Found the new CMFs at local Target.
    One box.
    Random end cap in toys.
Looked picked through...and two boxes were crammed into one.

Two polys: hot dog vendor and Friends were $1.88

The Target lady I encountered tonight was plenty helpful. She looked at the ones on the end cap(which had some Ninjago and wave 2 Batfigs) and I pointed to her the series I was looking for. She returned from the stock room with a random non-LEGO box with unmolested series 18 minifigs.

Found a lone Friends Bumper Cars for $10 and change. Beat-up box, but too cheap to pass up. The teen Groot keychains are still at 2.98 and the (off-topic) 6 inch SW action figures are still 9.98. And since I'm off-topic, if you like Call of Duty merchandise, most of it's half off, but hidden over in the video games dept.

Groot Keychains are still $5.99 at my Target.  I hate my Target.

If it makes you feel better, my Target still has a wall with a bunch of rows of #30279, TLBM Series 1 CMFs, and Kiss Kiss Batman keychains.  No sign that the Groot keychain even exists.

Im still trying to figure out how the kiss kiss batman keychains are 5.99 after the Groot ones were discounted down to 1.98 last week

Hey... if anyone would like to grab 4x of the Groots for $1.98, I'd be happy to buy or trade for them.

Also looking for one Master Wu as well.

Saw that earlier this week....the PS4 with Supergirl poly is still $29.98
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916
If you can find them. Most targets have marked that one down to $18 though. Supergirl is worth $30 alone.

Had no idea what to look for in the dimensions section, worth a shot. :)

Other than the hair, what differentiates dimensions supergirl from the one in the brainiac attack set?
  • pharmjodpharmjod Member Posts: 2,916

It's more that for the game she is only available in the PS4 starter set. And the hair. And she comes in a polybag. All completely rational reasons why she should sell for $30+ right?

... he's gold... and comes in a little plastic bag.

For stuff I collect, there are often items I'm not personally interested in but I'm not one to judge that; being aware of the value, I sell to someone who is interested.

If you live in St. Louis, there were some Supergirl starter pack sets at the Hampton Village Target last week yet. They have a different UPC stuck over the original, so they don't show up in stock check software and you have to go to customer service to get the right clearance price. I bought a couple, but there were at least four more.

If I was there, I'd snap it up.

$30 for Supergirl + Portal + Game + Box of elements + three minifigs (Gandalf, Batman, and Wyldstyle)

    $30 Police office CMF

    Snagged a  U-Wing microfighter for 50% ($4.98)

The pilot alone makes it worth it for me.

35 S18 bags, 7 of which were Brick Suit Guy/Girl, 0 of which were Policemen
They were on a rack at the end of a toy aisle along with several TLNM and TLBM s1 and even a few S16

I saw one Fantastic Beasts story pack left among the clearance Dimensions stuff - it was not on clearance. Scanned at $39.99 -  I guess that's why it was still on the shelf!

I saw the same thing but with a TLBM story pack.

Did managed to grab the last PS4/Supergirl set for $18. Already had Supergirl (last year's $30 sale I believe), but at $18, couldn't pass.

I saw some Dimensions starter packs marked down to $15 or so, but the PS4 one advertised a Lloyd fun pack Target exclusive rather than a Supergirl.

They look like ordinary good deals for part out so I may buy anyway.

Some #71222 Laval Fun Pack for $3.58 but that's barely worth it at $2.

Even those S18's were gone. Checked TLNM / TLBM s1 on a lark and actually found some N-Pop Girls and Vacation Batmen, didn't have time to search the whole rack but will go back ASAP. already looked for Rogue or Banana Guy in the S16 bags with no luck.

I was out of town and stopped in at Target.....tons of Ninjago minifigures and I found 1 Series 18 mini figure bag.  So I ask a floor manager it there were more.  Finally...after not understanding and explaining that Ninjago and Series 18 are different.  She looks at her hand held.  Said they had 594 on hand...and 64 in the back.  She checks the back room and it was a case of Series 16.
She also told me something to my surprise, she said the minifigures at the checkouts are from another "supplier".  Target has nothing to do with those.  Maybe that would explain why they're at the checkouts instead in the toy aisles.  Stuff at the checkouts seem to stay there and rot.

    #71173 $13.48 #71174 $14.98 same

Everyone else's Targets loaded with PS4 #71171 Lego Dimensions Starter Pack?  My two Targets have at least 25-30 each in a pile on an endcap clearance.   None have the SuperGirl obviously.

My local Target (Queens Place) is overrun with Xbox 360 starter packs only. They're $13.xx, so I finally broke down and bought one. Might as well use the different packs I've accumulated over the last couple years. They also had a couple of the Fantastic Beasts fun pack for $3.48, so I picked those up as well.  Everything else Dimensions-wise was gone.

At $13 for the starter packs, you pay around .05 per piece. A good price at the end of the day. I think I've purchased 4 of the starters myself. I've been giving the game and platform and character coins to friends to try out.  Though I'm starting to look at the platforms for mock purposes. Dang blizzard keeping me from giving Target more money ;)

My Target is picked clean of Dimensions. Had Series 18 but no cops; still managed to finish my set of Series 18
  • jhuntin1jhuntin1 Member Posts: 53
My target had three PS4 Dimensions sets with Supergirl, but still at $60. The Xbox 360 versions were $15. It did have the three Incredibles 2 Junior sets, so I went ahead and bought them. I know they're not a great deal, but The Incredibles is the only Pixar movie I really like.
  • sonsofscevasonsofsceva Member Posts: 542
@jhuntin1 The PS4 starter pack is $18 on Target's website, so you could price match...if Supergirl is worth that much for you.

I stopped by today in an effort to rummage through some Series 18 bags. I saw a single Ninjago set on clearance (1 more set than usual).

They had stocked all the Jurassic World sets though. They look fantastic!

@Astrobrick, I was snowed in indeed! But I broke through the snowdrifts today and raided a Walmart in Litchfield, collecting 5 Bounty Hunter battle packs on clearance at $9.00 a pop. Unfortunately, I didn't get near a Target though.

@jhuntin1, I've only found the PS4 Dimensions with Supergirl for $45-60. All other Dimension starters have been between $14-18.00 at the Target Stores near me.

Red Hulk set was 50% ($29.99)

Oddly enough the Flying Fox was also on the endcap but not on sale.

Has target been hiding the clearance Dimensions starter packs somewhere? I looked in the aisle the Target app said they were in today but saw zero sign they ever existed.

Look around electronics. You'll probably find them where they put the other electronics clearance items. I found the Xbox 360, PS4 and WiiU versions, but no Xbox One.

The Targets around here already removed the Dimensions sections.  Any stragglers that might remain will likely be in the electronics clearance endcaps or toy clearance endcaps.

At my target what remains of the starter packs were in the electronics clearance section, but the dimensions packs were in a end cap in the toys.

Isn’t the head also different? I don’t imagine Dimensions Supergirl would have been quite as cartoonish.

Neither is cartoonish, and the Dimensions one has an alt-faceprint.

SearchlightRG Seems to be referring to the Mighty Micros version.

Rather than the Braniac Attack version. #76040

    Or the Dimensions version.

    Or DC Superhero Girls.
