I'd also like to hear May the Fourth sales.  I think I will be out of state on that date, but the good news is I am fairly sure a LEGO store will be nearby
You can order online even from “out of state”. Amazing technology these days :)
I don't understand, where is the outside state I can use to order online to my house?  What the hell is "online"?  If I have online, does that mean I can internet?
    Touché:)

Is it just me or are the sales not live?

They are not live for me either.

PSA: The Millennium Falcon is back in stock and available for Double VIP points!

Why the falcon gets double points and the y wing is excluded blows my mind

Sale is live. 20% discount on selected sets.

That's funny.  It looks like the best deal is the Double VIP MF

They were a bit slow posting the sets on sale in the US--and, frankly, all it did was mess up the cart I'd carefully worked out to get BB-8 at best value for me. Wound up having to add an extra set while hoping I didn't already own it. Must say I'm surprised they'll give double points on the UCS MF and not on the Y-Wing set, which is only a quarter the price. But then, what do I know? I don't collect UCS sets at any price. Modulars are expensive enough for me. (And, yes, Fairground sets. Never said I was consistent!)

kinda surprised the MF has lasted this long with Double VIP.  They either made a **** ton of them or interest in the set finally waned a tad

Maybe supply has finally caught up to demand, and it will be in stock from now on. I'm sure there are still plenty of people who want one, but are still saving up the $800.

Personally, I don't think they have ever ran out...Lego just markets it as if they do.....just like Apple, Nintendo, and Tesla.....oh, wait, scratch Tesla, they just cant make 'em, or enough that work anyway :)

I'm not surprised. Especially since it appears the figure is no different than in a Darth Vader Transformation set, but at least with that set it is.
A: cheaper that what it takes to get the pod
B: has more figures than the pod
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
    But it's not the pod.

would be nice to see this promo stack with the story book if it makes it to Friday.  I would definitely place an order then

It's weird to see items listed on shop@home that's two months away from release.

Also it would've been cool if they included a frozen cavewoman in one of the arctic sets seeing it's the current theme of the museum in the Capital City.

Is there a deal on Jurassic World sets? I've been eyeing Blue's Helicopter thing and the best I've seen is 17% off at Walmart. I think I read somewhere about double points.

Wasn't sure where to ask this, so I apologize if this forum isn't the best match:  Do Legoland Discovery Centers (or whatever they are called) have the same promos as in Brick and Mortars or S@H?  I may be going to a LDC this weekend coming, and I'm not sure if the Hans Christian Andersen set is a promo there.  Forgive my ignorance - thanks for any insight!

No they do not, they are separately owned entities. LDCs have their own promos, and S@H has theirs. Sometimes LDCs get promos that LEGO had and sell them outright, like the Mini London bus promo and recently the Kai Battle pod.

What exactly is a Lego Discovery Center...is it just a store that sells Lego?   Never seen or been near one to know.

It's like a "Legoland" but indoors.

Went to the Dallas LDC today and picked up #40306 Legoland Castle ($15), #40145 Lego Brand Retail Store ($24!), #40175 City Police Mission poly ($2.50) and a #5004915 ($2.50).  They had two of the JW poly, but I couldn't bring myself to pay the $6 they were asking.  I was hoping they'd have the new Lego Store set, but I was pretty pumped to get 40145.

Went there yesterday as well and got almost the same stuff.  Couldn't believe finding #40145 for $24.  It was the last on the shelf close to end of day.  Got #40166 too.  Kids picked up a few key chains at $1.99 as well.

Hadn't been to the Grapevine LDC in the past 3 years of jumping into the world of Lego.  Can't believe it.  It's a little out of the way, but definitely need to get there when they are carrying stuff not found elsewhere.

So someone apparently bought all the #40145 at the Schaumburg IL LDC. I know it is a bit late, but can anyone happen to get me one of those at cost +shipping? Or we can try to work out a trade as I have a bunch of items
  • ReesesPiecesReesesPieces Member Posts: 1,131
I'd be happy to buy/trade for a #40145 as well.

I was in NYC yesterday and saw #40305 Lego Brand Store at the Flatiron location. I wanted to pick it up but passed as I didn't want the box to get all crushed while travelling. Hopefully they'll get them at the Dallas LDC soon.

It is only at 'flagship' stores, but LEGO CS did say they will appear online in the US at some point soon.
