    Comments too?

    May I ask why?

That brings up an interesting question. Are the comments/posts by deleted members routinely removed? I don’t recall having seen any indication of deletion next to a member’s name like I have seen on other sites (Reddit, for example). Or is removal from Brickset forums just that rare?

It'll be unprecedented. The person who requested a week or so ago had only made a few posts so it wasn't an issue.

My preference would be to delete the user but leave the comments.

I thought that it just showed [deleted user] next to the comments if someone had their account removed.

That’s how I would have assumed it works, but I don’t remember seeing that before.

When I delete an account I have the option to delete the user's comments as well. If I don't then [deleted user] will replace their name in the listings.

Still trying to wrap my head around wanting accounts/comments deleted.  Yeah yeah, I know it's none of my business, but I am still curious.

I'll do you one better WHY delete your Brickset Forun account?

All kidding aside this is my favorite Lego forum. People are generally nice, admins keep us in line without being overbearing or with strange rules, and our worst case scenario seems to be us getting a thread off track with silly comments.
