Want something to display on my coffee table as my main feature as room is tight so this will mainly be it.
so was thinking .. batman tumbler , old fishing store and doing some sort of diorama around these. Maybe do like a small bat cave for the tumbler or for the fishing store have it around water adding little sets to that ?
Be interested if anybody has done something around these 2 or even a similar project just my space in limited
thanks

    The UCS Tumbler and the Old Fishing store do not really match size-wise.

    Was thinking of just doing one or the other. And then building around. These 2 sets I really like the look of

    What about a minifig scale Tumbler and Batman making a capture down by the docks? Lots of shady dealings down at the docks.

    What size is the coffee table?
    1 is 60 cm by 60 cm
    and I have another 60 cm by 1 meter
    at the moment only have room for one so was thinking the tumbler would go nice on the smaller table in maybe some water effect

    I love the Tumbler; it's a great display piece and an excellent rendition of the source material. However, there are several practical considerations to take into account: it'll monopolize the smaller table, it's fragile (those flaps and fins seemingly fall off at the slightest breeze), and most importantly, it rolls.  I watched our store display model roll right off one of the shelves in the back. It ended poorly.

    If I had to choose between the two, I would say Fishing Store. It's a magnificent set packed with detail that is more neutral than a comic book movie item. You could also expand the setting around the Fishing Store a little more easily and include detail at minifig scale.  Plus, it's a cool conversation starter, especially as it's an Ideas set.

    Yes you have a good point. I’m now thinking the fishing store would be the best bet I have the new roller coaster aswell just measured up and that would fit onto my table so there’s another thought

    @lando,
    I loved the tumbler on display as it is a fantastic build and looks awesome (bricks on the underside to lift the wheels slightly off the deck stopped the rolling problem) but i have to agree with @MrJackson and go with the fishing store even though i haven't got it.
    It goes back to the fragile nature of the flaps and the one other thing to remember about the tumbler...... It's black.
    Lots and lots of black.
    Every dust particle in your house will decend on it and will be instantly noticeable and you will be forever dusting it (and putting the flaps back on).
