@flord I think the pictures we saw before were from Canada as well, maybe they are a bit early.

I'm surprised Amazon.de nor .fr seem to have much HP Lego yet, only from third party sellers. Other retailers here (Fun, dreamland,... ) can't seem to see anything online either.

I've been building the third model of #31079 while my son made the second model of the #31084. Both good fun.

Wondering why I chose to ignore those Mighty Micros until now, they are super fun and have some pretty exciting new parts. Got most of the 2017 sets and will get the rest of 2018 and 2017 if possible, but 2016 is going to be difficult.

Also, LEGO S&H order is In the Warehouse. Hope that 2 day delivery in Canada is going to happen because I can't wait to see what I'm lucky enough to get out of the 10 HP figures I ordered.

I have just found proof that 42 is, in fact, the answer to life, the universe and everything, the question being, "How many hours will the Harry Potter sets be out before Big W drops their prices to the floor?" 75954 is $50 off!

^ Aaaand it turns out none of the sets are available online or anywhere I could reach by car without defying the laws of physics. Guess for a fleeting moment I forgot I live in Australia, the lucky country except when it comes to Lego.

@flord I guess they were released August 1, they had them at the Lego store when I went for the Unikitty GWP and last two HP CMFs I needed yesterday so I bought them as well, really great brickheadz, probably my second favorites after Doc and Marty

Well spotted! Sleepy Unikitty woke up just long enough to find her ears, so all fixed now:

Are you willing to trade your friend for a Percival Graves figure?

Very Happy! After an hour of feeling a brand new box, found him as I was about to give up and leave. Bought about 20 others as well.

We have to call them 'boot sales' because we have these sales in a field in the arse-end of nowhere..we don't all live in the land of ' all that is glitter, gold and garages' ;-)
I actually live just down the road from the particular arse-end of nowhere car boot field your probably referring to :-)

Frustrated with FedEx, LEGO S&H order is not arriving today as it was originally meant to, so the policy of getting it within 2 to 3 days in Canada after purchase seems to have failed, miserably.

I'm off to the Gateshead LEGO store for the first time, saying as I'm up here on holiday!
I don't sound like a southerner, so they'll probably let me in :)

^ Hope you enjoyed your visit @omnium It’s my local store (as an incomer southerner myself) and they have a great team. Didn’t buy much today but had a great time just chatting Lego and stuff!

Thanks @Gibbo1959, yes, I had a productive whirlwind tour of the store. The store is very similar to Westfield SB, but the overall experience is so much better: no traffic getting there from Hexham, free parking, no getting lost in Westfield, which is an horrendous shopping centre! :)

I didn't really chat to anyone as we were on a tight schedule for a Farne Islands boat trip!! I reckon i was in and out in less than 10 mins, including time to fill a PAB cup and spend over £350...

And I got a Plants From Plants set at last!

Oh, and parking was FREE! Don't get that in London, of course :-O

Flying to US today to get some Lego (and for business meetings, but they are less fun). Extra large suitcase with plenty of spare room packed :)

At T5 there is a Harry Potter shop! Alas, no Lego, but got some sweets

I'm about to clear the table in our library/dining room (books that need batched and photographed to sell), so I'll finally be able to continue the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon build that I had to stop in February when I was too ill to sit at a table to build.

Having said that, I also have collage and zine projects to do, so I suspect the table will be just as crammed this time next week, just differently so...

I've also been thinking about the buildup of large models and planning when I want to build them. After the temple, the Old Fishing Store will come next, because I want to rework it for display at Hallowe'en, as a haunted house.

That leaves the Saturn V, and since next summer will be the 60th anniversary of the moon landing, I think I'm going to save it to build then, and meantime work on the new Harry Potter sets which will occupy my Lego budget for the rest of this year...

Added a few more sets to the Voltron and Harry Potter Minifigure purchases as most of them are on 30% or more discounts so couldn't resist.

^I do have the first Brickhead by chance (also the Helicarrier Microfig) but I only really go for MCU ones. I know the Avenjet and Iron Skull set ones aren't from MCU sets but they're clearly based on the Mk37 and Mk39 so I picked them up. There's no real logic to any of it but MCU-only is what I tell myself to justify never getting the NYCC fig...

I feel you! That NYCC figure is a glaring omission for my collection too. I did step out of "normal" Marvel Super Heroes a few times, to get the Juniors set #10721 and the Mighty Micros set #76072.

Haven't even opened #76042 yet to get at the microfig/statuette!

The packers and movers just came and left. My wife and I are moving from London to San Francisco. One 20ft container of various bits of clothing, furniture, kitchen stuff, nik naks, and about 15 plastic boxes full of Lego and computer games.

6-8 weeks at sea apparently. I miss it all already!

That sounds like an oxymoron.  I think skeletons are classified as un-dead.
