Oh yeah, the Series 17 was only 3.50 per pack at the LDC as well, I guess they need to move them.

Picked up #30407 Harry’s Journey to Hogwarts tonight at Target in N. Colorado.

Will this be the poly that never dies like the last iteration of the trolley? :)
Saw this for the first time at Target just now while looking for HP CMFs (didn’t find those, though.)

Went to Schaumburg IL LDC, no new polys, but they had the #40145 Exclusive LEGO store ($24) and the #40305 LEGO store ($25)in stock, along with Potter CMF and Unikitty blind bags.

Wish I could get out there....The second Lego Store one doesn't surprise me, but the first one does. Hopefully Labor Day Weekend I'll get out there.

Thanks @Tkatt! I'll have to take a look around my local stores.

They also may have them in the back (They only put out so many on the shelves), unless @madejp86 asked if they had more. You can always call ahead and ask as well.

@560Heliport or @Tkatt, what is the DPCI code on those (or whatever I need to search Brickseek) HP polys? I'd rather not run by 5 Targets if I could focus in on just one.
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,280
@Switchfoot55 I'm at work so can't check, sorry! And I'm working late today, but if I can remember anything at all when I get home, I'll let you know.
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 Member Posts: 3,492
^Thanks! I'll likely still run to the closest one during my lunch break today just in case.

I think my WV station needs a waiting Harry and Hedwig! The search is on!

...I guess in the event I'm unable to procure one, and someone has an extra, maybe I could either buy or work out a trade?
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,280
^ I'm planning to get a few more- I only had a little cash last night, didn't want to use the credit card for polys (pollies?). I'll just get another one more for you, in case you don't find them.
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 Member Posts: 3,492
    Thanks! Much appreciated!
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,280
@Switchfoot55 the DPCI for #30407 is 204000291. I have a copy set aside for you. I'd trade it for Invisibility Cloak Harry, or any polybag, preferably Star Wars. PM me if you're interested, although I'll likely be out of touch all weekend.
  • gmonkey76gmonkey76 Member Posts: 1,833
Unfortunately 204000291 is target's generic number for most polybags. So unfortunately you still may have run around to find one if you don't trade, or buy from somewhere.
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 Member Posts: 3,492
Thanks @gmonkey76. I realized that after a quick search on Brickseek. Bummer!

They had lots of them, also another Legoland exclusive and the NYC magnet. l wasn't the only one there picking them up either

From what they store says, the stores are a big seller for non-AFOLs as well,I saw a guy getting a set for his kid when I was there. Did not see the NYC magnet (was not really looking for it, what is the number on that one, if you do not mind?). They also do have the Legoland microscale castle set as well.
  • leetshoeleetshoe Member Posts: 262
Magnet is #853600. l got it since l missed out on the CMF. The stores are good sets, not too much money either, no surprise kids and parents like them.

Schaumburg area has nice Lego stores, in the mall there was even an indie brick store across from the official Lego store. Wish Indy had stuff like that

That is the store and museum created by one of the chief LEGO architecture set creators that resides in Chicago. I have not gone into it yet though. Also the mall has a Brickmania store (which sells primarily Army sets made from LEGO and custom parts) but it is across the mall from LEGO near the Cheesecake factory; a few of the workers actually worked at the LEGO store at some point.
It really is a focal point for LEGO in the area.

@560Heliport and @mak0137 Thank you both for your offers! I ran to the nearest one today during my lunch (woo for working weekends) and found several aisles full of them. I was able to pick up what I needed.

Thank you for the heads up nonetheless as I didn't even know these were a thing!

I had to resort to eBay to buy a couple, after learning that they had them at the LDC outside of Boston, but wouldn't give nor sell them to me because I didn't buy the right kind of ticket.

Surprising that an LDC would stop people from going straight to the store

Went to the Dallas LDC earlier and they had these:

An employee mentioned they’d probably have a buy one get one free sale on the polys closer to Christmas. They also restocked #40145, but don’t have #40305.  No ticket was needed to walk into the store :) .

Didn't have the 2 Solo polys when I was there about 2 weeks ago.  If I knew they'd show up at Walmart/Target, I'd wait since they'd be cheaper.  Aaargh.  How to justify a trip out there for them...

No...but they really have not done Halloween Polys at Target the last couple of years.

Not yet. I hope to see them at Target or Walmart as we get closer to Christmas. My nearest LDC ran out of them.

#30360 Arctic Ice Saw finally showed up at my local Meijer, along with a bunch of #5005250 Party Banana Juice Bar tiny boxed sets. They were on the side of the Lego aisle’s endcap.

Did polybags from the early 90's have one tiny hole on the back? I bought #1463 on ebay and it had one, and I asked a seller on ebay if the one he's selling ( #1711 ) had any holes on it and told me it had one as well to prevent discoloration from happening?

Apparently people like the Arctic Poly (#30360) as they are gone from the Schaumburg IL LDC
