and it might all be complete. Even so, I would want to score this job lot for around £120 but definitely no more than £150. Actual estimate of value based on 918, 6970, a couple of ships I can see and three other models I know are worth about £40 each is somewhere around £450 (but not in this condition)... I'm ignoring boxes and assuming instructions. Just an opinion.

Was it stored in an attic in the heat? I see a lot of browned white minifigs. How’s the clutch? Heat can affect that.
