(BTW, this is a model of my actual boat. That's why I'm being so picky and detailed.)

Yes it exists, but only in chrome silver and metallic silver. It's also not cheap.

Similar part but it appears in light bluish great. As a bonus, its cheaper. I'm pretty sure you could attach a hollow stud to the bottom too, but it's been a while since I used one
It's a fine line. (A line I keep setting, then eventually crossing.)
So far, I've only cheated by making parts that the model looks dreadful without - namely slopes. Nothing ruins a sailboat like having a jaggy prow or jaggy windscreen. And none of the premade boat forms or windscreens work, so I took existing ones and just added (er- subracted) a slope.
