Took a while to decide which one given my backlog - I may not be building but I'm still buying! - but in the end went with #75187-1 BB-8. Really enjoyed it. Given me the urge to make sure I make some more time for myself for building.
I bought 500 rories from Bricklink and have just received a box of Klix bricks!!!!!
I thought BrickLink was only for genuine LEGO bricks? Needless to say, I've asked for a refund. There was no indication of the seller's store that they were selling clone brands.
EDIT: I think this count is a little low too, since Rebrickable is missing about 13 sets that Brickset has (or can't map to them) although they are all admittedly small sets.
All of these feature - 1) Extra Refrigerator for drinks and 'overflow' for the vats of sauce that won't fit in the regular refrigerator; 2) a piece of exercise equipment nobody uses; 3) one's old kitchen table and couch; 4) a non-functional console TV that nobody watches but turns on randomly and 5) a photo or picture of Venice or someplace in Italy that nobody in the family has visited.
Obviously, given my non-Italian heritage, I apparently voluntarily do this annual ritual.
Today is that day.
(Ironically, I am the only one that actually uses the room. Cruel, cruel irony...)
(I'm sure ever muscle in my body will let me know tomorrow never to do it again...)
I need to watch all the episodes again and compare them to life in the Brickset Forum ;)
Those poor poor people
"This Lego set was owned by Jamee Berard."
"The designer?"
"No the insurance salesman"
Obviously not!
Up-Scaled Infinity Gauntlet
I've just finished the Old Fishing Store, I really enjoyed it. It's not only packed full of bricks, but also all these fishing bits and bobs, I think you can feel it started out as a MOC and then had to follow the designers' rules, a bit more 'heavvy' then other things. Although Ninjago City definitly was chock-full of stuff too, more than the diner or other modulars.
I'm giving you the side/back view since it's a bit less well known, I think it needs a bit of water at the bottom though, not just sand. But that is easily fixed in the morning.
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle
Have a fun time @stlux, if you've got a sigfig, I hope you've packed them, apparently a pic with your sigfig is a mandatory requirement for AFOLs at Billund.
I liked the old one better; would have preferred they renovated it instead of replacing it.
Might of course just be because I grew up with the old one and am now showing that I have become a grumpy old man.
Roller coaster was fun (for a kiddie ride). Sad to see though that the Heartlake City diorama is gone.
Managed to catch the 4D movies. The Lego Movie one was great. Probably not enough of a Ninjago fan to appreciate the Ninjago one.
Managed to meet @SirKevbags and his world record breaking mosaic at The LEGO House. Difficult to get a good picture as the upper floors were closed today. Should be able to post a better one tomorrow.
And on the way admired the Lego themed signage.
Also tried very hard not to buy anything in the LEGOLAND store. Even though they already have the upcoming Friends, City, Ninjago and Creator waves, with the "Denmark tax" added paying RRP for them is a really bad idea.
Hope you have a blast!
Great pictures above too. Going to show my brother the new Eagle Coaster.
