I just got an email saying Double VIP points coming June 30th - July 7th. It's not listed on the LEGO calendar. Do they normally add VIP promotions that aren't listed on the calendar?

I believe they do, most likely in response to sales figures and/or projections.

EDIT: In fact, they do. Just remembered a Christmas season or two ago, they dropped extra double VIP points days.

I pulled the trigger on the roller coaster to, i think that wait was worth the double points. The tote makes it really worth it.

Something strange occurred with my latest order at shop.lego.com. While my ID was present in the system I had to input my address and payment method into the system. Then I noticed my VIP points are gone along with my order history (except two orders one from July 1st 2018, which is weird because it is not 12am in the US, even EST, and the other is from 2014) ..

I even checked a previous order which appears to have shipped and the number is not found in their system now...

I am also getting a lot of 'an error has occurred...' messages as well.

Anyone seen this before or right now?

I've been experiencing the exact same thing. I can't even look up my order history in general.

Had the same as @madforLEGO and @Penkid11 Called customer service and they said my points are there, and it's because of new sets being added for sale. Also stopped into the LEGO Store today, and the right points were on my receipt. Looks like LEGO still has a cappy website.

I've had the same issues as @madforLEGO , @Penkid11 and @gmonkey76 . I have a question about backorders. I ordered the new Disney Brickheadz, 2 are backordered, do I get double points anyway, when they have them because it's under the double points when I ordered?

^shop at home site always struggles at new release day. You will get the 2x points and it will probably ship sooner than the backorder date.

^during double points it is better to accumulate points rather than spend them anyway.

It won't let on the first page where you first redeem them but i think once you get to the payment page it will let you redeem them. But like bumblepants said, it's better to wait and use them later. Instead of using mine on the roller coaster i bought, I'm going to wait and use them on 1 of my voltrons.

IIrc if you're using PayPal you gotta redeem points on the first page before getting redirected.

I've been dragging my feet on a number of the already released Brickheadz. I just saw the 2x points...guess it's time to pull the trigger on the old and new.

Lots of PF things in stock currently too which I've been considering for awhile now.

Seems like now is as good a time as any!

Great question. One of the prior ones was made of sturdy canvas.
Looks like this one is recycled plastic?

Looks like plastic, nylon
one reinforcement on each handle so be careful!

I'm a bit bummed with S@H for two PF motors I purchased with my recent buy. They showed in stock before and after I made the purchase. Three days later I get a notice they're backordered. Figures. As they're for a Winter Village project, I'm not too upset, but still frustrated the site wasn't updated (shocking, I know).

I got it too... Interesting.. Would not mind another nutcracker, really depends on what is for sale.Likely only 20% off only, which may not be enough for me to justify buying 100 dollars in stuff to get the nutcracker

I sometimes go to Lego's actual calendar page (maybe its the in store events page?) and see if the new calendar is up. Other times, it seems to get leaked on sites like reddit before it hits other Lego news sites.

LEGO store in Schaumburg mall had a few sets on sale around the store, plus they had the new Batman figure blister pack #853744 and new PaB parts along with Build a figure parts, including Green squishee shake cups from the Kwik e mart and the bowl from the Lloyd figure in the Ninjago CMF set.

^I was there around 10:30, and didn't see the squishy cups or the bowl. They must of put them out later. Guess I'll stop in at Watertower, and see if they have any. I know they got new PaB parts on Friday.
