Congrats @samiam391 glad you managed to find it.

Nice afternoon meeting up with @sid3windr and daughter and started buiding #75955 together with my son. We both build bag number 1 and tomorrow more will follow. Really good to build simultanously.

    ^ Woohoo, awesome afternoon indeed!

If you want simultaneous building, the Tron Legacy set is 2 times the same, twice ;-)

After four days of constant errors a quick chat with CS and I can place my order on LEGO S&H again. Alas this means I won't have anything new to build until next week, but I suppose that is the price one should expect where technical issues are concerned.

Thanks for that link @Mr_Cross. I had copied it from my bookmarks, but seem to have have forgotten to embed it!

I blame a Monday morning without Lego in the office. Or lack of coffee? Nah, lack of ABS.

I maybe had the biggest collection of all people I knew as a kid with over 10000 pieces apparently, but I think I'm beaten. the funny thing is everyone seemed to have bigger sets than me, I just had a lots of small to medium ones for a very long time.

I'm trying to determine at what point one stops processing all the possible combinations of BL stores in order to find the best deal?

I thought I was set to go, then just had to look at one more thing on my want list. That brought me to another store that has some great deals on items that were in carts for other stores. Re-ran the calculations and, although it was more, I was essentially getting the additional want-list items for a great price with essentially zero shipping.

That makes my mind thing, "What else could I find!!??!"

The risk I run is these stores will start selling pieces from my orders, and I'll have to start over again...

^ Come to Australia, then you won't have a problem! There are hardly any stores that will sell to you!

I got my sealed box of Harry Potter figs from Minifigure Madness last week. Still trying to decide what to do with it!
I bought it because of the annoying chase bast^H^H^H^H figure.
But to pass on the rest, I need to identify them all... not sure I have the time right now!

I'm thinking I should not keep Lego set boxes for nearly two years:

  • OdeinoichusOdeinoichus Member Posts: 361
^Keeping boxes isn't a huge problem, as long as you collapse them or choose to recycle at some point, then storage tends to pile up. I review and recycle, the boxes are mostly tossed, unless they're LEGO exclusives. Or Ideas sets.

Scratching my head and wondering how my LEGO Shop Order wound up here today and potentially to be delivered within a few hours.

Overnight stay in Manchester. Visited the Trafford Centre this afternoon - and the LDC too, of course. Picked up three 30xxx polys that were missing from my collection. Quite chuffed :-)

Just opened #70653. To be honest I usually keep the models in the Ninjago range and sell the minifigures off as they have been so similar for years. Opened this with the intention of doing just that. Kai and Cole are basically more of the same with a slight re-design, but I am seriously impressed with the four bad guys in this set. Tremendous amount of detail in each of them and a real Mad Max vibe going on.
I hadn't really looked at the new range much as I simply bought the two new dragons, but really wish I'd bought #70654 now in the Amazon 3 for 2 a couple of weeks back instead of a spare HP set. I did think about it, but decided it wasn't for me. Based on these figures it could form part of an excellent post apocalyptic diorama. Have to wait until next time I guess.

In the evenings I’ve been sifting through a bin rebuilding City fire and other 6-wide vehicles with the aim of selling them off. They’ve been untouched for a few years & we could use the space (for more Lego of course).

Double status from me today :-O
Just received my Mack Anthem truck from Amazon. It was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap, then placed in a box with paper packing. That's the first time any of my sets have ever been bubble wrapped from Amazon.

My wife bought me #31066 Space Shuttle Odyssey for my birthday a couple weeks ago and I enjoyed building the shuttle from it. One of the highlights from our honeymoon last September was getting to see the Space Shuttle Discovery at the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center, and I've just always been a big fan of that particular space vehicle for some reason.

A combo of hot weather and limited floor space due to Little Miss Speedmans dolls house filling the lounge floor. I'm experimenting with the dining room table.....
....borrowed the idea from a thread on Eurobricks where the chap only had the base of a single bed to build on. Our table is 5ft x 3ft

Our internet has been out of commission for the last almost four weeks, so I've been having to use my phone's data sparingly to access the net & as usual, when stuff like this happens, I've missed a couple good sales, including a chance to get the Great Wall set at 25% off. Until my ISP gets my net fixed, I at least have a second option for getting on the net now, found out my mobile company has free wireless net access & I'm close to of one of their nodes (just have to put up with getting disconnected from time to time), so hopefully I won't be missing any other toy sales.

My Lego status as of today:

Just edged pass the 900K mark!

Ignore the cost figure, I think there is a bug as I definitely didn't spend THAT much on Lego sets (actual cost is about half of that).

One query, anyone here uses Rebrickable? I believe the loose parts count consist of both PAB that I've entered into the system as well as the spares from the sets? If so, is there any way to see the breakdown?

Travelling to my first Lego event as an exhibitor today. I've had a few of my models displayed before, but this will be my first time of being with a table of just my Lego at a specifically Lego show. It's the Build in Bricks event at Crich Tramway Village in Derbyshire which starts tomorrow. Hopefully it'll go okay. The display is Sunday and Monday only, but there's different things going on until Friday. More info about the show and activities are on their website at https://www.tramway.co.uk/whatson/build-in-bricks/

I've got a warehouse scene I built ages ago, a Blackpool tram and a few other bits. I've just arrived at the museum, so I'll be able find out where I'll be in a little while.

My display is now setup towards the back of the exhibition hall at Crich. There's two brick pits as well supplied by Fairy Bricks, one with duplo in, the other with weird purple colour 2 x 4 Lego bricks. More people displaying will be arriving tomorrow morning to set their stuff up. Hopefully this link to Facebook will work to see photos I took earlier; https://www.facebook.com/adrian.croshaw.9/posts/1661163113992928
