Another week, another bonus ball, and yay! my turn to host! For those who don’t know the rules, write your answers below and the first 59 unique entrants will get a number. This is open worldwide. The bonus ball drawn in the UK lottery on Saturday 29th September 2018 will decide the winner. If you fancy hosting one of these yourself, drop @snowhitie a PM.

So, on to this week's question. Now I'm a fan of multiple answers, ha ha (all in one post though, please) as you may have noticed, so this week's question is a 3 parter. For your chance to win your choice of either #40298 Star Wars DJ or #30111 Harry Potter The Lab just tell me:

1) What's the oldest item still on your brickset wanted list? ie What item has been on there the longest time and is still on there? (Sort your list by "date added" and it will be the item at the top, if you can't remember.)
2) What's the most recent (newest) item you've added to your wanted list?

3) What's your most wanted LEGO item on your wanted list and why?

For me it's:
1) #7199 Indiana Jones Temple of Doom
2) #30617 Jessica Cruz Green Lantern poly (should be out with LEGO Aquaman Rage of Atlantis blu ray dvd on 8th October in the UK which I just found out today!)
and
3) #10196 Grand Carousel
Always wanted the set since I first saw it in the LEGO catalogue but wanted to see it built in the brick before parting with £179.99. Went all the way to Westfield London to see it, only to find it had sold out everywhere I could access at the time only a week before, as LEGO had retired the set that summer. Aaaargh, that was my biggest lesson in set retirement, and it quickly became my unicorn set. Now nearly 8 years later, I am nearly there with the dream of amassing all the parts to build my own one, thanks to awesome fellow LEGO fans and of course, brickset. So exciting! :o)

So that's my answer. And if you don't have a wanted list, what?! you need to get one! :o) Don't worry though if you don't have a list, just tell me what's your most wanted LEGO item and why because I like everybody to be able to take part. If you have a list though, all 3 answers, please.

I have caught up my wanted list to fairly recent and given up on listing pipedream older sets I will never actually get. So
1) the CMF Butcher
2)Cho cmf for the nougat owl and the Bean there, Donut that kiosk.
3) Ninjago City Docks. Although if I fail to get the Elves Treehouse for my kids Christmas I will be in a lot of trouble.

Mine would be:

1, #10175 Vader's Tie Advanced from 2006 (although build wise it's looking dated compared to modern sets but it's Vader's ship , end of).

2, #75230 Porg was the most recent addition to my wanted list. I really wasn't all that keen when I first heard about it but after seeing it, it looks quite good. It also has the benefit of having loads of useful parts in it that can utilised somewhere else if I get fed up with it.

3, Up until recently, #10179 would have been top of the list but that has now been rectified with the release of #75192. Next up would have been #10030 but whilst browsing on another Lego forum came across a MOC for a 'moderately sized Star Destroyer ' that has taken the sets place.
That leaves 3 that are on equal standing for the 'wish I'd got that at the time' list.
#10228 Haunted house. Loved the theme but was too late to the party to get this for a reasonable price.
#10212 Imperial Shuttle. One of my favourite ships from Star Wars and one that eluded me as a child from the Kenner range so the itch is still there.
And finally, #70810 Metalbeard's Sea Cow. This was available as I was getting back into the hobby and in my naivety back then couldn't for the life of me think anyone would drop £170 on a toy so didn't get it. :(

I only really collect the CMFs, so my list is mostly them:

1) #8683 Robot CMF, but he was added on the same day as a load of others, like the Magician and the Crash Test Dummy
2) #60202 - People Pack - Outdoor Adventures; I just love all the accessories
3) #60080 - Spaceport; anything spacey, particularly the Shuttle, and you've got me!

Until a few weeks ago 3) would have been a bumblebee girl, but I found somebody selling her (amongst other figures) on Facebook Marketplace for £2!

Looks like my want list is very much figure focussed.

1 is a variant of Kai from the Ninjago magazine.
2 is the cmf ninja

3 isn’t on my list on the site as that exists mainly to give ideas to secret Santa. My most wanted set currently is Saturn V but I’ll be buying that shortly when double points roll around. After that will be Ninjago City Docks.

Until recently my wanted list was updated within a matter of a couple of weeks of the set release and older sets were just got there and then. I’m only left now with sets worthy of Christmas presents and the odd Brickheadz waiting to be used to qualify for the Xmas promo gifts at [email protected]

Like @Bumblepants I've given up on the older sets. There is so much cool stuff coming out now and the budget only gets that far, I've left a couple of minifigs on there though, you never know if they might be included in a trade or something at some point.

