  Not sure how that would work.
  The angled connector is axle-to-axle, so no cable connection.
  The cross bar is axle-to-cable but it's 90 degrees, so not sure what you're getting at.

  This could work, though would mess up the cleanliness of the mast...
  
  The hose would also have to be shortened a bit to make room for part 23443.

  Thanks. That is a workable solution. Ideally, over time, I can refine it, but this will suffice.

  Not technically true as part 26047 has been made in LBG for this years inside tour set.
  
  Granted that means your not likely to get hold of one just yet but may mean it will become more readily available in the future.

  Duh. This is what I was using when my mast was all tubes. For some reason, when I added an axle, I sortta forgot all about that. :)
