Avent Calenders?  Time really does stand still at the airport.  And BTW, that guy in the back has no idea he's about to be lunch for a T-Rex.

Yeah there were tons of Advent calendars, not just the ones you can see there. Also the dinosaur is anamatronic and roars when you go past so he might have a slight idea of his pending doom.

Curious why the fakes look so much more accurate than lego versions....

Really like Thanos printed gauntlet as an alternative. And good to see Wong.  Duel molded legs on Nomad Cap look so well.

I woke at 2am, jetlag from a work trip abroad. Tried willing myself back to sleep and in the end, gave up.
The upside is I'm building the #4000026 Tree of Creativity that my lovely wife bought me for my birthday :)

With his gleaming tool clasped tightly in his lickle fist, Legopants cuts the seals on another set from his growing backlog...

Hot on the heels of #10219 Maersk Train, it's time for #4841 Hogwarts Express.

Got this cracking set in a trade with Brickset's very own @drdavewatford back in December 2012/January 2013, so it's about time it finally got built! :-)

Nice one @Mr_Hobbles! We'll be building ours this evening. It's nice the both cycles are identical builds because the wife and I will be able to build in parallel :-)

We'll have to try harder to meet up next time!

Ah-ha! Nice catching up with @Legoboy and his fabulous family!

I love how your photos flow like a timelapse sequence :)

    Sam's definitely a master builder.

Cleaning an old set from my childhood - and it's actually my first time washing LEGO.
Can anyone guess which one is it?

Breaking Update!  Suspect spotted by the train tracks.

    (I really need a hobby.)
Thrawn is there, so don't worry. He'll find the guy based on the stuff he stole. ;)

(I think between Mr. T, a certain Yeti and a Samurai armed with a french bread... Admiral Thrawn is the only hope.)

Had plans for James, Anthony & I to build my #40290 this morning, but I'm wanting to preserve the box, so it's been delayed until I can figure that part out. While I've been puzzling out that idea, @xiahna has had fun building #21013, we recently decided we'll make a bit of space on our hallway bookshelf for a few small builds, so we're going to be assembling all our Architecture sets.

Thanks to @xiahna's brilliant bakery skills #40290 has been freed from its plastic prison & built, my wife's skills with a palette knife made short work of the box. I'm thinking of getting a small picture frame to create display from the front & rear panels of the box, along with a spare 60th Anniversary tile from one of the Classic sets & a red 2x4 brick (or possible two bricks, one from my childhood Lego collection & one from this year).

    lego status.
trying to work out how to:-
    1. make room for new lego set's to go on display.
    2. work out how to change the way i store the set's that are unbuilt so that i dont kill my self when i am trying to move the box's the unbuilt set's are stored in.
    3. trying to work out if i can buy and Fit in to my room more bookshelf's from ikea to display sets on.
    4. looking at my backlog and wishing i could build some of it. but knowing that untill i make room that is a bad idea.
    5. trying to workout of a new way to store the Building Instructions book's that i have.

what i need is a new room to be magicly added to my house.
sadly i dont see that coming to pass.

That's a Jedson.  I'm more curious as to its vintage.  I am impressed that it looks well-used!

Good job I didn't show the other wall then.....my guitars share with my Lego. It's currently a fight for dominance.

Yep, it's a Jedson, good spot. I think it's from the early 70's, but it's very hard to tell for certain. It is absolutely well used, 'distressed' is, I believe, the modern parlance :) It's actually not much good as an out and out electric and I don't really play electric anyway. I do play slide though, so after a bit of butchery it now has a raised bridge and nut, Catwhisker P90's and heavy gauge strings. Looks like a dog's dinner, but sounds great (in the right hands).

Nearly sold it a month or two back in a weak moment, but checked it out before sale and changed my mind. Guitars are a lot like Lego in that respect. Easy to acquire, hard to part with.

Chucking it down with rain all day, so been watching the live stream from the British GT races at Oulton Park while dusting and rearranging everything on the modular street and the shelves above it.