2. #10262 James Bond ASton Martin

3. The most wanted thing I took of my wanted list was the Medieval Market, still would love it though. The most unlikely thing on my wanted list is the big Hogwarts Castle. I am not sure I'm going to get it, although I would like to build it once and afterwards use certain elements in my own minifig version of the castle. So my most wanted thing I definitly hope to get (if it's available to me) is #40289 since I need that Olivander!

Interesting question.

1. #491 when I first started adding to my wanted list I began with sets from the year I was born.

2. #81001 added the other day after Forma was launched.

3. #10219 my most wanted sets change frequently depending on what I've been watching on TV (currently have a want for the animated series Clones Wars Y Wing) but the Maersk train is a constant. I was out of my dark ages when is was around. It even dropped to under £100 But I still never clicked to buy. Always regret it.

3. #10185 Green Grocer. Out of the old modulars I don't have, this is my favourite. I just like the building design and the colours. Don't think I will ever get it though, unless it's rereleased.

Thanks for hosting @Lego_Star and good question(s). Made me realise my wanted list is quite modest. Cue a few hours of updating later today.

1) #10197 Fire Brigade. Love the modulars (although not enough to pay after market prices until I win the lottery) and I think I just missed this one coming out of my dark age. Have them all since then though.
2) #40358 Bean There, Donut That. Mainly as I like little novelty sets like this with minifigures and stuff to flesh out the city.
3) #71001 Mr Gold. CMFs are my other main addiction and I came in on the tail end of S10 so caught some of the fuss but didn’t manage to find the elusive little chap. See above on reluctance to pay stupid money for a £2 item ( I think S10 was the last one at that price). I think that might be behind my recent excessive activity on chase figures as well.

Also really interesting to read others lists.

3) Most wanted is also Hogwarts, my wife is a massive HP fan, and this may just give her the nudge she needs to become an AFOL, and not just a WAFOL

1) The #3450 Statue of Liberty appears to be the oldest set, although I don't plan on pursuing one with any vigor.

2) #30614 Lex Luthor

3) #21100 - Shinkai; #7477 - T1 Typhoon vs. T-Rex. I have no good reason to want either set, except that I happen to have the rest of the series. One day, someone will have one of these sets to trade!

(I have pre-ordered the Aquaman dvd- worth it for that minifig (£6 on amazon :-D ))

Now my date added seems to be a bit odd as I know the item claiming to be there longest is a recent addition, so I'm going to try & figure it.
My wishlist also has bits for me & my daughters on there & things that I'm vaguely interested in as well as really wanting

1- Longest: #41093 Heartlake Hair Salon. One for my daughters as they like changing hairstyles on the minidolls

2- Most recent: #75213 Star Wars advent calendar. Merrick & his helmet. It's enough reason to get it (on sale)

3- Most Wanted: A toss-up between #75218 X-wing (more pilots) & #70830 Systar Starship (for the minidoll. Hopefully there's more like it coming)

#70173: Ultra Agents Ocean HQ is the newest. I blinked and I missed it...

#7417: Temple of Mount Everest has been there for the longest time. I've wanted it since I was five and got the rest of the theme. Aside from a few crummy polybags, it's the only one I'm missing.

@SumoLego are you sure you don't want #7298 Dino Air Tracker?

Unfortunately life's been so hectic over the past few years that I've not really been updating my Brickset data as often as I'd like, especially my "Wanted" stuff.

1) #10182 Cafe Corner - retired by TLG just before I came out of my Dark Ages "properly" and didn't even consider looking for it on eBay or anywhere else... grrr...

2) #6799 Showdown Canyon - wow, it *has* been ages since I've updated that list - went through a phase a few years ago of picking up the Western theme and never quite finished getting them all, then other stuff took priority and that's all she wrote!

3) For ages it was #7884 & #7885 as they were the only two sets missing from my original Batman line (they were only on sale for a few months at ridiculous prices for such small / rubbish sets, so didn't bother - prices doubled almost immediately and kicked myself... all put to rest when new Super Heroes sets arrived. Next it would have been #10189 Taj Mahal but that's recently been re-released so hopefully I'll grab that at some point. Sorry, long answer, so guess current most wanted would be Cafe Corner (as per my No. 1).

Hopefully Im not too late. I'm new on the forum and to Lego collecting however I will try and give an answer to the questions and will update my wanted list.

1) I suppose the closest answer to this one would be the "oldest" set I want is anything Lego Space. I remember playing with these as a child at my friend's house and always wanted these.
2) the newest item would be Voltron, it looks so cool and I remember the cartoon. 3) my most wanted is the Batman classic series batcave. Im a big batman fan and that set looks epic. It's a shame it's out of my budget

Further entries are still welcome, I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts.

All entries that answer the question will be considered for a mystery prize for being my favourite post. Judges (my) decision final.
